What to expect
Be ready for pickup bright and early at 8:15 a.m. at your Philipsburg hotel. In a comfortable tour vehicle, transfer to Dock Maarten to board your boat for the day, a catamaran staffed with an attentive captain and crew.  Find a spot on the decks or inside the cabin of the catarmaran, then enjoy the scenic hour-long ride to the first stop, the nature reserve of Île Fourchue. Grab some snacks and sip a mimosa on the way if you wish.  The day's second stop is Gustavia, the capital of St. Bart's, home to a 17th century fort and museum, harbor filled with mega yachts, and streets of shops and restaurants. Depart Gustavia for Colombier, where you can lounge in the sun, swim with island marine life, and snorkel to explore the underwater world. Lunch will be served on board the boat.  Sail back to Philipsburg while enjoying champagne, grapes, and banana cake, then end up back at your hotel for drop-off.

Please read the tour description in full
I can’t really rate the tour as we turned around 45 min after departure. It was a rough and cloudy day - rained for a while. However, you are crossing the ocean and every review on TA indicated that it is a rough ride over. I can not necessarily blame the captain and crew for their decision to turn back - because there were 4 hysterical passengers thinking they might die on the ocean - they wanted to be let off half way there - the captain had to make a call and turned around - this was my last day and had planned this trip months in advance - the 4 ppl thought they were on a transfer to st Barth’s and not a sailing adventure trip- they didn’t have bathing suits.... and in the ride back to the hotel decided to get a cab and go to the airport for a flight over to the island instead. So please read the description of the tour carefully and make sure you understand fully what you are choosing to do- I wish I could review the trip - but sadly I cant. I gave the team a 5 as I didn’t want to lower their rating when it was 4 tourists that didn’t pay attention that took the day away 😔.

Perfect day in St Maarten
Feb 2020
What a lovely day sail with Mario and his crew! They were friendly, attentive, and safety-conscious. On the day of the sail, the ocean was a little rough. However, the crew did an excellent job guiding us while snorkelling and swimming. Everyone in my family, from two teenagers, experienced sailor husband, and a weak swimmer like myself, had a great time. It was a wonderful day and one of the best things we did in St Maarten!.

Great!
Feb 2020 • Couples
Had a great experience yesterday on this tour. Even though it was raining at the start and the water was rough we felt safe with the captain. Once we got to St. Barths the customs process was smooth and we enjoyed some shopping. On the way back we enjoyed a great lunch, lots of rum punch and we saw 2 sea turtles and lots of big fish while snorkelling. This tour has a bit of everything. Tamara, Prince and Dean were awesome!

Great day at Sea
Feb 2020
Excellent day cruise in the catamarin, nice snorkelling, phantastic welcoming crew - a special appreciation to Anne and Prince, always so attentive, fun, welcoming. Geat captain too . So good to sail back from St. Barthes with real sail sailing - no engine, no noise, just the sea and the waves ! For sailing lovers, this was really an opportunity ! Excellent food and drinks (open bar) - including champagne ! Also transfer from hotel . Highly recommend

Great trip but rough waters
Jan 2020
I am giving an excellent rating despite my husband and I getting sick to St. Barths and on the return to St. Maarten. We were warned at our hotel that the speed ferry is 45 minutes vs. a 2 hour one-way to St. Barts on rough waters. At their recommendation I bought dramamine and took it an hour before sailing with a very light breakfast (Toast & tea only). Going there an hour in, I decided to have a rum punch. What for!!!! Instantly me and some of the other guests were so sick. It was a beautiful afternoon and the boat had at best 12 or 13 so it wasn't overly crowded.

The crew was amazing, attentive, funny, the boat was kept well and very clean facilities. Getting to St. Barts was the icing but by that time my husband had a severe headache and didn't enjoy the 2 hours we had to shop and make use of the time.

On the return to St. Maarten we stopped to do some snorkeling, also another pass and then when the guests came back on board, a nice lunch was laid out for us to include: rice n peas, fried tilapia fish, potato salad, Caesar salad, some plain french bread and ribs. The food was delicious, but hubby again passed.

Although the ride back was supposed to be less rocky, it still rocked way too much, maybe given the size of the catamaran is why.

If you're not easily sea sick, you won't regret it and it's an excellent value. You do pay an additional port fee before you board.

Fun, low key all day cruise
Dec 2019 • Family
Ben and Martina provided a great trip aboard the SeaDuction. Leisurely cruise to several spots around St Maarten for swimming and snorkeling, including good food and as much (or as little) rum-based drinks as you like.

Booking cruise included shuttle to/from your location, snorkel gear (if you need it), lunch (cold grilled chicken pieces, pasta salad, tuna salad, Caesar salad, fresh bakery bread, cheese...all excellent), soda/water/drinks, and some fun stories. Bring a towel, sunscreen and some cash for a tip...leave everything else at home.

Great Crew
Too Rhum Punch was a great trip we had so much fun snorkeling. The crew was so friendly and made sure no cup was empty. Gave us plenty of time to see everything and let us know where we are going, what and where to look for best experience. I will definitely look them up again when I'm in St Maarten.

A trip highlight for us
Nov 2019
To start out Stephine took our reservatation when she was "off duty" nice dedication. They picked us up at our hotel on time and drive us to the pier, got checked in and boarded the 58 ft Catamarn and were off at 9am. Captain James Dean took us out for a 1.6 hour trip to St. Barths.A little choppy but fine. First mate Prince and Host Kyle made all the drinks we wanted (included) over and back. They serveved a Carribbean style lunch that was great. We didn't snorkle but many did for 45 minutes or so. then under sail back to Phillipsburg. Thanks again to Cpt Dean, Prince and Kyle
