We traveled from Sandals Grande St. Lucian on September 19 (2024) and Mr. Kevin was an excellent driver that checked on our comfort, arranged a “pit stop” about halfway to the airport and arranged for someone to meet us once we arrived at the airport. Our luxury sedan was clean and the ride was smooth. We will travel with them again!

Kenny went above and beyond in getting me from my resort, to the family function, then back safely. 10/10 I recommend you request him specifically for private transfers. He knows the island very well & was always on time.

Kenny was so polite he got me a drink on a hot day, I needed it. He made sure to check on me and it made me feel special. He understood me clearly and i understood him as well, well knowledge of the country and roots to take. he is the best

We used Island Taxi & Tours for our transfer to and from the airport and our hotel. We paid for a 'luxury SUV''. Upon pickup from the airport, we were greeted with an older SUV with no air conditioning. During the whole drive to the hotel, the driver was paying more attention to his phone and us rather than paying attention to the road. We honestly felt very unsafe the whole drive to our hotel and were glad it was over. He also didn't offer a water until we basically got to the hotel. I emailed the company and told them about our experience and requested a different driver on our way back to the airport, which we got. Our driver on the way back (Kevin, I believe) was so much better. He was polite, made sure were were ok in the back seat, offered us a beverage as soon as we got in the car, and had a nice and friendly demeanor. He also was very attentive on the road in front of us. It was night and day compared to the previous driver. My rating is no stars for the first leg of our trip and 5 stars for the second leg, so I will just go with average. The only way I would recommend this company is if you specifically asked for Kevin as your driver. Otherwise, I would look elsewhere. Also, we felt conned about the whole 'luxury SUV' option we booked. A 10+ year old Mitsubishi with no A/C is anything but luxury.

We were greeted at the airport for fast track service thru immigration. We were then led to our helicopter transfer to our resort (highly recommended). Once the helicopter landed we were greeted by our private driver to Sandals Grande. Four days later our driver Vincent who was great brought us to Stonefield resort. After three days at Stonefield our driver brought us back to the airport for return trip home. Everything was fantastic about this company and service. Highly recommend. Communication thru out could not have been better. 5 stars all day

Our 1st experience was "private luxury suv with fast track arrival" on 7/27/24. And although a nice sedan came instead, everything else was up to par, so not a big deal. We decided to give company another try on our departure to airport on 8/2/24. Company never showed up or responded to emails morning of pickup. Had to get alternative transportation for fear of missing our flight. Company finally responded later and acknowledged my request for cancelation/refund. And they apologized for their poor service, and promised a prompt refund. Well, had to contact them again on 8/8/24, because I still hadn't received a refund. Again, they apologized and promised refund, but as of 8/17/24, I still have not received a refund. I had to ultimately dispute this charge with my credit card company to finally get a credit. Absolutely horrible experience when you are paying for "private luxury transportation services."

Had a very great experience with Island Taxi. Upon arrival we were greeted by an employee who walked us through the arrival process. As we were the only arrival, the terminal wasn’t busy and probably didn’t save much time. We were then escorted to the Sandals lounge were our driver met us after about 10 minutes. The horror stories you hear about the drive to the north are true! It’s a very rough road, very curvy, and very narrow. If you are at all sensitive to motion sickness, please prepare yourself. Do NOT attempt to rent a car!! Our diver KJ was very friendly and answered all of our annoying questions about the island. Even though Sandals has a free shuttle service I opted for the private transfer for 2 reasons: 1) To get out of the airport ASAP. No waiting to fill the shuttle. 2) Since a shuttle is more top heavy, it will rock back and forth more than a sedan. The road is twisty enough, no need to multiply the effort. For our drive back to the airport, our driver was on time on the dot! Not much conversation, but we were quite as well in denial our vacation was over. Once at the airport we were directed to drop off bags with the airline and then were escorted to the front of both immigration and security lines and finally to the lounge. Airport was a bit busy, so this probably shaved 40 minutes off the process. Overall, this company is highly recommended. Booking online is easy and they are very responsive to emails.

Outstanding experience that really was a difference maker on our third trip to St. Lucia. Met inside the terminal and walked to the front of customs, saving hours in the hot terminal before starting our vacation. Friendly and safe driver took us to our resort, and made sure we were comfortable, offering beverages on the way and helping with luggage. Ride back was equally pleasant, so much so that we fell asleep on the way to the airport. We were met at the terminal curb by someone who made sure we got to our check in line, and then to the start of the customs line. Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating, excellent service to and from the airport that we will use again!

We used Island Taxi & Tours for access to the departure VIP lounge only (not for transfer from resort). The lounge was very clean, comfortable and had sufficient food and drink to help us pass the time as we waited for the plane. We were at the airport a year prior and did not use the lounge ... way better in the lounge for sure!!!

Do this. Definitely worth the cost. Avoid the hassle. Private best way. Ahmed was terrific. Good conversation. Insight into life on the island. Couple scenic stops on they way

Overall, I enjoyed the services provided. We booked the arrival and departure VIP transfers with fast track and departure lounge. On arrival, the line were short, so being brought to the front of the line wasn't critical and everyone needs to wait for the luggage anyway. However, I would probably book again in the event of a long line. Our plane arrived almost an hour early, so you really can't purchase this based on plane schedules. We were brought right to the Sandals lounge and the driver was there within 5 minutes. Great value in that, no clue what time the free Sandals transfer left. The drive itself wasn't bad at all, other reviews make it seem so much worse than it actually is, and my wife is prone to car sickness (took bonine and wore sea bands), she had no issues. Drinks were only offered once, maybe 20 minutes into the ride. I'm sure we could have asked for more, but wasn't offered other than the one time. Only other issue is at one point our driver noticed another vehicle swerving which they eventually pulled over and our driver pulled over to stop and check on them for a few minutes. Nice of him to do, but was a bit concerning being left alone in the running car with others walking past us. Felt like someone could have easily gotten in the car and drove off but all was good. On departure, Kevin was our driver and was great. Kept checking in on us, but also let us just relax and not force conversations. As I have noticed on other reviews, drinks were never offered, however we paid for the luxury transfer that had them included. On return to the airport, we were greeted by an airport porter who wanted to take our luggage. We are capable of carrying our bags but the driver insisted this man would take us to fast track so i said Ok. This was not the case, he simply took our luggage to the counter, said fast track is over "there", took his tip and left. We were under the impression someone would be waiting for us, take us through and bring us to the lounge but this was not the case. Maybe I misunderstood what was included. Lines were short, so we made our way through and checked ourselves into the lounge. I do feel like a non-experienced traveler may have had some difficulties with this based on what service we were expecting. I read lots of reviews saying the lounge was not worth the price, but we enjoyed it and would book again. Quiet, comfy chairs, although we didn't drink alcohol, open bar and picking foods...quesadilla, chicken wrap, cheesy potato bowl, fruit, salad, cheese sandwich, tuna sandwich, cookies etc were served. It seems like items are frequently rotated. Everyone was very nice, we walked down to the main terminal once boarding had started. It was very crowded, loud and finding a seat would be difficult. Overall, happy with the services that were provided but with some opportunities to either improve the service offering or be more clear about the description of services so that the customer knows exactly what they are getting. If those are addressed I would see this service as 5 stars. Thank you.

Driver was personable and a more than competent driver. We could have taken a free shuttle to our resort, but this was money well spent.
