Day 1: Airport / Negombo

Stop At: Negombo Beach, Negombo Sri Lanka
Start Point Negombo, Sri Lanka
Upon arrival to the Colombo CMB airport we’ll pick up from the airport. The first destination will be Negombo, it has long been known as the most popular beach in Sri Lanka, famed for its sandy beach, food, fun and shopping.
Today we don’t have planned any activities and your tour leader will decide the day plan according to the time you arrive.

Day 2: Dambulla City / Sigiriya Lion Rock

Stop At: Dambulla Dedicated Economic Centre, Kandy - Jaffna Highway, Dambulla 21100 Sri Lanka
This morning fill up with delicious breakfast at the hotel and departs to Drambulla to visit Vegetable Trade Market. One of the things that speak aloud of the abundance of nature here is the wide variety of fresh and natural produce. And the best way to get a glimpse of this produce and buy some of it is the Dambulla Produce Market. Here, you will get to see the many locals of the district engaged in selling several varieties of vegetables and fruits from their tiny stalls. Seeing them dealing with customers also gives you a perspective into their daily lives and traditions. You will see a truckload of bananas throughout this market, and you should definitely buy some for yourself and indulge in the sweet, wholesome delight.

Stop At: Ancient City of Sigiriya, Sigiriya Site, Sigiriya 21120 Sri Lanka
Afterwards proceeds to Sigiriya Lion Rock, an ancient rock fortress located near the town of Dambulla. King Kashyapa(477 – 495 BC) built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colorful frescoes. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE and it is one of the best-preserved examples of ancient civilization.

Day 3: Historical City Of Polonnaruwa

Stop At: Polonnaruwa Sri Lanka
After breakfast Proceed to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa Polonnaruwa, the second most ancient of Sri Lankan kingdoms, was first declared the capital city by the king Vijayabahu in 1070. Cycling in Polonnaruwa countryside is a wonderful experience: you can cycle through Polonnaruwa lake, meet traditional inland fishermen and know their living styles and traditional fishing methods.

Stop At: Habarana Lake, Habarana Sri Lanka
Afterwards experience a Bullock Cart Ride to Countryside
Bullock Cart is the ancient Sri Lanka’s one of major transportation system and still some villages of Sri Lanka using Bullock Cart as transportation. You can experience traditional Sri Lankans transportation system and meantime you will experience green paddy fields in Habarana Area. After 15 minute canoeing ride you will reach to Famer’s house and you can experience typical Sri Lankan countryside hospitality at his house and after you can walk through his farm. You can experience different types of cultivation methods and vegetables. At the end you can experience typical countryside Sri Lankan lunch at Famer’s house.

Stop At: Minneriya National Park, Habarana-Polonnaruwa Road, Habarana 50150 Sri Lanka
Continue on to the Minneriya National Park for an evening safari.
If you're up for a serious rumble in the jungle, then Minneriya is your Utopia! Spreading over 8800 hectares, this Park is primarily a sanctuary for elephants but is also home to herds of deer and ample birdlife. Park yourself on the banks of the reservoir and quietly watch as herds of elephants, one by one, come to feed on the tender shoots on the grass covered banks. In fact, this is the largest elephant gathering in the world. Over 300 at a time can graze on the grasses to the delight of the most avid wildlife enthusiasts.

Day 4: Cave Temple / Spice Graden / Kandy City

Stop At: Dambulla Cave Temple, Jaffna Hwy, Habarana 50150 Sri Lanka
After breakfast proceed to Dambulla Rock Temple. On arrival embark on a tour of the Cave Temple. Dambulla is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. It has been treasured by many kings since the 1st century B.C. The rock towers 160m over the surrounding plains and houses 5 cave temples with some of the most unique and significant historical drawings. The murals cover an area of 2100 square metres and depict the temptation of the demon Mara and Buddha’s first sermon.

Stop At: Regent Spice and Herbal Garden - Matale, No:06, Kirigalpoththa, Palapathwela, Matale Sri Lanka
Proceeds to visit a spice garden in Matale to see many different types of spices Sri Lanka is famous for. You will be introduced to different spices and shown how some of these spices are grown and processed. A processing and training unit has been set up in the area and farmers are grouped in a cooperative to ensure fair prices and you will also be able to purchase spices.
Gardens are open to visitors, a delightful place to stroll in fragrant greenery and learn about nutmeg, pepper vines, clove trees and curry, cinnamon and the precious cardamom, a relative of ginger.

Pass By: Kandy Lake, Centre of Kandy City, Kandy 20000 Sri Lanka
Afterwards you will be heading to Kandy, is the capital of the last Sinhalese Kingdom. It's set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and bio diverse rainforest. The city has beautiful centrepiece Lake, which is popular for strolling around. Kandy also famed for its sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth Relic. The main attractions in Kandy: Temple of the Tooth, Royal Botanical Garden, Bahirawakanda view point, Cultural show.

Day 5: Kitulgala Forest Reserve

Stop At: Makandawa Forest Reserve, Yatiyantota D.S, Kithulgala South GS division, Kitulgala Sri Lanka

It is a real paradise for those who love to hike and trekking or cycle in the mountains, since it offers numerous hills trails that journey across clear rivers, dense forests, waterfalls and lush tea plantations. The famous activities in Kitulgla, like white water rafting, Climbing, Trekking, Hiking and many more.

Day 6: Nuwara Eliya / Tea Plantation

After early breakfast proceed to Sri Lankan Tea region of Nuwara Eliya. Enroute you can visit a tea factory and observe the tea making process, also enjoy a fresh cup of Ceylon tea. Nuwara Eliya is often referred as “Little England’ because many of the buildings in this city retain from the British colonial period, such as the Queen's Cottage, General's House, Grand Hotel, Hill Club and Town Post Office. Day 7: Train Journey / Ella Village

Stop At: Ella Rock, Ella Main Street NECS-Nature Exploration and Conservation Society Sri Lanka, Ella 90090 Sri Lanka
After breakfast, if you wish take a Train Journey(subject to availability & 2nd class) from Nanu-oya to Ella it is one of the picturesque hill country train journey in the world. Get off the train at Ella Station and Proceeds to Ella village, it’s everyone favourite hill country village surrounded by beautiful rocks and mountains, including the famous “Mini Adams Peak’ Rock. Because of the long train journey, we have not arranged any activities in the afternoon, so you may enjoy the rest of the day at the hotel or visit to the village centre where you have lots of pubs and restaurants.
The main attractions in Ella: Mini Adam’s peak trekking, Nine arch bridge, Rawana waterfall.

Day 8: Nine Arch Bridge / Mini Adams Peak

Stop At: Mini Adams Peak, Ella Sri Lanka
Today is a free day in Ella, you may start the day visiting to the Ella Rawana waterfalls, is a popular sightseeing attraction in Ella. It currently ranks as one of the highest falls in the country; in fact, this waterfall measures approximately 25 m (82 ft). Another attraction is the Nine arch bridge. It is a massive bridge built entirely of solid rocks, bricks and cement without using a single piece of steel. The bridge was finally commissioned in 1921. Ella is a great place for walking and climbing and it’s most famous hiking route is to “Little Adam’s Peak.

Day 9: Yala National Park

Stop At: Yala National Park, Sri Lanka
This morning proceed to Yala National Park. Thanks to a river running through it, Yala National Park is divided into two sections. Because the river makes crossing to the other side difficult, Yala is really treated as two separate parks. But that doesn’t change the fantastic offerings! From elephant and leopard spotting, Jeep safari’s, and many historical and religious ruins to explore, there are so many things that will keep you busy.

Day 10: Historical Gall City / Fort

Stop At: Galle Fort, Church Street, Galle 80000 Sri Lanka
After breakfast head to Galle, It’s a city on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka. Well known for the Galle fort. The old city built by Portuguese colonists in the 16th century, with its wonderful collection of Dutch-colonial buildings, Classic architecture melds with a dramatic tropical setting to create a reality that is endlessly interesting. Galle Lighthouse stands on the fort’s southeast tip. Its glories have earned the status as a Unesco World Heritage Site.

Day 11: Madu River Safari / Bentota Beach

Stop At: Madu River, Nilwala River Safari, Bridge View, Custom Road, Balapitiya , Sri Lanka, Balapitiya 80550 Sri Lanka
After Breakfast travel to Bentota and take a magical boat ride down the beautiful Madu River, a wetland estuary spreading over 900 hectares of which 770 hectares is covered with water and inhabited with 64 islands. The boat ride is a wonderful way to take a closer look at this complex wetland ecosystem; a world heritage site protected by the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands being one of the last wetlands in Sri Lanka to contain a pristine mangrove forest.

Stop At: Hikkaduwa Beach, Hikkaduwa 80240 Sri Lanka
Enjoy the final day afternoon in Sri Lanka leisurely at your beach hotel, is delightful sandy beach and known as one of the finest beaches in Sri Lanka, a sea is free from rocks and also coconut palms growing right to the edge of the sand as if in imitation of a postcard of the perfect tropical beach.

Day 12: Colombo Capital City / Airport

Stop At: Colombo Fort, Galle Buck, Colombo Sri Lanka
After breakfast visit to Colombo, it's Sri Lanka's capital city. Colombo has a interesting history running back to fifth century. Even in the ancient times this was an important port city in East-West sea trade. Now it has bloomed in to a bustling modern city with a unique atmosphere. The glitzy hotels, restaurants and modern shopping malls attract hordes of locals and tourists alike.
If you'd rather pick up some last-minute shopping or optional city walk with your leader.

Then proceed to the Airport in time for the Flight or we’ll drop to your hotel.
