We visitd Heritance Ahungalla hotel in September 15-17th.Its a beautiful hotel in south of Srilanka.Rooms were very comforatable ,Clean and we had an ocean veiw.Food was excellent! We could try all srilankan authentic food. Yara Tea was a special as they poured tea from one yard high to the tea cup and this gave a spaecial flavor to the tea. F&B Executive Pradeep Gunaratne went out of his way to provide us delicious crab curry with roast paan to our table. All throughout our stay staff was so friendly and courtiest. Thank you Heritance Ahungalla for your excellent service we will definetely visit you again on our next visit to Srilanka.

We stayed at the Cinnamon Lakeside for 8 days during late June 2024 and it was clearly the best part of our holiday programme that you can have. Service is exceptional and the whole experience was as you would expect from a five-star hotel. Hotel is centrally located in Colombo yet quiet & peaceful. We had a room on 5th floor facing pool & lake with spectacular views especially at night as the Lotus Tower is lit. When we checked in, we were met with Warren Hankel, Front Office Manager, who was very helpful and provided all the information we needed to know. Also, all of the front office staff to housekeeping, food and beverage staff to front door staff were excellent in greeting and dealing with every customer on arrival as a VIP. Ranked the Best Five Star City Hotel by Sri Lanka Tourism, Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel, Colombo is the epitome of indulgence and elegance. Overlooking the tranquil Beira Lake, the hotel offers completely refurbished, comfortable rooms. Its inimitable blend of luxury, personal attention, sincerity and warmth gives you the opportunity to enjoy your break at your own space, regardless of whether you are on holidays. This is a stunning hotel with great facilities and a beautiful lakeside pool. The presentation and choice of breakfast was amazing including lunch and dinner services were brilliant, you are spoiled for choices. We noticed that the entire food and beverage operation was continuously supervised by Thushara Bandara who is the Food and Beverage Director, who appears to maintain an excellent team providing first class operation covering all the outlets. All departments deserve a garner acclaim for their excellent customer services produced. Also, credit goes to the general manager to all of his line managers maintaining a high standard of world class customer services. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful towards every customer. The staff were very hard working, always ensured customers are looked after, extremely pleasant and always smiled. One always reads about the Sri Lankans are the country of smiling people. That quote certainly proves to be the truth nothing but the truth when compared with the entire brigade at the Cinnamon Lakeside. SPECIAL NOTE We wish to convey our special thanks to the front office cashier/night auditor who went an extra mile to help us on the morning of our departure. The cashier/night auditor’s name is Vidura Weragama. We had a problem with the transfer booked with the Aitkin Spence who are partnered with the Emirate Holidays, the transfer driver was booked to pick us up at 5am on 29th June, unfortunately transfer driver did not turn up in time. We would say that the front office staff in the morning tried relentlessly to make contact with the Aitken Spence driver but no response. We are grateful to Vidura Weragama who was on duty on early morning who went an extra mile to help us with the problem and he managed to provide us with a complementary transfer to the airport with the hotel car. Also, hotel driver was very courteous and took us to the airport in time. We take this opportunity to thank the cashier and the driver who were courteous and delivered us to the airport in time. We visited Srilanka on a 9N/10 day tour. We were treated wonderfully by tour birds travels. On our arrival we were received by a wonderful person called RASHID who welcomed me and my family with garlands. He remained with us for the entire duration. He was very simple down to earth, linguist and energetic person. His driving skill was exemplary and he always followed the traffic rules and regulations very meticulously. He advised us on the Do’s and Don’ts in Srilanka. Looked after our kids whenever we stepped out for some shopping. He always reminded us for our wallet,‘passport and mobiles before we started for our next travel destination. All in all a great person and a great asset to any tour travel agency. Highly recommended.

I must commend Mr Sisira Rahman and the team for going above and beyond to accommodate our special requests from the time of booking ( 32 pax ).Their willingness to personalize the experience made the High Tea truly memorable. I had dinner with my friends on 9/16/2023 at Royal Thai Restaurant, Cinnamon Lake Hotel Colombo. From the time we entered right upto our departure it was excellent hospitality, courtesy and extremely helpful tips during dinner. Waiters/ waitresses, specially Isuru who was assigned to our table, treated us like “royalty “. The dishes were delicious to say the least. Both vegetarian/ non-veg dishes were equally delectable to say the least. All in all ROYAL THAI MADE OUR DAY, after a disappointing attempt at another restaurant in a 5-star hotel in Colombo the same day! PLEASE KEEP IT UP, YOUR INNOVATIVE DISHES AS WELL AS THE SERVICE ROYAL THAI. 👍👍👍

This is the 3 rd visit for the past one year. This visit I am staying for 2 weeks. The staff are so wonderful and always smiling. It is so nice to be treated by such friendly staff. Love to mention some names. Gayani Punchhewa the front desk manager, Warren Hakel assistant manager front desk, Priyani who always smile and get up when I come out of the lift, Gamani from the concierge team who is always there willing to serve, Prasad, bar manager, Minoli from the restaurant, Hirushani the ever smiling host restaurants. These are more people I like to mention. It is a second home for me. Will support this hotel any day

The guide made a real effort to show us interetsing little things that were sometimes off the beaten track. One memeber of our group is a photogrpaher and he went out of his to take us to get close up and tthe more difficult shots of the wildlife. Fresh fruit and coconuts was a nice suprise when he took us to sandbank where we chilled out on some plastic chairs he bought with for us to sit on in the water. The fruit was delicious!

My college trip organized last summer to go to visit the beauty of Sri Lanka. We hired drivers of OTN World Company, Amila and Kumara, who took us to different places. We went to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Colombo Dutch Museum, Tangalle Beach and some other sites. Amila and Kumara proved to be nice hosts ever. They guided us very well. I am hoping to visit again Sri Lanka this summer too.

Just came back from my visit of Sri Lanka. My parents and my siblings accompanied me to this astounding and worth remembering trip to Sri Lanka which is a place like heaven on Earth. We stayed at cinnamon Lakeside Colombo Hotel which was located at a very beautiful sight. From the window of our room, we could see the beautiful blue sea with it's limitless horizons. Moreover, that scene was even more mesmerizing when the sun would set and we could observe it. Our tour driver Mr. Janith who took us to various places like Sigiriya,kandy ,Galle ,Willpattu was quite pleasant and informative who kept on telling us about different recreational places. We visted willpattu where we encountered some leopard and an Bear .Then we moved forward to Safari for spectating other animals. Moreover, our stay at Sri Lanka was much cheaper and it is much difficult to describe my days in Sri Lanka in a single review as there is too much to dig into.

We have had a amazing trip. He was polite, informative, fun, always has a smile. Was willing to do what ever we wanted. We will be sure to recommend him and your company. Thank you for sharing your beautiful country with us. I have no words to say Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our family during our visit. The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We highly recommend it. The breakfast buffet on Sunday was equally as good.

I am extremely satisfied on my Stay at Hotel. Hotel is ideally located with all tourist attractions with in short walk Including 200 Shop Center Palladium. I am also Thankful for staff for the service they extended during our 2 night stay at this hotel . Last but not least appreciate Lovely Breakfast with Wide choice to keep you going. I would definitely stay once again next time visit.

Don't use OTN world for your tours in Colombo mine was booked thru Viator worst tour No pick up, fill in driver didn't know where we were supposed to go No bottles water which was included, No lunch included, paid temple fee included got No shopping time & missed so many attractions paid $88.00 us $128.50 au rip off

Glad I took the trip. I was thinking of doing something similar by myself though I am glad I didn’t. Going at solo would’ve taken me probably three days to see everything I saw in one day. Driver was amazing .
