It was more bus time and shuttled through gift shops than I would have liked. I would've liked to learn more about PV and tge culture. The church was nice, I actually thought we would have walked around downtown a bit. We just went to a jewelry store and leather shop. The coffee place was nice but far out. The tequila tasting was way too much, my bus mates were drunk! I was a little worried for their safety on the cobble stone roads.. Overall nit what I expected.

Franco, the tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable about the history of Mexico the history of Jalisco tequila. He communicated incredibly well it was an amazing trip. I really enjoyed the tequila vineyard the coffee farm Hacienda eating at the Hacienda Hacienda museum, and the time to walk around town, I would highly recommend this tour Largely apart because of Francisco and all that he explained to us and educated us about.

Beautiful country side! Very interesting information about San Sebastian. Great village of how people there live. Beautiful church.

The tour was well organized, on time and led by great guides and driver. The points of interest were most enjoyable. The lunch was awesome. Overall, a fabulous day! Ken 😎

Lots of driving for a short visit to a small town and a pretty average lunch. The tequila tasting, coffee plantation visit and jewelry shop were really only designed to get you to buy the products. There was some decent history provided about the area but overall not worth the time or the money.

Our guide Ramón was fabulous, a knowledgeable and personable professional. Trip included stops at a tequila distillery and coffee plantation where hosts explained how their products were made from harvesting plants to final product. This included samples. The lunch meal of chicken mole was indescribably delicious. San Sebastián is a beautiful village with all buildings and central square displaying Colonial period architecture. Disappointed the tour didn't include more to see on the Spanish settlement and lifestyles of the 17th and 18th centuries. Otherwise recommend this trip.

Saw some cool sites, but got long and was just taken to a lot of shops to buy things. Lunch at the end was overpriced. Was the only day tour we could find.

Franco and Santiogo made this a fantastic day trip. Learned alot of history of area and silver mining. Tequila stop was fascinating and tasting was great experience in beautiful setting. lunch was wonderful and free time in San Sebastian was much appreciated. i highly recommend this trip..great experience.

A nice getaway from PV for the day. We visited a coffee shop, a jewelry shop specializing in fire opals, then a very tasty lunch followed by the Church, a weaving and Obsidian shop and last stop was a small batch tequila shop. We loved their Reposado and Coffee Tequila. The rest of the tour would highly depend on your tour guide. We did not had a very enthusiastic or informative guide. So the tour was not as good as it could have been.

Everything is very beautiful! the jaguar hike to the river is for people who are used to hiking and wearing proper footwear. Would definitely return!

We really enjoyed this tour. San Sebastian was great, like stepping into the past. Beautiful and rustic. Our guide Jorge was terrific. Originally from a mountain town nearby and very knowledgeable. Many interesting stories and very educational. The side stops were all good. The van was comfortable and well-driven. A day well spent!

We were actually disappointed in this trip. This is the first time ever that a TripAdvisor excursion disappointed us. It was billed at 15 to 20 people. They were 35. The guy really had no idea how to handle this group which she said several times. Rather than saying, we have 20 minutes or I’ll meet you at 2 o’clock. People wandered off and people had to wait for others. We went to a church kind of wandered through ourselves and then she talked a little bit about it afterwards to whoever happened to be there. We went to a chocolate shop walked in, and you could buy chocolate or not. There was no greeting no showing you how the chocolate ran no samples it was going into any store anywhere. There was a delicious Mexican lunch. Again for people didn’t leave when everyone else did so again we waited for them to catch up because nothing had been said beforehand being in the Sierra Madre mountains was very nice. The scenery was nice. The trip overall was very average and a disappointment. We already have a trip in Portugal and a trip in Spain booked with TripAdvisor and I am certainly hoping this is a one off and not a pattern

The only reason I booked this particular trip to San Sebastián was that it was advertised as being capped at 15 people for an intimate experience, from the trip adviser website description. What we got was 29 people and a bus that had no seatbelts, AC was broken, along with several of the seats and the windows hadn’t been washed in some time. Due to the large group, everything took twice as long, waiting for everyone to have a restroom break, waiting for everyone to finish shopping, waiting for everyone to walk to the restaurant, you can see where I’m going with this. The only saving grace was the guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. The bus driver was skilled and it was neither of their faults the group size was pretty much double as advertised. The tequila tour at San Sebastian Tequila was great, except all I could see during the owner’s explanation was the back of someone’s head. (Too many people). Next stop San Sebastián which was a quaint little town, very clean and the lunch served family style in the restaurant was very good food and enjoyable. I doubt I will ever book another tour through trip advisor. I am shocked they had no regard for our personal safety and they lied in their advertising.

Excellent tour guide, Jorge was familiar with the area and had answers for all our questions. We really appreciated his knowledge of the area.
