It was an awesome experience. We heard about the tour from someone at the dive shop and decided to check it out; I'm glad we did! Nick and Folksy were very friendly and knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the island. The horses were well-trained and clearly well taken care of, although my wife had a bit of a battle of wills with hers! Nick showed her how to properly control the horse, making it a funny memory rather than anything that took away from the experience. The tour largely takes place on the horse preserve/sanctuary that Nick runs, so it was really cool to see the different horses and learn about their lineage. Hopefully you'll get lucky and meet Monster, who is a beautiful horse despite the name. I can't recommend this tour enough, we're looking forward to doing it again someday. But just remember to wear sunscreen- it's a rainforest tour but the best (breathtaking) views are at the top of the hill exposed to the sun. Dab on some sunscreen and you'll be glad you went.

Nick was excellent and knowledgeable of the area. My boyfriend and I had a great time and learned about the horse's behavior and the plants on the land. It was a fun learning experience, and the hoses are beautiful and friendly.

Highly recommend this unique experience. Excellent communication from Nick (and Folksy). Beautiful healthy horses and unique moonlit trails that wind through woods and open pasture.

We had a great experience with Nick. The horses were very healthy and well behaved! We were very happy that he was able to accommodate us as advanced riders and didn't just trust us at our word but asked for proof lol.

Nick and his apprentices were absolutely a delight, so friendly and nice and nick5 is a real cowboy who loves his animals. he helps not one but both other local horse businesses on island as well as trains and shoes horses for the island. the tour itself was so informative and nice. we did a dinner at night on a hill side overlooking a beautiful view with catered food from his lovely wife and oh it was sooo decadent! mouthwatering food, scenery, a great break from life to enjoy these majestic animals on a mountainside and spend it with good people like nick and loved ones is what vacation is all about. Nick is a Legen I Highly recommend!

Nick knows his horses well and has many rescued animals from dogs, to horses and even cattle. We felt very safe in his hands and learned alot about the foliage in the area as we enjoyed a gentle ride through the pastures. We even were lucky enough to enjoy a fresh passionfruit at the end of our trail ride. So refreshing and delicious! Highly recommend Nick and his company. He genuinely cares for the animals. A great way to support the animals and have fun at the same time.

What an amazing experience! Nick is a patient and thorough guide. He shared a ton of information about the land, the trees and plants, and the animals around the area. We rode under the full moon and Folksy took a silhouette photo of us on the horses with the moon above us. What a treasure! They also rescue a variety of animals. These are incredibly special people and they provide a fun and unique experience!

Nik was great and very knowledgeable about the area. I really enjoyed tasting the different fruits along the ride. Was a great experience and would recommend to all levels of riders.

Nicks was amazing! He brings you to areas no tourist could go on their own. He provides you information and also lets you taste the fruits right from the trees. He has much knowledge on the horses and the land. I will definitely be coming back and doing the day time tour for sure!

Lovely scenery and attentive guide! We had a lovely time. Had great views from a hill top and learned about flora, fauna and history.

Beautiful and fun. Very private and intimate tour. The guide is awesome, kind, fun, and friendly. Have to do it on a full moon to see anything, but it's so worth it. You spend most of the trip in the dark mostly following the horse ahead of you, but when you get to the clearing above everything, the view is gorgeous and like nothing else you'll see on the island. Horses are very friendly and do what you need them to.

Nicolas runs THE BEST horseback tour on St Croix and in the Caribbean. I've ridden with him a few times and have always had an absolute blast. His horses are incredibly well behaved, he has amazing control of his horses, and he is very gentle, both with horses and patrons. Will ABSOLUTELY be riding with him again!
