About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- djkeane1230 contributionsStunning tour with an amazing crewSammy and Junior were both great and kept the passengers entertained and happy the whole day. I’ve done 2 other similar trips in St Maarten and they are tops. Highly recommend this tourWritten 8 September 2024
- dondrep20190 contributionsBest Boat Tour of Anguilla! 5*Wow oh wow, where to begin. Sammy and Junior were both great and personable! The boat ride was enjoyable and was the highlight of me & my sister's trip. Each stop was better than the previous. Turquoise waters and good conversations at each isle stop with both Captains! I highly recommend this tour for the experience in Anguilla, the knowledge captured along with the humor, and will definitely do it again next year!!Written 5 September 2024
- geogiasun123450 contributionsAmazing beautiful anguillaWow! Absolutely a highlight of our trip to St. Maarten in 2023. “Boy” was a great captain and the crew was awesome as well. The beaches were spectacular. Didn’t expect that my kids would go cliff jumping, but yeah, that happened! A memory for the ages.Written 25 August 2024
- corbinh5240 contributionsWorth the hypeWe have never been on a boat tour like this before so overall this was an excellent first time experience. The boat captain Miguel and Coco were hilarious, personable guys who had stories about each of our stops. The rum punch was served all day and without question, with plenty of other drinks to go with. No need to bring your own water as they had plenty of water to drink. Anguilla is a beautiful country with so many beaches to offer that are either just as clear, or more clear than St. Maarten. Shoal Bay lives up to the hype and I will absolutely come back to see that again. The snorkeling was a ton of fun with plenty of fish and reefs to see. There was even a stingray off of Shoal Bay! Overall 10/10 we will look for this specific tour when we come back to visit one day.Written 20 August 2024
- daverJ7093QY0 contributionsDon't Miss This TourWe had a great time with Miguel and Coco. Beautiful day. The weather caused the itinerary order to change, but we still visited the 4 spots listed. Fun and relaxing day in the water and on the beaches.Written 12 August 2024
- jipingt20240 contributionsBiggest Disappointment! We were extremely disappointed with this tour. We had booked it as our sole excursion during a 7-day cruise and were very excited about it. Despite arriving at the meeting place with our tickets and all confirmations, the local operator could not locate our information. We were simply turned away. If an operator can’t honor the tickets they issue, it raises serious concerns about the reliability of booking with you. We returned to the ship and had a good time, but based on our experience, I would advise fellow travelers to avoid booking this tour.Written 8 August 2024
- I5904SJmandys0 contributionsAmazing tripThis was an amazing trip. The staff was great. The views are unreal. The captain did a great job navigating in the rough waters. I would definitely take this trip again. So much better than taking the ferry.Written 6 August 2024
- kevinlR4380NI0 contributionsFantastic day exploring beach’s!Fantastic day touring the beautiful beaches of Anguilla! Capt Miguel and mate Coco made the day enjoyable. Plenty of food and drinks. Safety was prioritized and not a concern at all with the able Capt. The speedboat gets you to more beach stops than the larger catamaran trip with a smaller group. Fun family day with lots of time at each beach. Will def be back!Written 4 August 2024
- heatherjY7154KV0 contributionsWonderful trip! Excellent tour guides!Anguilla's beaches are amazing! Some of the most pristine I've seen with gorgeous turquoise water. We had plenty of time at each stop and never felt rushed. Our tour guides were awesome and took such great care of us. The sandwiches were delicious and the drinks were plenty. They had water bottles, soda, beer, and rum punch as well as chips during lunch and as a snack whenever you needed one. We definitely recommend this tour to anyone considering it.Written 27 July 2024
- chelsea b0 contributionsBest Boat Ride on the IslandSammy and Junior were both amazing. The whole experience very memorable. Sammy was very knowledgeable and Junior was so quick to fill every customers need. Would highly recommend this, and do it again. The stops were just breath taking. My husband and I really enjoyed our fun boat day! 10/10Written 25 June 2024
- russellsM7571BY0 contributionsSoaking up the sunWe enjoyed the day relaxing on the Scarab 40 with our two guides who were more than knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot about the culture and loved every minute of it. Junior was on top of every request before we even asked. Sammy was a very skilled captain and I say that with knowledge of boating myself. His skill set made the ride that could have been very rough so much fun. If I get the chance again you’re the # 1 team! Thanks for such a great dayWritten 25 June 2024
- Christopher H0 contributionsGreat time in Anguilla! We had a great time. Thanks Captain Sammy and Coco. They took care of all our needs. Anguilla had some amazing beaches. I would recommend this as a great day visit to Anguilla.Written 27 May 2024

- FrankS4740 contributionsSt. Maarten Robinson Speed Boat Tour is highly recommendedGreat fun on the St. Maarten Speedboat and Snorkel tour. We arrived on the Celebrity Reflection but other guests were staying on the island. It's a 12 minute walk to the marina from the cruise port so no need for taxi. Because it was a calm day we were able to do a full 360 tour of St. Maarten and had a blast. We went from the Atlantic ocean / Dutch side to the Caribbean French side and visited several fun spots for snorkeling and beach. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at a local restaurant. Our boat had two 300HP outboards which made for quick travel, so nice to see everyone laughing and enjoying a spectacular day. Our crew of Sammy and Yohan were wonderful and very accommodating, personable and they played fun music that everyone enjoyed. We've done many many excursions and are happy to highly recommend Robinson...for a great time call!Written 18 April 2024

We booked this 6 hour excursion during our Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas cruise. This was our best excursion on our cruise. The guests are kept to less than 20 so it feels small and personal. The captain and his two crew members are local St Maarten citizens that really seem to know their island. We traveled a large portion of both the Dutch and French sides of the island. They showed us hurricane damaged areas, high end shores, the iguana beach, a local beach side restaurant and even President Trump's St. Maarten island home from the water. We stopped two times to snorkel and honestly didn't see anything special as there were hardly any fish in the water, but it was cool to see Creole Rock and to just get out of the boat and snorkel. The crew took safety seriously and required everyone to wear life vests while on board and while snorkeling, which I appreciated, having children on the excursion. The restaurant meal was plentiful, but it was very hot on the beach and we stayed there a bit too long, at almost an hour, and we got very sunburned due to the lack of shade. Bring lots of sunscreen! They had plenty of cold drinks on board and they were available in unlimited quantity. The water was a bit choppy that day and we did witness a few of the guests with motion sickness, so if you're prone to that, don't take this excursion since the boat does go very fast over big waves and the excursion does truly last 6 hours from start to finish. Stopping to feed the iguanas was also a highlight of the trip. All in all a great excursion with friendly, knowledgeable local guides that showed us a large amount of the shores and waters of St Maarten.

The tour has a really comprehensive itinerary allowing everyone to find something to enjoy as certain things are simply out of control;
1. You start in Great Bay area where you park the car at the Chesterfields Marina ($1 per hour, $20 max a day if you lose the ticket - cash only, easy) there are some restrooms here so be smart as the next ones aren't for about 2 hours or so. From here you speedboat on the south/southwest coast passing Indigo Bay/Simpson Bay to enter the Simpson Bay Lagoon - here there is a slow ride along the coast to explore some yachts and sadly some Irma aftermath
2. Once out of the lagoon the boat speeds to Creole Rock located on the north of the island by Grand Case (you pass along Fort Louis, which I highly recommend visiting on foot, Friar's Bay and Happy Bay and of course Grand Case Beach) - this is the first stop for snorkeling; ours at first was pretty difficult as visibility wasn't great but then the out of the sudden the water cleared up and there were plenty of fish/water stuff to see - nice stop
3. From here the waters get a bit choppy and you speed boat to Tintamarre Island - it can be a hit or miss as we saw a turtle head from the distance but once in the water no one got lucky; with that many boats in the area I don't think it's the easiest thing to complete though but again this is out of the company's control
4. Next short ride takes you to Pinel Island - here is where you get some food (sandwiches) on the boat or you can go and buy a lunch at one of the two nice restaurants; this is the longest stop where you can chill on the beach, walk around or just be in the water
5. From here the waters get choppy a bit (north east of the island is pretty rough at times) and you return the same way you arrived, that is along the west coast as from what we heard from the boat captain the east side of the island is too rough and they barely ever do the full 360 out of safety concern
6. The next stop is a short time at Baie Rouge (really nice coast line, very unique) with some "typical" info about which celebrity owns which property (not may thing but the Baire Rouge coast line does look very nice, the natural part of it) and from here you go along Cupecoy Beach to stop for about 20-30 minutes at swim around Mullet Bay (very nice pristine and clear water - we visited on a separate occasion from the land and the crowds made us not want to stay there so approaching it from the water was a far better experience)
7. Last stop was a very thought through idea of going to Maho so you can actually be on the boat while the plane was landing - very cool that the crew actually checks the schedule and works around it - it was a very cool idea to conclude the tour
8. From here last fast ride back to the Great Bay where you return to the original starting point
The crew is really nice, the itinerary was very thought through and even though the actual stops did not work out perfectly we still both enjoyed the ride and everything that came with trip - I would highly recommend the company (very nice and friendly crew) to anyone who wants to see St Martin/St Maarten from the water and enjoys variety of water activities
TIP: there is water/soft drinks and beer on the boat included, so are the fins and masks, all you want to bring with you is towels and sunscreen - the sandwiches are more than enough to go through the ~6 hours but if that's not enough for you take a snack with you or some cash to dine at Pinel (there is a small souvenir store there as well)

We had an absolutely wonderful day. Our guide “Boy” (Daniel) was very knowledgeable about the surroundings (sharing information as we approached and passed by points of interest), navigated around and with the swells in the water, and made sure we had the best experience possible. He was very patient with our 3 boys, even offering to help our youngest who freaked out a little with his first snorkeling attempt. Plenty of food and drinks throughout the day which were offered without having to ask. And the small group on board was a nice change from our busy ship. Five stars!!!!

While spending 6 days in St. Maarten, my brother in law, husband and nephew and wife found this 6 hour cruise. We also wanted to spread my sister's ashes, as this was her favorite place to come with my brother in law. Our captain, Brett, was so accommodating and respectful in providing a few minutes and a quiet spot for us to say our goodbyes. The rest of the day was also amazing! Brett and Dillon were fun and informative. We got to snorkel in a couple of areas and see amazing fish and turtles. We got to pet iguanas and see some of the interesting places around St. Maarten. If you want to spend a great day learning about St. Maarten, these guys rock!

I had an amazing time in St Maarten, but this was the highlight of my entire groups trip. The Crew was so cool and amazing! Radek and Laney made sure we had a blast. Great tunes, Drinks and some of the most amazing beaches. My friends hat blew off into the water because of the wind. He had it back within a minute. They were nice enough to turn back and grab it for him. This tour is worth every penny! While they have many similar tours on the island this was the best. The other guest on our boat was on a cruise schedule and they took it very serious, getting them back to the dock in time. Do not think twice, BOOK THIS TOUR!!!!

Is this tour currently available from the Dutch side of the island for U.S. residents?

We took the 3 island tour with captain Mike. Is this Grand three island the same tour? We want to take it again. It was so much fun. Unless he's doing something else we might like more. Want same captain. We are on Carribean Princess Feb. 27 on Wednesday in St Martin. Thanks, Marsha Bailey
