    Amazing Food Tour
My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time on this food tour. Our guide Enya was very knowledgable and informative. The quality and variety of the food at the different stops was great. I really appreciate that this tour partners with family owned / long standing businesses in the area and each had something very different and authentic. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to taste great food and learn about the culture and history of the Roma neighborhood.

    Fabulous tour with Joseph!
My son and I signed up for this tour just a day or two beforehand and boy were we glad we did. It was a fabulous tour! The food and restaurants were interesting and delicious, and the architecture and neighborhood history were fascinating. But all that was brought to life by the best part of the tour: Joseph. We take a lot of tours, and he's one of the best guides we've ever had. He was so informative, open, thoughtful and interesting. Really a born guide, opening our eyes to so many things about Mexico City. Thank you Joseph and thank you Sabores Mexico!

    More than expected
Our guide, Naomi, was absolutely fantastic. What a great afternoon of food, information, and personality. We enjoyed all six of our chosen restaurants but if we chose two that stood out they would be Tres Galeones and just around the corner Cafe de Raiz. A wonderful Mexican and Mexico City experience.

Unique experience for family with teens
My family and I had the pleasure of attending a chocolate-tasting experience that was nothing short of extraordinary. Paty, the owner of the venue (Oscura Pura Chocolate y Semillas) is passionate about everything chocolate. She, alongside our guide, Stephanie, took us on a journey through time sharing fascinating stories about the origins of chocolate and its cultural significance. We also learned in detail about the chocolate-making process. Next, we were given a sampling of chocolates and taught how to enjoy them using our five senses. The highlight of the chocolate-tasting experience was when we were given a selection of cheeses, breads, fruits, and savory snacks to pair with our chocolates. We were pleasantly surprised by how well chocolate pairs with these accompaniments! If you are looking for something unique and fun, I highly recommend the Chocolate and Friends tasting experience.

    A chocolate experience and friends
The experience was lovely at chocolate and seeds shop, Oscuro Puro. The owner of the shop, Paty, gave a thoughtful and interesting presentation. Enya, from the tour company, did an excellent job translating Spanish to English for me. It's a delicious and delightful time.

    BEST food tour
This food tour is incredible. Our host, Stephanie, was fun, energetic and her love of the city is evident. It was the most enjoyable food tour I’ve ever done. We had a great group which added to the experience. You will learn about the history of the food, the area and architecture. Highly recommend

    Delicious!
Stephanie was an amazing tour guide. She shared so much of her archeological insight with us, and we all learned so much about the neighborhood from her. The food and drinks were amazing, and Stephanie paced us out perfectly. Great value! Highly recommend! <3

    We’d do it again …
This food tour exceeded our expectations. Not only did we have a lovely bunch of fellow tourists but our tour guide, Stephanie, was informative, happy and knowledgeable. We certainly didn’t walk away hungry or thirsty and would highly recommend this as a tour not to be missed.

    Simply the best ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The only regret I have about the tour is that I didn’t take it at the very beginning of my trip so I could go back to all the places we visited and were mentioned and go on her other food tours. It was incredible. I had the best fish tacos in my life, the best red wine I’ve ever had in my life. The food was amazing. The neighborhood tour so interesting. All the people in the group so amiable. It was more than 5 stars. I plan to go on all the other tours on my next trip to the DF. Bravo best

Highlight of our visit to CDMX
A delicious and fun evening. Guide Jonathan was fun and informative and the diversity of neighborhoods and shops we visited was great. It was a highlight of our visit to CDMX, and I highly recommend it. But pace yourself with the tacos! Lots of food and you will want to enjoy it all.

My food tour in Mexico City was one of the things I was most looking forward to and it did not disappointed. My guide was waiting for me at the first stop which was not the case for my other tours so I appreciated the professionalism. That was just the start she went over our plan for the day, provided a bottle of water and hand sanitizer so we could maintain our safety throughout the day. The second stop on our was kind of a 4 in 1 as we stopped at the market. I really enjoyed getting to meet each of the stand owners and hear about their stories and about the market overall. We also stopped at a couple street vendors for tacos and tostadas, both of which were delicious and I was glad I got to try places that were legit. I like to try street food my travels but I am always wary of which places to go so this was nice to enjoy the food. Another fun stop was at the traditional cantina, soccer on the TV and enjoyable environment. I opted not to eat I was pretty full buti had a nice cocktail so that was perfect. Then to round out a great day we stopped at the oldest candy shop in the city which was an extra treat because of Dia de los Muertos. Overall the tour was great and I felt very confident that all safety precautions were taken to maintain for both my and the guides safety.

The tour in Spanish with Laura was absolutely wonderful. Laura is lovely, deeply knowledgable and passionate about the food and history of Mexico City; and very accommodating. Eight different tastings and experiences, all delicious and well-curated. We had the tour on a holiday so Laura adjusted the itinerary to ensure they we had a full experience despite a couple of the regular establishments being closed. I've been to Mexico City dozens of times and still learned so much about the history of the city; and made of list of so many great things to do there from Laura's tips. Perfect way to start a visit to Mexico City. Felt good about supporting the company as well. Very well done. Highly recommended.

Kiomi was an excellent guide. She is trained in culinary and was able to answer any questions we had along the excellent food tour. I mentioned that I am interested in architecture so she also took time to point out important buildings along the way. The food was a nice mix of interesting and excellent. My entire group was pleasantly surprised and I highly recommend her.

This was a fantastic experience. The current pandemic has forced many tour operators to suspend their activities but this one is still going strong. The tour guide, Grace, couldn't have been more kind and accomodating, given that the day of the tour I was the only customer. The tour itself is very well thought out, and it includes stops at restaurants, taquerias, markets and street food stalls (each accompanied by a story regarding the origin of the food as well as their creators). The food was of course amazing and well varied. Interspersed among the food stops the guide also describes some local interesting points (churches, schools, libraries ecc.).
Don't miss the opportunity to book this tour if you're ever lucky to be in Mexico City someday!

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon with Jimena as our tour guide and the two families who joined us, as well as Enya! The afternoon flowed perfectly from a Oaxacan restaurant to Mercado San Juan and several cantinas, ending with a perfect candy stop. We highly recommend this tour for all visiting Mexico City for all its culinary and cultural delights! Jimena taught us lots about the culinary local history as well as cultural local history! A perfect afternoon in the Centro neighborhood. We tried so many different foods and were very satisfied at the end. Muchas Gracias!

This is the best way to get a crash course in Mexico City cuisine. I did the Spanish tour with Majo who did an incredible job supplementing knowledge about each dish with Mexico City history as we walked between locations. Each item of food was divine, the torta was my favorite, but the best 5 hours I spent in my time in the city

This was a great introduction to cuisine in Mexico City that gave us the confidence to explore on our own in the days after the tour. The food on the tour was imaginative, authentic, and there was a good variety of savory, traditional, sweet, and adventurous. We starred one of the restaurants on the tour to make a trip back it was so good!

We were lucky enough to have the owner, Rodrigo, as our guide for just my husband and I. He was easy to talk to, candid with us about other recommendations around the city, and had great context/stories about the chefs, restaurants, and historical places. Without him, we would not have dared to try street food ceviche (!), insects, and fresh fruit - but we would have been missing out. You can tell that Rodrigo and co. put a lot of care into designing the tour and have great relationships with the vendors. Would highly recommend!

This food tour and the walk around the historic centre of CDMX is certainly worth doing to get a flavour of the people and culture as well as the food of course. San Juan market was a highlight. Jimena, our guide for one so young, is confident and passionate about her heritage and the Mexican cuisine. She is very personable and affable. We went from a posh establishment to a typical cantina and absorbed the sites and architecture of the old city. All in all a good way to see the sights and taste the variety of dishes, albeit a little too pricey. We had food tours in Buenos Aires, Santiago and Bogota and this was the most expensive.

We took our first ever food tour with Grace and Sabores Mexico in a tour of Centro Historico. The tour was five hours long and extremely comprehensive. Grace was very personable, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions. The tour was very well thought-out. This is not your typical taco tour. They really take you to a variety of locations with a variety of tasting opportunities! We learned a lot about the foodways of Mexico City and also different aspects of food culture in markets, cantinas and street food stands. Thanks, Grace for a wonderful experience! Would recommend

Our Historic Center Food Tour with Rodrigo was excellent! We only had one full day in Mexico City, and this was the perfect way to spend it. We got to try food at eight different places, as well as some cocktails. Rodrigo was very knowledgeable about the history of each restaurant we visited & he also gave us a tour of the historic center, including a detailed history of the city and various landmarks along the way. I highly recommend this tour.
