She had tons of tips and guidance to turn something that scared me into such a fun experience! I also randomly asked to learn butterfly stroke and she helped me there as well! I am 38 and have always been scared of trying butterfly in public. I now swim butterfly laps at my public pool! I hope to stay in touch with Kara and sign up for an open water swim now. She was an incredibly patient, competent, encouraging and fun coach. I always looked forward to and thoroughly enjoyed our sessions. Hopefully the borders will re-open soon and others can experience this too!Written 4 August 2021

I joined a group swim class to learn some techniques for open sea swimming. Kara is an excellent teacher, she is experienced, patient and very encouraging. She believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself
