I can't recommend this tour enough! My boyfriend and I booked this last minute as our final excursion of our trip to St. Martin and it was the perfect way to swim in the water and see the water one last time. V was our captain, and he was the perfect amount of accommodating/involved while also giving us some privacy. Refreshments and snacks were included and we even were able to connect to the boat's bluetooth and play our own music! At the beginning of the tour, we anchored at Happy Bay and swam in the crystal clear water with some of the noodles and water toys on board. We ended the tour watching the sunset at Creole Rock and my boyfriend proposed! I would definitely consider this tour romantic for a couple, but it could also very easily be enjoyable and fun for a group. Definitely book with Blue Pelican while you're on the island! This was actually our second trip with Captain Vetea and Blue Pelican Charter. The first trip was the three hour snorkel trip to Tintamarre the day before. An amazing trip that included swimming with turtles (see photo)! When we got back we all decided to do the full day to Anguilla the next morning. The whole day was filled with one great snorkel stop after another, and incredible scenery in between. The best part of the trip was getting to know Captain Vetea. He is a great Captain - polite, professional and very knowledgeable about Saint Martin and all the nearby islands. I would highly recommend Blue Pelican Charters to anyone looking to really see the beauty of this area.

We spent a delightful day with Captain V. He was professional and a great guide for our trip to Creole island for snorkeling. We saw lots of turtles, fish and sting ray. The boat was clean and well equipped for our group of 8. We were able to see the French side of Saint Martin by water which is the best way to see it! We were so happy to have spent a half day with Captain V, he was the best. *Another worthwhile trip would be to go to Anquilla to see the gorgeous beaches and homes. Next time for sure.

We had Marcus as our guide! Request him!! He was not only professional he was charming , knowledgeable and funny!! We had a homemade picnic on the boat! We had rum punch (homemade) and we stopped and fed the iguanas! I travel A LOT! This was one of the best travel experiences of my life! We had a blast!!!!

Had an amazing half day private charter with Captain V! So easy to walk to marina from Secrets Resort in Anse Marcel. To start we went to Creole Rock to snorkel before the crowds came in. Saw a lot of fish and coral there. Then got a ride by tour of Grand Case with some great insight to the local community. I mentioned that I heard of Happy Bay that I thought was close to there and he gladly took us and let us swim and took some gorgeous pictures. We then proceeded to Tintamarre Island and walked the beach and swam with the turtles. He showed us a sunken boat on other side of the island with some fish and swam there and we saw a dolphin! Which is rare and early in season he said but just got lucky. Finished the day grabbing a cocktail and swimming at Pinel Island and saw lots of iguanas there. Overall was a wonderful trip and perfect tour of some incredible parts of the island for snorkeling and swimming with a knowledgeable and easy to hang with Captain. Highly recommend!

Our boat and captain picked us up from the Anse Marcel marina. The boat was comfortable and we were provided with a cooler filled with refreshments, plenty of clean gear for snorkeling and swimming. Captain Vetea had a perfect day planned with sightseeing local historical gems, snorkeling with sea turtles, must see shorelines and beaches and a lovely lunch at a local beach restaurant. He navigated the sometimes choppy waters (crossing St. Maarten to Anguilla) expertly. We had the perfect day and would highly recommend Blue Pelican!

We had a fabulous time thanks to Captain V touring the island and enjoying a beautiful sunset near La Samanna. Picked us up in Grande Case and for two hours we laughed, relaxed, and enjoyed some wine. Got a much better sense of the island geography. It was a windy evening and somewhat rough surf but felt safe while having so much fun and learning about St. Martin/Sint Maarten.

In October, I booked with Blue Pelican boat charters for a 4-6pm sunset cruise.  I specifically picked this company because they left at 4pm.  A few days prior to our cruise, the company contacted me and said their boat was broken.  They rebooked us on a sunset cruise with Captain Jo Boat Charter; however, that cruise was leaving at 5pm.  We actually left at 5:15 as the captain had to clean the boat from the earlier charter that arrived into the marina at 5:02pm. I was assured by the owner of Pelican that we would have open bar with lots of snacks and chocolates.  We had open bar and potato chips.  And, the sun sets about 5:30pm, so a lot of our cruise was in the darkness.   I really wanted a 4pm departure to have more daylight so our 79 year old Nana could see the island from a boat.  The captain from Captain Joe Boat Charter could not have been nicer, but I was so disappointed with the darkness and the snacks.  I would NOT recommend Pelican to anyone due to the bait and switch - my guess is - they got a 9-5pm all day charter and could not accommodate us.  When I emailed the owner of Blue Pelican to tell him how disappointed I was - there were no snacks except a tiny bag of potato chips and no chocolates (Blue Pelican promises quality snacks on their website), he replied with, "You were offered the chocolates but declined them."  That is completely false. Blue Pelican's owner said it was lost in translation. Our boat captain spoke flawless English. Do not use this company.

A truly incredible experience with Captain V! If you are looking to live an amazing day throught the carribean waters, do not hesitate blue pelican is your charter. Great service, polite, kind, profesional and being local to the area he will take you to best places unrichable to the most. Absolutely recommemdable!

We spent a geat day with JJ (Jean-Jacques) on his boat around Saint-Martin. A long and pleasant day with delicious lunch at Pinel Island and fun activities as paddle at Tintamarre Island. JJ is a first-class captain, he is very professional and secure and adapt the program according to the client requests.

We had a party of seven, and we wanted to snorkel the best spots on the French side of the island. We went to Tantamare Island, a shipwreck, Green Kay of Orient Beach and Creole Island. The water was so much clearer than off the beaches and the fish and turtles were incredible. The son of the owner was our captain and he was outstanding! All of my group said it was the best snorkeling day of the trip. The boat is perfect, too! Book them!

We had a great afternoon with Capt V snorkeling around SXM! The boat is beautiful and fun. Capt V was nice, knowledgeable, professional and fun. Top notch service. We had the best day of our vacation. Highly recommend.
