Marcos was ready for us when we arrived. Great conversation on the way to the hotel. The tour company did an excellent job communicating leading up to the trip, as our flight was delayed and they reached out to let us know ow everything was still arranged.

Based on reviews we read, used 'Vallarta Vamonos' (VV) private transport service on arrival and departure for Puerto Vallarta airport (PVR) for our very first visit. After claiming our luggage upon arrival, met VV personnel, Antonio & Mary, outside the terminal where vehicles were stationed for pickup. Greeted us with a sip of Tequila and choice of water or beer. Driver then quickly got us to Marriott resort in a private car. Same great transport service on the day of our departure from the resort to PVR. We also hired VV to provide us with a 2-hour auto/walking tour of of Puerto Vallarta downtown areas to better understand where many of the interesting sites were. Helped us identify sites that we wanted to visit more extensively later on during our trip. And were easily able to communicate with VV during our stay using both email and text messaging. Great 5-star service at a reasonable price that made our rookie season visit to PV very non-stressful. Will be using VV next year when we do our return visit.

Do not exchange dollars a euros before you pass the customs. It’s best to exchange at a bank, a reputable bank outside the airport or use ATM before the custom exchange rate is very dismal. Rest of the airport was fine.

Simple and small but functional international airport outside the city. Do have a lounge and Priority Pass should get you in.

Less crowded, Fast service, taxi driver don’t bother you if you tell them u have your own transportation

The driver met us at the airport and took us to our hotel. We asked for a stop to take a couple of photos. For the return trip, we agreed in advance with the driver. The driver would be very loyal and agreed to change our time to pick up. In general, the service was good.

Buckhorn Transportation : We used Buckhorn from Durango Airport to Purgatory Ski Resort. Couldn’t be happier with them. First Class operation. Highly recommend !!! We will 100% use them on our next ski trip to Purgatory.

It was non-flying weather and our driver carefully took us to the airport and on the return trip. Always kept in touch and helped us with advice. The service deserves 5 stars. I recommend

Awesome choice. Avoid the gauntlet at the airport and book this transfer. Driver waits for you outside and car is right up front. Even called to check on us as security was taking a little longer.

We waited over an hour to get our ride. I feel the idea of upgrading to a private transfer is that your ride will be waiting for you. We did a round trip package with them. They talked us in leaving our hotel at 9 am and our flight wasn’t until 4 pm. It made for a VERY long day.

I think private transfers are made for vacations :))) you are met at the airport, nice man helped you with luggage, offered water, you have a ride to your destination in a cool and comfortable car. it's good that there are companies that meet your expectations and only improve the travel experience.

One taxi company has a monopoly on airport service, now they charge whatever they want! The other cabs can't go in there for pickups! Ridiculous, 560 pesos to Ixtapa, should be half that! They say 280 pesos per person! Airport mafia! Everyone complain, maybe the Airport authorities will change it!
