About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:

- renrutkram0 contributionsCayman amazing experience. This tour was amazing! Nikki was able to show us the island and took us to local food establishments. Would highly recommend!!Written 11 January 2024
- cmutiff0 contributionsGreat walking food tour for a large group with kidsGreat tour! We requested a shorter walking tour as we had a lot of people and also some younger kids (ages 4-13). Nikki was great and very accommodating. The kids had a blast and the parents had the chance to chat and also do a rum tasting. It was the perfect port tour and the food was great! Highly recommend this food tour if you’re on Disney cruise as they are able to get you from the port and get you back with plenty of time.Written 5 January 2024
- Robinsonfoxy0 contributionsGreat family excursionNiki was a great tour guide from the time of pick up till the end of our tour. She was absolutely wonderful, safe driver, very professional, knowledgeable about her island and very friendly. Thank you for send us too her and having such great employees. The van was super clean very well maintained and had more than enough room for our familyWritten 24 November 2023

- samanthamI9215WL0 contributionsJust Do It!This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. We were blessed enough to get Nicky as our tour guide. She was so accommodating and knowledgeable, we couldn't ask for a better representative of the island. Singh's was phenomenal... get the goat, you won't regret it. The gallery was amazing, beautiful art, a must see. Nicky was flexible and got us to all our intended stops. We didn't feel rushed or overwhelmed. It felt like connecting with an old friend who knows A LOT about the island. The patties at Tortuga were hot and fresh, the Coco bread, warm and delish. I feel like we saw and did so much and I'm so grateful we were able to take the tour. Special shoutout to Mischke at Cayman Spirits... he was all around awesome. I ABSOLUTELY recommend that everyone take this tour.Written 30 August 2022
- David O0 contributionsSuperb tasting of local cuisineThis underrated tour explores the many diverse ways for presentation of local cuisine. From curried lobster and goat to smoked brisket to lionfish to rum cakes to exclusive rum tasting at unique distillery. You will eat a good fill !! Go light calories beforehand. Excellent cordial guide like Nikki makes for even greater atmosphere. Relaxed and fun. The two of us had a wonderful time. Can accommodate big groups. Email ahead or call for extra info. Tour started at 10am, allow 3 to 3.5 hours. Vegetarians welcome.Written 7 March 2018
- Ralph L0 contributionsA taste of Grand CaymanThis was a great tour to sample the non-tourist eating spots on Grand Cayman. Good variety of food stops. They should drop the gallery tour. Our tour guide, Niki was great.Written 16 February 2018
- Tammy D0 contributionsFantastic Tour worth every centWe scheduled this to have something to break up the week. We loved everywhere we went. I never wold have tried goat or Lionfish if it wasn’t part of the tour. Nikki was great giving history of island including her own insights and feelings. Felt like she was a friend when she dropped us. It was worth the time, we spent more than 3 hours and the money to do this. No dinner needed that evening.Written 5 February 2018
- jaimeevans12160 contributionsOne of the best things we did while in Grand CaymanIf you are visiting Grand Cayman, put the culinary tour at the top of your list. This is an absolute must while visiting the island. Our tour guide was the best! She was knowledgeable about the island and had a great personality! Our tour started off at Singh's which made excellent curry conch Roti. It was delicious!! We stopped at Smokies which is a great BBQ place. The owner, Sara, served us breadfruit chicken tacos. We had never had breadfruit before but after that stop we ordered it almost everywhere! The Cayman distillery was a blast! Our tour guide arranged for a private tour and tasting. We purchased rum and some great spice mixes and hot sauce. Our favorite spot was Vivo where we had a Lionfish sandwich overlooking the water. It was an amazing experience! Gelato and Co was our tasty dessert with delicious flavors. We decided on Soursop and Mango. The tour was great because it gave you a glimpse into some hidden gems of the island. The biggest piece of advice I would give is come hungry! We thought portions would be smaller but each stop is a full meal!!Written 5 November 2017

My wife and I had an incredible experience on the Cayman’s Classic Food Tasting & Cultural Experience, all thanks to our amazing guide, Nikki! From the seamless pick-up to the thoughtful inclusions, everything was top-notch.
We kicked off at Singh’s Roti Shop, where we enjoyed delicious authentic flavors. A visit to the National Gallery added a cultural touch, with a private guided tour that offered insight into the island’s vibrant art scene.
The tour included everything we could want— lunch, bottled water, dessert and even a few alcoholic drinks at our tour of the distillery. Plus, the comfortable van made it easy to relax and take in the sights, and we were returned to our hotel without any hassle. This tour is perfect for foodies and culture lovers alike. Nikki made the experience truly unforgettable! Highly recommend! Incredible!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We had the best time ever with our tour guide Nikki! The food was fantastic, we had 4 different stops: two food related, one distillery and an art museum. Each stop was unique and offered history about the island through a locals point of view. It was an amazing tour and I recommended scheduling it earlier in your trip!! Again, Nikki was one of the nicest people ever and truly made the experience that much better.

We love to take food/cultural tours when we travel (and we travel a lot). This tour was exceptional. Let’s start with the vans. I admit, I was concerned about being in a van for a few hours. These vans were comfortable and had USB charging ports. Big kuddos to the owners who upgraded the vans recently for comfort and safety.
Nikki, our tour guide, was bubbly/helpful/energetic about her island. We did a roti stop (spectacular) followed by a small mom/pop place with fish/rice/juice. There was also a gelato stop. It was a lot of food…but we overcame;). The island tour and stop at the National Gallery allowed us to see what we would not have seen on our own.
We would highly recommend this tour. Thank you Nikki for your hospitality and we will see you next time we return!
Oh! The rum tasting was also interesting and tasty

DO NOT BOOK! We booked this more than a month in advance and were notified at 11:30pm that the booking was cancelled because they were over booked. There is absolutely no way they were over booked back on September 9th for the October 17th tour. But we got cancelled the night before? Less than 12 hours before the tour. This is crazy and the worst experience I've ever had. I tried calling as soon as we got the message and they wouldn't even pick up to talk to me about it.

We do acknowledge that there was a late cancellation in your case and apologize for the inconvenience. However, we contacted you on 13th October in attempt to reschedule your tour, but did not receive a reply until late in the day on 17th October which was the day prior to your tour.
The issue with overbooking was as a result of a system upgrade where all booking platforms had not yet been integrated. This has now been completed and we don’t expect this issue in the future.
We are also not sure how you can determine whether we were overbooked or not. We provide both public and private experiences for individuals and corporate groups and many times are booked several months in advance.
It is regrettable that you were not able to do the tour you booked, but we also note you received a full refund.

Please note that you are required to have a group of 4 people in your booking, or your tour will be canceled. After a well planned trip before arriving in Grand Cayman, I found myself waiting at my pick-up location with no tour in sight. My tour was fully confirmed the day before, and I arrived on time. I called 10 minutes after the scheduled pick up time and 20 minutes after the time they ask you to be ready only to be told that they had sent a cancelation after the confirmation because I was a single person and needed to book for a group of 4. This was nowhere upfront. I believed I would be joining a tour of cruise passengers and guests from other hotels, but that was not to be.

Hi Brandi,
It is unfortunate that you were not able to experience the tour, however to clarify what we communicated is that the tour requires a minimum of 4 to operate. Tour operators normally need a minimum number of participants. Unfortunately you were the only person booked on that day and this can sometimes occur during slow season. Also, note we do not require a single booking to have a minimum of 4. There is no issue with a single person booking. Once the total number of participants is at least 4 on on the day the tour can operate. The cancellation notice was also sent several hours prior to the tour start time although we are not sure what time you may have noticed the cancellation notification. We also note you were given a full refund.

I do food tours in most places I travel and this one was the best in terms of quality I've ever done. Nikki was our guide for the experience and she made this one of the most outstanding travel experiences I've had ever. With Nikki it felt like we had a really close family friend who took us to some of her favorite, off the radar places. The type of places you'd never go to on your own as an out-of-towner but secretly hope you run across. She introduced us to local roti (oh my god!!!), Italian gelato (owned by Italians who relocated to GC), a local distillery and one of my favorite stops on our tour, the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands where we were immersed in the remarkable, lovely pieces from local artists. I can't wait to go back and take this tour again. Do yourself a favor: book this tour and request Nikki. It will enhance your GC experience and open your eyes to the hidden gems on the island. Thank you Nikki!! Five months later I still think about that day and soooo miss the food.

During a lunch on the island, my partner and I met the tour guide Nikki who spoke with us and then gave us her business card for the tour. That same night while checking out another restaurant she had recommended, we ended up checking to see if there was any tour availability the next day and lucky for us there was! From the very beginning, spending time with Nikki felt like we had reconnected with an old friend and she was so open and willing to answer every single question we (and the other couple) had during the tour about the island as a whole and the food we were experiencing.
The amount of food and treats provided was well worth the cost, as well as the time spent and the experience as a whole. We got to experience restaurants that we may not have found or felt comfortable going to on our own, and the entire tour enhanced our trip experience. We would absolutely come back and do it again.

Be careful - they do not offer refunds. We were looking forward to this tour after seeing good reviews. Unfortunately, another water-based tour originally scheduled for different day was rescheduled for the same time (out of our control). Went to cancel this one and was told to contact owner for a refund. He agreed but I was called shortly after and informed they have a policy that requires customers to contact more than 24 hours for refund (we called 23 hours before the tour, right after the other tour notified us of the change). No refund. Very disappointing especially since this tour is more than double the price of the water excursion. Buyer beware of this customer service. Hope you don’t have unexpected change in plans. We will make sure our friends look elsewhere for tours in the future and this company enjoys our $292 U.S.

Hi Jeff,
As discussed with you our website clearly states the policy is that tickets purchased are non-refundable, but we instead offer e-certificates which do not expire and can be transferred to family members or friends. However, there are situations where we do grant refunds regardless, but this is subject to our discretion based on circumstances. After discussing the matter with my staff and understanding your situation more clearly it was evident your request did not qualify for a refund. Note any reference made to a 48 hour policy (not 24 hours) is with regard to general industry standards, but not specifically our policy which is clearly stated on our website as mentioned.
We cannot be held accountable for a tour you booked with another operator which they cancelled and decided to reschedule to the same time as the event you booked with us. We did not cancel your tour and you clearly made a decision to choose an alternative tour which was the reason for the last minute cancellation. This is not a circumstance beyond your control as you still had a choice as to which tour you would take. While we do understand your plans were changed due to another tour operator's mistake this is not a reasonable basis for a refund especially given the time at which you requested the refund.
With regard to our customer service we believe our reviews from persons who actually did events with us speaks for itself. We consistently offer a service at a quality level which is unmatched in the Cayman Islands.
As already discussed your e-certificate is valid for any future date where there is availability. We wish you all the best for the rest of your trip and hope you understand why we cannot offer you a refund this time based on your circumstance.

You have not truly experienced the Cayman Islands until you have gone on this tour. My husband, 18 year old son and I went on this tour during our most recent vacation. Nikki was our tour guide and she was simply magnificent! Nikki is a wealth of knowledge and made every stop unforgettable. She introduced us to so many new and fascinating foods. I highly recommend skipping breakfast before you go, so you don’t miss a single drink or morsel on this tour. It is that good! And I would be remiss if I didn’t note that Moses at the Cayman Distillery Company is a must see attraction on this tour. He loves what he does, has more energy than most anyone else I know and will entertain you every second of that stop. Moses is an evangelist and he happily converted the three of us to fans of Seven Fathoms. I’m personally committed to bringing these incredible spirits to my state of Indiana. The stop at the art museum was amazing, too. We made great memories on this trip and I have no doubt you will too.

If you do one thing on Grand Cayman other than the beach… this is The One!
Bonus: this is a fabulous tour of you have teens. The stops are interesting and your teen gets to eat at every one. A sure way to keep them engaged and off of their phones!
Double bonus: our group included a vegan and one of us has a severe food allergy. Everyone was accommodated with ease and grace.
Our tour guide was Niki and she is awesome. She’s a native to GC and her love and appreciation for the culture were the things that made the tour special.
The tour takes you to local restaurants and food provides who use local ingredients, a rare find on this island where 90% of the food is imported.
Niki is clearly appreciated by the owners of the places she takes you. You know because the meals are delicious (and huge!) and the service is warm and caring.
Would do it again next time we’re on the island, just to soak up more of Niki’s local wisdom.
