With the Beryl just having passed USVI, we weren’t certain what conditions we’d get. It was windy and a little choppy, but the crew did a fantastic job of getting us around into beautiful and calm coves. From the moment Murray scooped us up at the dock and Casey gave us the safety briefing, until they dropped us back off at the dock, this was a 5-Star outing. This was the absolute HIGHLIGHT of our St. Thomas trip. Murray captained the boat, grilled some amazing chicken, and kept great conversation the entire time. Casey acted as tour guide, bar tender, and “cruise director.” Both of them worked together to make it happen. Our experience with Max Charters was the highlight of our trip. We booked this full day sail and snorkel for our 18 year wedding anniversary and it didn’t disappoint. Captain Murray and First Mate Casey are exceptional and wonderful human beings. Getting to know them made the experience even better. My wife and I never snorkeled before but under Casey’s watchful eye and patience, we were able to enjoy the underwater sights without feeling scared. Surprising how much we swam that day. With the boat only being 8 of us (a family of 4, my wife and I plus the captain and Casey) it was an intimate excursion that was worth every penny. The food was delicious with seemingly no shortage of snacks and drink. I would book another trip in a heartbeat. Thank you Murray, Casey and Max Charters for the wonderful memories made that day.

Best excursion I've ever been on!! Absolutely stunning views, amazing snorkeling spots and just fell in love with Casey & Maury (sorry, I'm probably spelling that wrong). They serve you snacks, lunch & all the drinks you want throughout the day. I recommend this charter 110% hands down. Casey even took pictures throughout the day & sent them to us. Can't speak highly enough about our crew.

As usual, great day sailing with Max Charters. Our captain and first mate Casey were great, and we actually sailed rather than motored most of the day. Casey snorkeled with us pointing out things we otherwise would not have seen(octopus). Good food, good drinks and the best sailing on the island.

Our family had originally planned a different excursion on our cruise stop in St. Thomas, but after stumbling upon Max Charters online, we decided to switch our plans to this. We have zero regrets!!! Our family included grandparents, Mom and Dad, our pre-teen son, and our seven-year-old son. Finding excursions that held everyone's interest or that everyone in our family could reasonably participate in was challenging. Casey and Captain Jeff knew how to cater to everyone. They were extremely likable, led great conversations, and were fantastic hosts. They not only got my youngest son (who is Deaf and has some developmental differences) to relax and be playful, but they also got my pre-teen son interested in sailing! Both of my boys loved the pizza from Pizza Pi. Mom, Dad, and the grandparents happily shared one large pizza, and the boys split another large. There was plenty for all of us. We expected leftovers from the boy's large pizza, but they fought over who got the last slice. It was delicious! Christmas Cove was great! We saw stingrays, starfish, and various fish along the coral rocks. We borrowed snorkel gear from the boat, and it all worked great. Captain Jeff taught my oldest son a little about sailing and gave him some hands-on experience that made my son's top moment on our cruise! Casey was very attentive to all of us. One second, she would make sure we all had a drink in our hand, and the next, she would be helping my youngest safely move around the boat. She also moved around taking pictures and sent me every photo she took. This allowed all of our family to relax and focus solely on enjoying the experience and time with one another. At the end of our family vacation, we each shared our favorite part of the vacation, which included one week at Disney and one week on a cruise ship. Our time with Max Charters made everyone's number one spot. Thank you so much, Captain Jeff and Casey, for an unforgettable experience!!!

Captain Bob and Kasey were exceptional!!!! Captain Bob kept us on course and was very friendly and shared amazing stories of his life as a Captain! Kasey tended to our ever need - with having our drinks always full to showing us the best spots while snorkeling! The lunch was very fresh and delicious as well!! Also, with this excursion being a maximum of 6 people that can book, you truly get an experience that is focused on you! Highly recommend!!

Fantastic day sailing and snorkeling! We saw several sea turtles, barracuda, colorful fish, and had a delicious lunch.

This trip was awesome! Cayce was a great guide at our snorkeling sites. We saw 7 turtles at one of the sites. Captain Bob was great at getting the boat to the best locations. A delicious grilled chicken lunch was served.

Best day on the water! Everything about this boat trip was amazing!! The food, drinks, snorkeling, entertainment…. All….Incredible!!

This is one trip you NEED to take if you want a great time! 1st mate Casey is super fun, very knowledgeable, and VERY friendly with children and adults! She’s in the water with you snorkeling, get their famous rum punch for you, and then puts on the chef hat to make snacks and lunch for all!! And she never forgets to take pictures of your day! Her and the captain on board are a great team and work seamlessly together to make your day one you won’t soon forget!!

We had an amazing time on our sailing trip. Casey and Aaron were fantastic and catered to us the entire time. This is by far one of my favorite things we did on our trip! We will definitely be back to sail with them!

Fantastic time!! My 16 year old son and I happened upon Max Charters because what 16 year old boy died t like pizza? And we could snorkel and enjoy his first sailboat ride? Bingo!! It hit on all cylinders. Captain Aaron and first mate, Casey, were great. The snorkeling was the best we had I. The islands (no lie.. been here 4x)… now, no turtles BUT we saw a beautiful octopus, what seemed like 25+ starfish and a family of stingrays!! The sailboat itself is beautiful for those who love a sailboat and Capt Aaron put the sail up for the trip home. He also told us about the history of the cove and the dark history of the neighboring islands…. So enjoyable and I highly recommend.

To say this was a terrific day would be an understatement. My friend and I happened to meet Aaron and he suggested the trip and it could not have been better. Casey (I think that is how she spells it...but forgive me if I am wrong) and Aaron were amazing and the sailing was fabulous. We saw so many critters and were given a thoughtful briefing as to how to best interact with the marine life. She swam with us to make sure everyone was safe and seeing all that there was to see. Lunch was tasty and the service was spectacular. It was like Below Deck mini and I could not recommend it more. Sooooooo much fun!!!

This full day sailing and snorkeling trip was the very best thing we did while on St. Thomas. Captain Aaron and First Mate Casey were top notch. It was so lovely being on a small sailboat with only 6 total guests. My family and I had a phenomenal day sailing and snorkeling. If we were staying longer, we would definitely do it again. We saw sea turtles, a shipwreck with all kinds of fish, heard great stories about the local history of the islands, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves above all. The food was delicious and they were able to accommodate some food allergies. I heartily recommend Max Charters and the full day sail to take full advantage of all the beauty of St. Thomas and St. John.

This was the highlight of our 10 day stay in St. Thomas. Captain Aaron and his first mate KC were exceptional hosts. They had snacks and drinks including Irish whiskey to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. It was my first time snorkeling and KC never left my side. We experienced stunning views and beautiful beaches. I would highly recommend this charter service for the time of your life
