Choosing Sri Lanka Dream Tour was the best decision I took regarding our holiday in Sri Lanka. Upul (the company owner), who accompanied our group during the trip, is an amazing person, extremely reliable and funny. He helped us with everything: plan the tour, manage the hotel bookings, chose the restaurants, places to go shopping, etc. Nothings was too much or too difficult. I traveled a lot around the globe and honestly I can say that he is the best companion you could ask for a holiday. I would recommend anybody to book Sri Lanka Dream Tour especially due their professionalism and honesty. You cannot go wrong with them!

We enjoyed a long trip in the company of Ubul and his driver. We had a proffessional guidance, we felt pampered and safe. We received valuable informations, we visited the most important objectives, we went to safari, we swimmed with turtles and a lot o funny activities. We found in Ubul a good friend, a cheerful companion and an expert guide. We highly recommend him, his team and his company for an amazing visit in Sri Lanka.

My friend and I did a 8 day tour of Sri Lanka clock-wise starting from Colombo to Mirissa in the following order: Colombo-Mihintale-Anuradhapura-Sigiriya-Dambulla-Wasgamuwa safari-Kandy-Nallathaniya-Nuwara Eliya-Ella-Haputale-Udawalawa safari-Mirissa. It was a quite tough itinerary because we wanted to see it all, so next time we would probably recommend doing the same tour but in more time. About our driver Dinusha specifically, we enjoyed our tour with him. He’s a very nice guy. We’ve had some misundertandings, but we think mostly because of the little language burden - and nothing important really. We also liked the fact that he’s in in 30s, so my friend and I (in our 20s) could also share some stories with him - which I think is important when you spend that much time with a person. He also always called the hotels/homestays we would spend the night in, in order to make sure everything was fine and that he would have a place to stay as close to us as possible. He really cared about our safety and wellbeing, brought us to places he knew for us to have lunch. Recommended!

We went on a 12 day tour with Sri Lanka Dream Tour. Our driver Harsha was amazing, and honestly one of the best tour guides/drivers we’ve had, and we’ve traveled to over 40 countries. Sri Lanka, while beautiful, is not a tier one tourism destination. As such, the service standards are not top notch. Very few people can speak English well, servers are often slow and inattentive, and it can be easy to feel ignored and a bit like a piece of luggage. Harsha is a diamond in the rough. College educated, he speaks English fluently, able to joke and even get into discussions on economics. He is relaxed and willing to go with the flow but also organized and able to help plan the day’s itinerary and able to arrange tours and tickets. He even got us seats on the overbooked train to Ella. Most importantly, he actually cares. He’s passionate about animals and elephants (knows their scientific names) and actually guides us (many of the local attraction guides just walked us around and didn’t say anything). He is always willing to be available at all times but never feels like he is pandering for money (in fact, he tends to spot us cash when we need it). He’s happy to take photos for us (and other tourists wandering around). He is super attentive and subtly does things without being asked, adjusting the air conditioning, moving bags, adjusting the music… He was also great with our 9 year old daughter, and we trusted him to watch out for her throughout the trip. We learned more about Sri Lanka from our driver Harsha than from every other guide and tour in Sri Lanka combined. I cannot imagine navigating this trip without him. Highly recommend.

We booked Upul's services after coming across fantastic reviews about Upul. Although we did not get Upul for our 16 days' trip, he selected Mr Imran for us. Throughout our time with him, we found Imran to be accommodating, patient and helpful. He always checked in on our daily plans and ensured that we were comfortable. Although we had booked some hotels on our own, Imran was comfortable to find his own accommodation without any fuss. He also gave us our space and was willing to wait for hours (e.g. we did a 4 hour trek and Imran dropped us off and picked us up) for us to finish our activity. He had a good sense of humour which helped in our long drives. He was also a safe driver. He was always game to take us to places that we chose (which were sometimes new to him too). He was happy to learn new things together with us. He followed our schedules without complaints. He was respectful and helpful. All in all, it was a lovely vacation, made possible by Upul and Imran. We used this tour company for a 2 week holiday with our toddler, after it was recommended by friends. We had a driver called Daminda who we really can’t recommend enough. He was a safe driver, spoke excellent English and was really informative with lots of interesting stories and anecdotes to tell us as we went from place to place. He was also AMAZING with our 2 year old. He carried her up a giant hill when we visited a temple, entertained her when we did a cooking course, and even helped us get her dressed on the side of the road when she was sick in his car… twice… we would recommend this company to anyone and in particular Daminda 😍

We had a fantastic time with Prashad on our 11 day trip around Sri Lanka. Prashad was always punctual, gave great recommendations for food, friendly, knowledgeable and made the trip so great for all of us! The van was spacious for our group of 4 adults + baby and was comfortable for the duration of our trip. Highly recommend this company and Prashad!

Upul went far beyond the role of a driver—he helped us purchase tickets, guided us at various attractions, arranged tuk-tuk hires, collected us from train stations, organized a car seat for our youngest, and even assisted with laundry! His extensive knowledge of Sri Lanka added so much to our journey, and he shared it generously along the way. Upul struck the perfect balance between allowing us independence and taking the stress out of everything. My children adored him and always felt safe and happy in his care. I organised an original tour with Upul in October for my foreign partner (I’m a local) and have to say I was very impressed with the services and dedication provided by him and his company. As a local, I could easily spot the common tourist traps used by some unsavoury characters, and I’m happy to say that Upul and his drivers always warned us against falling into those. Our initial trip was for six days, and we had significant control over what we wanted to see and what we didn’t, with Upul and his team being very flexible in accommodating our preferences. I later booked a second trip with Upul during my stay, this time with my family (my parents and partner). Upul himself was the driver, and I have to say his service exceeded my already high expectations. He was incredibly attentive to the needs of my family, even arranging a previously unplanned trip to Galle Fort for some of our extended family. Overall, his service was 5/5. If you’re a foreigner visiting Sri Lanka for the first time, I highly recommend Upul and his company for your travels. You’ll feel safe, well cared for, and guaranteed to have a great time.

While preparing for my trip to Sri Lanka and looking for a driver, I ‎came across “The Sri Lanka Dream Tour “. This way we could visit ‎wherever we wanted and have a driver to take us there. Prashad ‎was so much more than a driver. Every morning he was eager and ‎early to meet us with his big smile and positive attitude. Prashad ‎was full of suggestions and advice. I felt that he took care of us ‎and even anticipated our needs. We were blessed to have such a ‎wonderful driver, bodyguard, photographer and friend. It really was ‎the Sri Lanka Dream Tour!!!!!!‎

We have just finished the most incredible nine day tour of Sri Lanka with 007 Bond himself, Daminda! We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide; Daminda has truly expert level knowledge, showed us all the best parts of the country, kept us safe and had such a laugh with us the whole tour through. We felt so well looked after and nothing was too much trouble and Daminda was super flexible with plans. We enjoyed the tour so much we extended it by two days. Daminda’s car is modern and comfortable. It had great air conditioning and we loved that he also provided WiFi. We found it really helpful having somewhere safe to store our belongings on the trip. We have loved seeing Sri Lanka through the eyes of a local and Daminda really is the best of the best and has become such a good friend. I really don’t think there is a better tour guide in the whole of Sri Lanka. We couldn’t recommend him more and can’t wait to come back to visit again.

We booked a 5 day tour with Dinusha from Weligama to Negombo going through Udawalawe, Ella, Nuwara Eliya, and Dambulla. After reading all the amazing reviews we had high expectations, but the experience was better than that. Everything was handled by the team with prompt responses and support for all our requests.
