        Great family trip.
Great crew. Beautiful trip. Private charter is the way to go. They really listened to what we wanted to do.

        Amazing!
This excursion was the best we have ever done. 10/10 recommend to anyone considering this! Captain Bryan’s crew was amazing with the kids. Everyone was so kind and knowledgeable about the stingrays and starfish! Do this excursion!

        It was ok.
Captain Bryan’s tour was fine. All of the guides were very nice and the meeting point easy to find. We did the three stop tour and Here is what I wish I had known. Most of the tour is taken up with the bus ride to the dock and boat trip out to the barrier reef. The fruit punch is electric pink sugar water from the store. They give you 25 mins to snorkel which goes by very quickly. Then it is a short boat ride to stingray city and there are roughly a dozen other boats surrounding the sand bar where the stingrays gather. You have about 25 mins there and the guides will “catch” the stingrays and bring them to you for pictures. Finally, they take you to a point where there are supposedly sea stars. We didn’t find any but The guides went someplace and came back with a few for folks to hold… not totally sure they were actually alive. Also several jelly fish in this area. If I had to do it all over again I would definitely choose a tour without starfish point and with more snorkeling. I would also try to find a smaller tour with a faster boat or a catamaran where you could relax during the hour boat ride.

        Snorkeling close to the town
We had booked this excursion on our cruise ship and were looking forward to it as it was a beautiful day. The staff were great and very helpful However the two sites we visited were close to the town and the snorkeling was meager some fish nothing spectacular. The wreck was interesting but again not in pristine waters we expecting. I would have like to cruise farther and gone to just one place with more opportunity to see wildlife.

Sail on the Buccaneer and Enjoy the Day
Great crew and wonderful sites. First you get Stingray City. The crew hold the rays so you can enjoy them, and great pictures from Fred are available. I thought we would get only 1 or 2 pics but Fred took 24 great shots and forwarded them for us to download at home. Then off to the coral reef for great snorkeling. They gave us about an hour on the coral which was abundant with fish and numerous corals then off to Star Fish Beach. The Captain always got in close, and the snorkeling equipment was new and of professional quality,

        Stingray City
We took a trip with Captain Bob and AJ on January 13, 2020. They took us to stringray city. They were incredibly informative, friendly, and fun! I knew exactly what to expect when I got into the water, and they have given me an experience I will not soon forget. Both of them were very nice and helpful, and we enjoyed our day aboard their ship! Cannot wait to come back and do it again!

        Great experience!
We booked this on our own, and got great service! Our cruise ship docked at a different place and it didn't cause any problems. The tour company kept themselves informed and were waiting at the new location.Everything was run efficiently so we got the most time at each stop. The Buccaneer was a very comfortable ride and the location of the snorkeling was truly amazing. Stingray City was great as was Starfish point. Our tour got a late start due to the cruise ship docking at a different location, but we weren't shorted any of our time on the water. I felt it was run very well and it was a very enjoyable tour.

Private Excursion Changed the Day of our Plans
We booked a private excursion with Captain Bryan's back in March 2019 and arrived in Cayman Islands for our December 2019 excursion only to discover they moved us to the Buccaneer with 46 other people. We waited over an hour for them to come get us since the booking was changed. We did have fun snorkling, at Stingray City and seeing the Starfish but it was rush compared to if we had done our private excursion. Good news is Captain Bryan's did tell us they would give us a full refund... thus I'm giving them the "average" review... otherwise it would be lower. Praying we do get our refund.

        Great Time on the Buccaneer
We arrived on the MSC Seaside and booked the Reef, Stingray City and Starfish Island thru Island Marketing and were greeted at the port and transported to Capt Bryan’s Buccaneer Catamaran. We traveled with my son and family so 4 adults and 3 toddlers! Capt Jake and Andrew and AJ were fantastic with instructions and making sure everyone was safe as the winds had picked up and they made sure everyone had a blast! There were only 23 guests so it was very personalized and the crew got in the water and held up the sting rays so AJ could take the pictures! This was the highlight of our cruise and we will do this tour next time we are in Grand Cayman! Highly recommend doing a excursion with Capt Bryan’s.

        Great trip
The short snorkeling trip was great and breathtaking for a short visit. Stingray city is really fun. Even when very crowded, there are plenty of rays to observe and hold. The starfish beach was okay, but it’s purely an add on bonus to the other parts of the trip. The captain, mate and photographer were great. Glad we did it!

The highlight of our Caribbean cruise trip!
My husband and I, and two friends decided to splurge on a private trimaran sail and snorkel trip while we were on Grand Cayman for a day. We chose Capt. Bryan, and can't say enough about how fantastic the day was. First, their booth/table was easy to locate when we got off the ship, and our instructions were clear about when/where to be to start the adventure. Capt. Jake and his "first mate" Dolan made the entire experience unforgettable. They took the four of us to the north side of the island, which is typically less crowded and has better snorkeling than other parts. (I'm a former scuba diver, and 35 years ago dove the North Wall, so I can say this from personal experience). The reefs we visited on this trip were vivid, clear, loaded with fish, other marine life, coral, and sea fans. We snorkeled one reef, then went to Stingray City, where Jake spent personal time with each of us, showing us how to "pet" the very tame rays, gave each of us a "back massage" with their undersides, and provided food so we could feed them. I should note that other, larger groups were around, but none were getting the personalized attention the four of us had. Our last snorkel stop was equally private and gorgeous. Dolan also took numerous pictures of us in and out of the water (using one of our cell phones--see pictures). On the return trip to port, Jake and Dolan lifted the sail. They played music, and provided (non-alcoholic) drinks and water (we did bring along a six-pack of beer, which was allowed). It was truly one of the happiest days we've had, and we all agree that it was well worth the expense! Highly recommend this (and Jake and Dolan).

Captain Bryan, Captain Jake and Crew are simply the Best
Last year we enjoyed a fantastic memorable cruise on the “Buccaneer” with Captain Bryan. Today our family including small children were safely navigated through pristine waters with Captain Jake at the helm. It was a wonderful private cruise away from big crowds. If you are looking for a friendly, comfortable, safe, cruise with Captains and Crews who are very knowledgeable and really care, this is a great company to choose.

We did the Sting Ray, Snorkel and Starfish beach at Grand Cayman. The tour was conducted by Captain Bryan’s Tour company and this was my second time during this same excursion with the same company. However my friend and I (and many other guests we spoke to) were very disappointed.

The Tour was conducted was a small boat operator including Captain Joel, Angel and a photographer Chin. All these individuals were rude and were addressing to most guests in a very rude manner. They also gave instructions about each spot in a very rude manner as-if talking down versus treating guests with requests. The water on board was in sealed bottled but had a terrible chemical like taste. At the sand bar when we were holding the string ray they made sure that other family friends cannot take pictures as they wanted their photographer Chin to take picture. Our friends tried taking a picture and when we looked towards them both Chin and Captain Joel screamed at me and my friend and tried to walk away with the sting ray if we did not take pictures with them. Later once we were on the boat they sold the picture at a staggering $60. Yes $60 for the digital picture. If you declined the rude photographer Chin made rude and nasty comments. On the way back we were all disgusted and when we discussed our experience with others who were on other boats we were told that on the same tour operated by others they got the photographs for $20. Overall a rip-off and a very bad experience.

I wanted to share this experience with you as both me and my guest felt very disrespected and just wanted to get off the boat as quickly as we good. This kind of rude behavior and money-making tricks is simply unacceptable. My last time on this same excursion with Captain Bryan’s we had a different boat operator, Jose and he his team were so polite and made the experience so much fun for all of us that I decided to do this excursion again. However it was a very bad experience.

Dear Guest I am Captain Bryan. I have been in the watersports for over the last 40 years. I hand pick my staff and I personally work with them until I am satisfied with their professionalism and friendliness. I was very disturbed by your accusations as the captain Joel has worked with me for the last 6 years and we’ve had numerous raving reviews complimenting him personally on his friendliness and helpfulness. Families love him because he helps them with their children, that was one of his big compliments. He is friendly, humble, professional, and competent. I have a lot of respect for his abilities. I am not sure what went wrong that day, but it is not in keeping with the Joel that I know. I have known Angel for the last 4 years. Angel is as friendly and accommodating as one can be. You might accuse him of giving too much information but not too little. These fellows love their job, and their job is how they take care of their families. Chin is a young man who is very respectable to all, he too I have known for some time. The photos are sold for $60 for a package. Each package contains 5-9 photos depending on the size of the family. No operator on this Island would sell a package of photos for $20. $20USD is worth $16 Cayman Island Dollars. A small Whopper Combo cost $11USD here. This will allow you to appreciate how much $20usd in the Cayman Islands. Our policy has always been to allow guests to take their own photos who wish to do so. In fact, the captain and the crew will even take the guests’ camera/phone and take photos for them, which they do on a regular basis. This is why we are so alarmed to hear this complaint. I was also alarmed to hear that the captain was rude with the briefing and talking down to the guests. How do you be rude in giving a briefing which explains the environment and what the expectations should be, the dos and the don’ts and the safety procedures? I am confused. I personally pick up cases of water in the morning from Foster’s, our main supermarket which comes from Miami Florida USA. This water is brought in on a weekly basis by shipping containers. I transport it to the boat, and it is put on ice for the customers when they arrive. I asked the crew who drinks the same water as you would have, and they informed me that there were no complaints about the water and they themselves found no faults with the water as they drink it on a daily basis. We are in the process of investigating our tours two weeks prior to this complaint and we are emailing the customers to find out if they have the same experience you did. It would have been much easier if we knew your name so we could look through our log because we take any complaint seriously. I can only say to any potential customer that is reading your complaint, please look at our reviews and you will see that the same staff has received raving reviews from other guests. I close by saying I am sorry that you did not enjoy what we had to offer but in our search to investigate your allegations, you may also receive an email from us requesting information as we are just going to go do our lists and email all our customers for the last two week prior to this complaint.

Great! I HIGHLY recommend booking with Capt. Bryan! We had an awesome 4 hour trip on a beautiful catamaran, with a helpful and very nice crew, including a photographer. We booked last minute, preferring this excursion over the one offered from our cruise company (Disney). For comparison: a 2,5 hour excursion to the same stopping points booked via our cruise line would have cost us THREE times much as the 4hour tour with Capt. Bryan! Again: book with Capt. Bryan, it is great!

The first say how professional captain Bryan’s team was he explained to us what we could expect. The time in each area was just enough. Snorkeling was fantastic. Petting the rays with the family memories will last a lifetime even starfish Alley was great. I would highly recommend Captain Bryan‘s excursion he is generous with his knowledge and his staff are very professional. I also liked the complementary water and soda.

Just ok. We took this excursion to avoid the cruise ship crowds and that part was successful….but with everything else it was just ok. We went to a snorkel spot first and it was just a quick 20 minutes without a lot of fish around. Next we went to sting ray city and the water was a bit rough but definitely the highlight of the tour. Spent about 15 minutes in the stingray city and got a stingray to “hug” us and then went to the starfish area. Wasn’t allowed to use the snorkel gear and there was literally just three starfish you could see. Then we went back after ten minutes. Wish I didn’t spend as much as I did on this excursion. I’d pass on this one.

My family of 5 had a reservation for the 3-stop stingray city tour and despite calling and emailing this operation the day before and the day of the pickup (2/21/24) we were left stranded and received no communication from this operation. We waited 2 hours before we called to say they were sorry but no one would be picking us up today. After checking with several other operators, we were told this operator is unreliable. To my fellow travelers, beware! I am waiting now for a full refund on this rather unpleasant adventure. There are 3 crusie ships in port at the same time in Georgetown and they contributed to this fiasco. We went with another more reliable operation for tomorrow. We understand the cruise ships come in Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so Friday may be a clear for us. Cheers!

Our ship was late getting into port, but they were able to accommodate us which was great. We went out to snorkel, and the captain was very aware that near the barrier the sea was rough so kept us away from the rough water. After snorkeling, we went to Stingray City. They made sure everyone got an opportunity to pet, kiss and get a massage. After that, we went to Starfish Point. I really appreciated that the captain made sure that we got back to our boat on time. Thanks for a great afternoon!!

The boat was pretty crowded which delayed getting in out of the water. The crew were all really friendly and explained things well. They were there to help at all times. One person took in some salt water and panicked and the crew jumped in to help her. The snorkel gear was poor quality with no water lock on the snorkel. Combined with the rough water it was a little tricky to keep water out of the top of the snorkel. We made three stops as advertised and spent 15-20 minutes at each stop. All of the locations were quite busy. It was a fun trip to take in the AM we left on time at 900am and were back to the port around 1 or 115pm. I’d go again but would bring my own snorkel.

Take the time to have this experience because you'll probably never have the chance anywhere else. We took a tour to the beach and got out to find dozens of beautiful starfish. You can pick them up but don't lift them out of the water because you will harm them. When you hold them you feel them start to bend toward your hand. Such a unique experience.

So I made a mistake and booked our tour for the week after and called wondering where our pickup was… Captain Bryan was SO NICE about my mistake and arranged for us to get on the next trip that day!! He even picked us up from our hotel which wasn’t on the listed pickups even though the error was entirely my fault.

The tour itself was AMAZING. I forgot the names of the boat staff but they were so helpful and accommodating. We got to hold a stingray, kiss it, and get a stingray back massage! We saw so many starfish. The snorkeling was amazing. They even took our go pro diving under to take video of a lobster and pointed out a lion fish and pulled up a conch for us to hold and look at! We even sailed on the ride back so we could relax and lounge on the boat!

So grateful to captain Bryan and his staff for helping me not ruin our trip with my mistake. Would have been so upset to have missed this. 10/10 would 100% recommend!!

We had scheduled our tour with Captain Bryans. But when we arrived at the boat dock, we were apparently changed to a different tour company called Aquarius.
Our tour did not run on time. The boat was delayed upon the bus's arrival at the dock by about 15 to 30 minutes.
We also arrived 1.5 hrs past the scheduled tour time. (Total time from checking in to arriving back at the cruise terminal was 4.5 hrs).
The entire tour seemed disorganized. The captain and first mate did not seem to have worked together before.
On previous tours to Stingray City, there was more opportunity to feed the stingrays. On this trip, we were given one piece of squid to feed them. It was not until later, when most passengers were back on the boat, a large bag of squid was pulled out and then all the stingrays came around to feed.
There was limited communication between the crew and passengers.

The tour group did was it stated it was going to do. But was not exceptional otherwise and arrived 1.5 hrs late back to the cruise terminal with no communication to the passengers.
