    What to Expect
The luxury catamaran makes two stops along Seven Mile Beach for passenger pickups; make sure to check in at the beach front dive shop before your departure.

Wade in to the water and climb the few steps to the waiting catamaran, then sail down the coast of Seven Mile Beach. The boat is headed for two snorkel stops, the first at the USS Kittiwake, a submarine that sunk off the coast of Grand Cayman in 2011. Once the boat anchors nearby, get help with your provided snorkel gear and jump in. You can swim right over top the huge submarine, sunk in 60 feet (18 meters) of water, the top of which is just 15 feet (4.5 meters) of water. You'll see an unusual ecosystem of underwater plants and animals taking over the hulking ship.

Stop next at a coral reef, where you'll dive in again for another spin in the clear, shallow water. Get some inside info from your guides on the types of living coral and fish you might see.

Climb back on boat for your ride back, and unwind with a drink from the cash bar on the way back to the beach. Soak up the sun and scenery before getting dropped off back at the beach.

The catamaran launched from the Westin beach which was very convenient for us. Expensive little tour which did not include any lunch or even an open bar. I guess the laws are different here than other parts of the Caribbean. We've done catamaran trips in...More

We weren't expecting much on this one because we didn't have great weather. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and checked in quickly. I was happy with how nice the boat was; it was clean and well cared for - which you don't always...More

My husband and I did this snorkeling tour from the Westin 7-mile Beach. It was a 2.5 hour trip from beach and back. We left the Westin, picked up a few passengers at a nearby hotel, and then went to the Kittwake. The Kittiwake was...More

I'm torn on this rating because the crew was excellent, and they certainly took care of us. However, it really doesn't make sense to snorkel the Kittiwake, because it's way too deep to make for a good snorkel. The reef was better because it was...More

This was an exceptional excursion. Dan, Micael and Reuben were extremely professional and provided us with needed safety information as well as helpful tips for snorkeling. On our sail back, my husband's cap flew off and they heard him say how much it meant to...More

There are groups that dive the Kittiwake, but the way this trip is structured, I don't think they would allow it.

They do meet the cruise ships. They have schedules listed on their website. Some dives are am, and some are pm. You can book on the website, or email or call them to arrange it all. I suggest going to their website at... More
