        Amazing turtle
I was in premium tour with Oxygen. This trip was really nice, amazing view in Koh Nang Yuan, funny and professional guides. The guide found very big turtle around 1-1,5 meters and showed us! Thank you!

Beautiful trip to the Surin Islands with WOW. Very well organized
Fantastic day trip out to the Surin islands with wow. Really well organized and very friendly guides. The breakfast at the start of the trip was great with plenty of choice. There are a couple of good shops there, so if you have forgotten anything or would like to buy something like a waterproof bag you can do in the shop and the prices are OK. The trip itself was amazing and our guide found, fantastic places to snorkel as soon as you jump in the water you are surrounded by bright and beautiful, coral, and fish. You snorkel in each place for about half an hour and the trips to the village and the national park to eat. Lunch were also great. It is a very long boat ride out but the speed boats are pretty comfy and the staff on board are really nice , there are plenty of refreshments also.

        Great experience
We phoned around quite a few cookery schools and settled on this one as it was one of the only ones that would accept children. We were a group of five with three kids. The morning started with a short walk down to the local market to learn about the local produce and buy some bits. After that we made four dishes, of our choice from a larger selection, and all very tasty and easy to follow. The school also provided pick up and drop off from our accommodation with was very useful. Highly recommended.

        Tasty Family fun
A wonderful culinary experience for families. New skills to take home and also recipes given to us to replicate back home. Unlike other cooking schools with set menus, The Riverside cooking school gave you a choice of many dishes to cook. I was really happy as I’ve always wanted to learn how to make a TomYum Goong soup and that I did. Because everyone had an individual dish you could customise how hot to make the dish. Once cooked we all shared our dishes. A lovely activity for families and individuals. Apple and her team were delightful and effervescent. Highly recommend (but take your big spray, the mozzie were also having a feast)

        Beautiful scenery!
We had a great trip to the Similan islands - the staff were very friendly and helpful. The boat was busy and packed full but the rest of the trip was beautiful and we experienced lots of snorkelling and exploring of some of the islands. The scenery is spectacular!

        Brilliant family cookery evening
I'm so pleased we chose Lanta Thai cookery school. Our family of 4, children aged 10 and 13 had the most fantastic time making 4 delicious dishes for dinner. The teaching is fun and accessible and the food is plentiful. We even took away a doggy bag! Everything is very clean and with a taxi provided from our hotel it was super easy. Drinks are available to purchase whilst you cook and eat and the proces are reasonable. Highly recommended and we can't wait to try the recipes at home from the cookbook we were given go takeaway.

An amazing day! We would definitely recommend this trip.
We were picked up promptly at 8am at our hotel and driven to the pier. Free breakfast is included in your ticket price and consisted of pastries, fruit, coffee, and tea. We departed the pier at 9am and the boat crew were amazing! Everybody was organised and safe during our day out. What stood out to me was the crew's attention to ensuring everyone was hydrated throughout the day - constantly handing out ice cold bottled water! Travel time from Koh Samui to Ko Wao Yai was about 1 hour. The snorkelling in Ko Wao Yai was fun, we saw some pretty fish and coral. All equipment was provided by the team, and we stayed on this island for 45 minutes. We saw some amazing landscapes whilst kayaking and having lunch on Ko Sam Sao, and we stayed here for 1.5 hours. We had the opportunity to climb up to the Blue Lagoon viewing point on Ko Mae Ko (definitely worth it!) There is a small tuck shop with snacks and drinks so have cash ready. Lastly, the highlight of our trip was Ko Wua Ta Lab. You could hike up to the viewing deck which took us approx. 30 minutes to get to the top. It's a steep climb but so worth it! If you choose not to hike, there is a lovely beach to swim and relax on and another tuck shop with snacks and drinks.

The best trip of our stay in Thailand!
This was such an amazing experience. You can tell the guides have put their heart and soul into this trip and their happiness and enthusiasm really rubbed off on everyone. The food was the best we’ve had so far on our holiday, our guide was very knowledgeable about the local wildlife, we got up close to a monkey! Making the floral offerings at sunset was the perfect end to the day. Could not recommend this trip enough, we absolutely loved it 😊

        Amazing snorkelling experience
Amazing! Best snorkelling trip I’ve been on by far - staff were very friendly and gave really good tours of all the snorkelling spots, seeking out sting rays, starfish and even a turtle to show us! Definitely worth booking whilst you’re in koh lanta! At the end they took us through the mangroves to see the monkeys as well - they really went above and beyond!

        Terrible trip
Wow this was bad. We did many trips in Thailand and felt like a guest in this beautiful country. This trip people were trying to put there hand in your pocket and you felt like a customer/target all day. The price is not correct! You actually get charged £20 extra to do the rafting otherwise you have to get out after 30 minutes and wait in the sun. It is really badly organised no times waiting points information and we didn’t even get water apart from at lunch which was terrible. But the worst part is you are not actually rafting you are holding on intermittently whilst the river runs and flows due to it not actually being a proper river and opened by a damn and the sheer amount t of people. It also takes close to 3 hours to get there from Ao Nang. We have loved Thailand and the people but this really is a terrible thing. Also if you don’t choose elephant riding/bathing which I don’t understand why people would, you have to sit on the coach and wait for the idiots that do while staring at poor elephants

One of the best Cooking Classes ever!
What a lovely experience! Chef Apple picked us up from our hotel and it was just us 4 (inc 2 kids aged 10 & 7) - we headed to the market which was a great experience in itself, seeing various produce which we would not usually have seen. From there we headed to the kitchens at their place where we each had the opportunity to create our own dish (including the kids). The whole morning was a fantastic learning experience and the kids also enjoyed it. 10/10 well done!

        Great tour
We really enjoyed it, our tour was from krabi. About 1h30 minutes, through the countryside. 1) long tail boat - great experience 2) kayaking - we were being driven around and our guy was very good, went under the rock ( see pic ) 3) James Bond island - that was very cool, could walk around, things on the island not too pricey. 4) panaye village - village on stilts. We went around it and really enjoyed that. 5) temple - could feed the monkeys, which I really enjoyed and around a temple. A must go tour, we really liked it

        Snorkeling trip to Similan islands
        - Pick-up: somewhat early but on time, careful driving and clean vehicle, no flexibility on preferred departure and return time as group dependent - At the pier: well organized industry for processing vast number of tourists, longish waiting times, clean amenities, fair food - Boat trip: fast, modern and well crewed, treats on board, safe and clean snorkeling gear - Sites: two snorkeling sites and two at the beach stays. Beautiful underwater, overcrowded on the surface (expect at least half a dozen of other boats with each around 30 snorkelers ) - Lunch break: poor to fair, beach overcrowded see above - Staff: professional, caring and nice - Value for money: fair if you don’t mind a crowd

We did the four island tour by longtail boat with this company. I would not recommend it. We were crammed into the boat like sardines, so crammed our shoulders were scrunched up for entire tour. They rush you from location to location and once you get to an island you have very little time before you have to rush back to the boat for the next island. Every island is overpopulated with tourists. Overall this was not an enjoyable experience and I would not recommend it for anyone to do while on vacation/holiday. The old adage of you get what you pay for rings true for this tour. It was very cheap for a whole day tour (500 Thai baht) and by the end we realized why. Overbooked and rushed.

Never wrote a bad review but this one is beyond bad.
Took 2 hours from the pickup time until we started the trip (huge delay).
The boat was packed to the MAX with people.
Guide speaks indecipherable English and shout throughout the entire trip.
We asked for a vegetarian launch and they forget so we had nothing to eat.
      Very bad experience overall.
Do yourself a favor and book a private tour.

Communication before tour was responsive and tour pick up was on time - but unfortunately the weather conditions on the day of the tour were very poor, with thunderstorms and heavy rain leading up to and during the tour time making it impossible for us to take the ferry to meet the tour pick up. Since this tour is comprised of basically entirely outdoor activities, good weather was obviously necessary for a good time, and the tour description even says tour requires good weather to operate. Even though we communicated with the tour the morning of, well before the pickup time, to let them know we were unable to make it to the pickup due to the weather, they insisted on going forward with the tour and refused to cancel it or issue a refund since we were stranded and unable to go on the tour even if the weather magically cleared up during the day, which it did not.

Dear jwex718 Thanks for your comments. The tours was indeed operated on the day even with rain showers in the morning. But the weather on the 4 island group which is around a 30 minute ride from Ao Nang was fine. The weather is very unstable during monsoon, but our local guides and captain make sure that everything is safe.

This was a very unenjoyable experience as a solo traveler. Only families with screaming babies, the boat was cramped and over packed, it stank of petrol.
Lunch was average. Guide was not funny but was trying to be, it was really awkward. Would never do again or recommend to a friend

Dear 33daisyh Thanks for sharing your comments with us. We accept all kind of travellers and do not have any policies for families etc. I recommend to book a private tour instead. Longtail boats are powered by a huge diesel motor usually taken from a truck.

The best snorkelling experience at Chicken Island. I saw so many corals and beautiful multi coloured fishes. Unfortunately couldn't snorkel for long as it was raining and it was the last island to visit on the trip. Beautiful beaches at Poda island.

This is an excellent and must-do tour in Krabi. My only gripe is that it took a while for the boat to actually depart - we were ready in our hotel lobby for 8:30am, and after a 10 minute transfer to the pier, we didn't leave until after 10. However, you could make toast and get a coffee while waiting.

The tour itself is amazing. We had plenty of time to explore each location and were given fruit, water and lunch to keep us going. The views are scenic and there are plenty of fish to see when swimming/snorkelling, as well as coral when snorkelling.

Overall, this was an excellent tour and I would recommend anyone to do it if in Krabi.

We're always looking for ways to improve, and we'll take your experience into account to try and streamline the boarding process. BEST PART of our entire trip! It was wonderful to see so many islands. my favorite part was the snorkeling- they even provided the snorkeling gear! Can not recommend this enough. Gorgeous views, gorgeous weather, gorgeous everything :)

Let me just start by saying that the islands were beautiful and we did have a lovely day. However, none of this was due to the staff and company. After we were treated like cattle in the waiting area, there was then not enough space on the boat for us to sit in seats under shelter so instead were forced to sit on benches in direct sunlight all day. These seats were evidently not intended for customers and so we were constantly asked to stand up and move out of the way on a moving boat which didn’t help the sea sickness suffering among us. Furthermore, as a result of our makeshift seats, whenever information was delivered to the group explaining what was next going to happen, we were completely ignored unless we directly asked when they would flash a piece of paper in our direction with a time on it and that was it. The food was also subpar which we could have dealt with if were the staff hadn’t refused us seconds or a larger portion of the edible parts so that they could then gorge themselves. All round our experience was not quite what we were expecting and had been promised but we had a good day nonetheless.

The 4 island tour by long tail boat was a fantastic experience. The driver and tourguide made us feel comfortable and safe while we were in rocky conditions. The 4 destinations that we visited were absolutely beautiful and 100% worth the visit. Be prepared to hop in and out of the boat from/into knee deep water. Weather was fabulous on the day we went and the water is the perfect temperature to swim in. Favourites were snorkelling at chicken island and princess cave island.
