- 808sanitab0 contributionsAwesome experienceThe sweet chocolate experience of three wonderful flavours was magical and I can’t wait to do it again. All that was missing was Willy wonka.Written 19 January 2025
- laurenr07260 contributionsWaste of time and moneyHorribly disappointing. We paid $11.20 per person for not even a ten minute “tour”. The girl giving the tour was so soft spoken, we kept saying “what?” Because the two of us in the tour couldn’t hear anything she said. We learned nothing. We tried the dark, milk, and white chocolates as they were being mixed and then were offered one tiny sample. The samplings had interesting flavor descriptions but didn’t taste like anything. This was one of our top stops in Nassau and unfortunately wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.Written 18 November 2024
- kaileyh9620 contributionsAmazing!!!As someone who doesn’t particularly like Hersey’s chocolate, or chocolate in general, I LOVED this chocolate!! It has a lovely texture and is not grossly sweet like other brands. You have to try it!Written 13 August 2024
- kairimonster0 contributionsDelicious TastingsThe tour was fun and you do get to taste a few different chocolates and make your own. My only problem really was there was no dedicated check-in spot and when we asked where to wait (since we arrived 15 min early as the email suggests), they just said "anywhere". As someone who likes to have a dedicated meeting spot for tours, it was a bit confusing and disappointing.Written 12 March 2024

- 17SharonS170 contributionsDon't Accept American Cash, No Tours AvailableCouple things I want to note for other people - 1. they do not accept American cash - every other place I have ever been in the Caribbean does, so that was a surprise. I was not able to buy anything because I don't carry my credit card off the cruise ship. 2. Toddlers are not allowed on the paid tour so I was not permitted to book in advance, but I was told there was a short walk through style tour we could do day of. When I got there in the morning, I was told those were all full for the entire day. For me, this was a waste of a walk. Hopefully it goes better for others.Written 21 February 2024
- Naya950 contributionsTasty tourIt was very interesting to learn about the history of the chocolate and to see it being made. The best part was tasting the diffrent chocolates they made. You get to make your own bar and it is a decent size. I would have given it 5 stars. I like very dark chocolate. They let you taste it but not make your own bar from it and they don't sell it. 70% is the darkest they sell.Written 28 January 2024
- h2k2mom0 contributionsChocolate class was a blast! We were the only 2 participants with Doanna as our teacher and we all laughed so much. Fabulous time! Now that we are officially chocolatiers, we need to know what shift we will be on!Written 12 January 2024
- alexturner740 contributionsIf you love chocolate...We did this tour back in 2014 when they were doing cruise ship excursions. Now they seem to be doing smaller tours booked through their website directly or through 3rd parties. We had a small tour of 8 people (4 from our family and 4 others). It was a good size for the size of the facility. On the tour, you get some explanation of the chocolate process, you get to taste white, milk, and dark chocolates. They show you how they process the chocolate and make some of their product. Then, you get to make your own chocolate treats. Our family really enjoyed it and would do it again.Written 25 November 2023
- courtneymD3172ID0 contributionsLoved it. Highly recommend.Loved this tour. I think it was $54 a person. We ended up with a private tour because no one else signed up! Our tour guide was so nice. We got to try all three of their chocolates (white, dark, and milk), their dark chocolate before all the sugar was added, a coco bean, and then 2 of their best selling bon bons. We then got to make our own chocolate bar, two bon bons, chocolate covered oreo, and chocolate covered marshmallow. The Chocolate is soooooo good! Its just a short walk from the cruise ship port. I 100% recommend this to others.Written 26 September 2023
- kpettyphoto0 contributionsMust experience from Cruise port! Combine with Bahama Barrels!Such a nice surprise to have this experience so much better than expected! My friend and I booked this separate from the Bahama Barrels wine experience and is also not offered as an excursion through the cruise line. This is good, less people and less expensive. A very unique experience for sure! We were taught history of the cocoa bean and where they are shipped from including the process the beans go through then we got in our hair nets and cute yellow suits and made chocolate bars and other small treats to take home with us. Yummy!!!!Written 1 July 2023
- Sue Z0 contributionsExcellent activityMakeing chocolate bar and learning about coco beans we loved our tour guide she was young but new her stuff great thing to do with othersWritten 12 February 2023
- KarenLW710 contributionsWhat a fun experience! My mom and I did the chocolate tour and made chocolate bars with our tour guide, Risso (sp?). She made our time there so much fun! She provided much interesting information about chocolate making and was very patient with these 2 seniors! We were given a choice of dark, milk or white chocolate with which to make the bars, and 3 ingredients to add to them (coconut, white chocolate crunchies and dried cranberries.) The finished product was delicious. I know some have said that the price was high for a chocolate bar, but what I paid for was a chocolate bar plus an awesome experience! Thank you!Written 6 February 2023
- jenstepanian0 contributionsTerrible FacilityTerrible tour guide. She did not explain anything well. She also was a bit rude. I tried to cancel two tickets well in advance of our tour, that we had purchased. However, they said that we never tried calling. I called at least 4 times and have record of that. The other two fiends joining us were sick. The tickets costs $50/ticket. They didn’t allow us to make chocolate for the guests who couldn’t make it (who had a paid ticket). Do not waste your money here. Also the cooking area is a dump.Written 17 January 2023
- JTG_Texas0 contributionsChocolateCame here as part of a cruise ship tour. Staff is excellent, especially Shemar. He is an excellent guide. The tour was fun and the chocolate is awesome. You get to make your own chocolate bar! I highly recommend this place if you’re in Nassau.Written 20 December 2022

Husband and I just walked thru- not on a tour. We purchased and sampled a few delicious chocolates. We decided not to do a tour- but the chocolates were worth the stop and few bucks we spent on them.

we were told we could see chocolate made and have chance to create some. all we saw was a overpriced gift shop. chocolates are awesome...but way overpriced as is everything is. kind of a letdown tour. we saw slums in the village. the best part of our tour was the rum tasting..and the conch fritters. the conch they sell at the island at sandals were crap. never order these at the island. it nothing but bteading. overall..we enjoyed the sandals...other than that..dont waste your time going into nassau. its a slum. someone begging you to buy something. its overwhelming. i was glad to get back to sandals.

An uphill but not hard walk from Nassau is Graycliff Hotel and Chocolatiers. What a beautiful destination. Gardens and decorations inside and out. The tasting was intimate and detailed. Delicious pairings and our guide was so much fun. The business was bustling, but we felt like VIPs and had a wonderful afternoon. Can't wait to go back and stay at the hotel and eat in the beautiful restaurants.
