I had a blast on this tour, Mikey the guide was an absolute legend.
Not only was he knowledgeable but extremely charismatic and he had us laughing the whole time as we wandered the streets of downtown Nassau, going from a distillery with an incredible pina colada, to colourful cocktail bar, chocolate tasting, cigar factory, a liquor shop and then lastly a rum tasting & mojito making class at Hillside. Perfect way to spend a few hours discovering this part of the island. I would recommend having breakfast before as the food on the tour is great but just “tasters” but don’t hesitate in booking, it’s fantastic!

The tour was by far one of the highlights of our trip to the Bahamas, and relatively speaking the best value of anything we did while there. We had sever $350-400 dinners (Bahamas are expensive!) , and this $180 for a couple was money well spent. Fox was a truly fantastic tour guide. There was a last minute cancellation of other members of our tour and it was only us and Fox. He treated it as if it was a full house. His knowledge of all sorts of history of the island, rum, cigars, food, culture was great. He was damn funny and engaging as well. At one point he picked up a guitar from a street performer that he knew and serenaded us. The drinks were good and the food was tasty (snacks, not a meal fyi) but it is tour was top notch. They could have served us Alpo and dishwater, and I would still give it 5 stars (well maybe 4). Don't give it a second thought and book this tour.

Fox is the best! He made the whole day. His energy was contagious he kept us engaged while learning some great fun facts about the Bahamas. It was nice to walk around downtown with a local. The mixology session at the end had such a lovely setting it was the perfect way to wind down after all of the walking. The drinks we tried were delicious. My favorite was a Pina Colada made with fresh coconut. All of the stops along the way were great as well. If you are visiting Nassau I highly recommend this tour ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

This was the best part of our 5-day stay in Nassau. Our guide was phenomenal at showing us around and ensuring we had a good time. It was also a great opportunity to connect with other tourists while connecting with the city. Great value for what you spend. 100% would recommend anyone to do this tour during your visit!

This walking tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip!!! We had the best time enjoying the true vibrance of the colorful architecture, culture, art, spirits, food, and people.
Our tour guide Mikey was knowledgeable, funny, energetic and a joy to spend our day with. The staff along our tour, like our bartender Chris at the Hillside House, and the guides at John Waitling’s Distillery, were all so friendly, fun, and welcoming.
This tour is worth the every penny! Truly a great experience.

FOX IS THE MAN!!!! We had a great tour with Fox. He is very knowledgeable, funny, and can play guitar and sing. I’m in the tour business and do tours whenever I travel. I’m also very critical of tours. I’ve been on some good ones and some bad ones, but this is the best one I have been on. The way the tour is set up is amazing. You have many interesting stops along the way. You get to learn about the rum industry and the history of the Island. We got to have many different samples on the tour including rum and food. I highly recommend this tour for sure. I only gave it a five star rating because you can’t give anymore than that. You can tell Fox is very proud of his island and shows great enthusiasm on tour. I’ve seen many and worked with many tour guides and Fox is definitely one of the best I’ve ever seen. Request Fox for your tour!!

Had an amazing tour with Mikey and Nat. Mikey was an amazing guide throughout, sharing Bahamian history with an incredible sense of humor. The tour was 100% worth the price, and a great way to spend the day walking through downtown sipping on rum cocktails!

We loved this tour so much! Definite highlight of our trip. Fox was our tour guide and was extremely kind, fun, and knowledgeable. He answered every question we had, no matter what it was.
We had somewhat of a different experience because of a freak accident that happened at Hillside House. It did not affect our experience at all, but even so, Fox and the people at Hillside House went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated even when they were in crisis. Fox ended up taking us to some of his favorite spots in Nassau while we were waiting and it gave us an awesome, authentic experience where we got to meet some amazing people. Also if you have a chance, take some time to visit Turnschuh - Skate Shop & Art Gallery and The Crew Pub.
Then when we got back to Hillside House, we finished our experience and even got to meet the artist Antonius Roberts. He felt so bad for the inconvenience he gave us a signed book of his prints. We were blown away by the hospitality from all parties. This inconvenience made what would have been an already amazing tour an unforgettable experience. Definitely take this tour!

My husband and I had a fantastic time, just enough walking and just enough rum. Mikey and Charro kept us laughing the entire time, they were able to stay historically accurate while keeping the tour light and fun. The tour stopped in the cigar and chocolate factories and it was just enough time for me at rhode places. The rum flight and mixology lessons were great and we laughed the whole time. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a little taste of everything downtown.

Fun way to spend an afternoon. Mikey shared fun stories of piracy while serving up rum and a sampling of local food. We visited several places we would have walked right past or never would have seen.

We are staying in San Salvador. On our return, we get to Nassau at 10, but don't fly out until 6:30. Given this long layover, we're looking for something to do. Can we make this work? I'm assuming we could taxi to the start of the tour, but we'll have our carryon luggage unless we can store it somewhere at the airport. Also, we are a group of 27, although I doubt everyone would want to participate.
Thanks!

You would want to find a locker or something at the airport unless your carry on is a back pack. The tour is a walking tour, not a super long distance but you do go into some stores and there are no real sidewalks.

Good Morning
My fiancé and I did this tour about a year and a half ago. We loved it! We will be coming down to Nassau for our wedding this upcoming February 2020. We want to set up this tour for some of our guests to partake in. We potentially may have 20-40 people. Would you be able to accommodate a group like that? I am ok if you need to split us up with multiple tour guides. We would be looking to do this Thursday February 20th. Most likely in the afternoon.
I look forward to hearing from you
Thanks!

Tried to book tour online for one person and got the message “unavailable for that date and number”. Then made request for same date for two people and tickets were available. Is the tour not open to single travelers?

Do you mean Watlings instead of Watkins? If so,upon beginning the tour, they will usually pass out a tiny sample of pina colada slush.Actual drinks are available for purchase at the end of the tour in their bar.
