          Outstanding private tour!
Such a great day with our guide, Roberto, & driver, Mr. Paez (Luis). We appreciated the thoughtfully planned tour stops along with the interesting stories shared. Lunch overlooking the pyramids was wonderful & we enjoyed our stop in the Teotihuacan village. Our Lady of Guadalupe took our breath away. We came home with a new appreciation of Mexican history & a desire to learn more.

Our tour guide Gabriela was excellent, as was the driver Luis. Gabriela knew a lot about the area and showed us many cool things. She was also great about knowing where to take the best photos!

Very informative trip. Our guide and driver went above and beyond. Traffic was exceptionally congested and they stayed much longer letting us see everything without cutting it short. Very sweet.

The Sun and the Moon temples of the Aztecs
My wife and myself took the private tour of Teotihuacan and Guadalupe Shine on February 27th. Our guide was Jens and driver Luis. Mr. Jen’s came to hotel lobby precisely at 9 AM as scheduled. We were ready in the lobby. Jens was very professional. Throughout the trip he explained to us everything we needed to know. He gave us excellent descriptions of the Teotihuacan Sun and the Moon pyramids. He took us to these pyramids from different entrances. He also took us to nice lunch area. Then took us to art factory where they manufacture fine artifacts. Finally we went to Guadalupe temple. I strongly recommend going to this Trip. You will be mighty pleased.

we had a fantastic day with jose. he was knowledgeable and super accommodating, he answered all of our questions and had a delightful sense of humor. and even though we didn’t include the sit down lunch, he took us to tacos don toño for some excellent carnitas on the go. and we had a little time to spare, so we stopped at a pulque and obsidian shop to learn about the process of making both. really fab day all around.

          Great tour
This tour is not to be missed. Incredible site! Make sure you stop at Temple of feathered serpents. The basilica was an amazing experience as well. Our tour guide, Veronica, was fun and knowledgeable, full of entertaining stories. The tour was fully private for 9 of us in a comfortable van. We all enjoyed it.

Our private day tour from CDMX to Tula and Topotzotlan was an amazing experience. Our guide Ramon was incredibly knowledgeable about both places and eager to share his appreciation of their histories with us. I have been on many tours to many historical sites around the world, and Ramon was one of the best guides I've experienced by far. His knowledge of both Tula and Topotzotlan (as well as all things having to do with pre-Columbian and Mexican history in general) made our experiences of both places simply fascinating. He was always ready to answer the many questions we had with a smile, and went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable visit. We also appreciated our driver Carlos who after picking us up at our Airbnb in CDMX ensured we made it everywhere we were going safely and efficiently. Tula is a lesser visited archaeological site than the more popular nearby site of Teotihuacan, but no less enthralling when you learn about the history of the enigmatic Toltecs who created and ultimately abandoned it. And a visit to the Jesuit College in Topotzotlan with its beautiful high baroque architecture and rich colonial history is something you won't soon forget. The tour came with a delicious lunch overlooking the historic square of Tepotzotlan and sweeping views of the city. I highly recommend booking a tour with Ramon and visiting both of these fascinating places on your next visit to Mexico City.

If you are considering this tour, like me, you must be interested in Mesoamerican history. Teotihuacan was amazing, the Museo del Templo Mayor was well worth the visit, and the National Museum of Anthropology was world class, but I was interested in seeing some of the lesser known or traveled sites. Tula did not disappoint. This Toltec site is over 2000 years old, it is truly ancient. It rose to prominence between 900 and 1150 AD sometime after the demise of the Teotihuacan civilization and before the ascent of the Aztecs. It is believed that the Toltec's heavily influenced the Aztecs, especially through their feathered serpent god Quetzalcoatl, who is very much linked to Tula. In fact, the main attraction at Tula is the Pyramid of Quetzalcoatla with its 16 foot tall monoliths or Atlantean columns. Standing next to these ancient monuments is truly an experience, one that I am grateful that I had the opportunity to have.

I highly recommend the tour if you are at all interested in Mesoamerican history. I booked a private tour through Mexico Tour Freelance for my girlfriend and myself as well as another couple and their 20 something daughter, so there was five of us total. We were picked up in our hotel lobby a little before 9 AM by our guide Alejandra. She was awesome, very knowledgeable, and able to answer all our questions. Our driver was Luis who was friendly and very competent at his job. He drove us to the site in a comfortable van, and even though the trip to Tula was over an hour, the time was more than occupied with conversation amongst ourselves and Alejandra, our guide. After arriving at Tula, we toured a small museum and then went on to the site itself, which required about a 15 minute walk. The site is amazing. As mentioned earlier the Pyramid of Quetzalcoatla with its Atlantean columns is the main attraction, but there is also a second pyramid and two ball courts as well as other ruins to view. For those interested in picking up a souvenir, there is a section of the path leading to the site lined with at least a dozen open air stands selling all kinds stuff. I picked up a 12-14 inch replica of one of the Atlantean columns and and my girlfriend bought a tshirt. If you buy a souvenir, don't be afraid to barter with the merchants, they will always lower their price some if you barter with them. In total, we spent more than two hours at the site before going on to Tepotzotlan for lunch and the rest of the tour. Unfortunately, the Jesuit convent was closed to the public the day we arrived, so instead we spent an enjoyable hour or so browsing the outdoor market in the main square. I did not mind at all, Tula was what I really wanted to see. After we had our fill of the market, we were driven back to our hotel arriving sometime around 4 PM. Visiting Tula was truly amazing and definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Mexico.

Both the Tula and Tepotzotlan trips were excellent. Brenda was the tour guide and Pedro was the driver. Brenda showed us some of the local markets. The food there was great. This trip give a good feel for Mexico and local life as well as the historical sights.

We engaged a private tour to Tula and Tepotzotlan, which was guided by Arturo Ramirez, with a driver, Pedro. Arturo was very knowledgeable and entertaining, and pointed out things at Tula that we never would have noticed or appreciated had we tried to do the trip on our own. Stopped along the way for Pasties at a roadside stand (brought to Mexico by Cornish miners and not unlike the UK version, except with chilis!) which were excellent. Tepotzotlan was a lovely town with good restaurants for a nice change of pace after the ruins. Pedro navigated everything expertly and was always where he was supposed to be when he was supposed to be there. Highly recommended for an excursion from Mexico City!

We chose this tour specifically because we wanted to see one of the less-visited archeological sites. This trip seemed ideal because it combined prehispanic ruins with a visit to a Spanish colonial religious site. This tour didn't disappoint! Our tour guide Brenda was an amazing information source - I've never had a tour guide that was able to distill literally centuries of history into such easily understandable explanations. It was like having our own personal history professor to lead us around the sites. Our driver Arturo was incredibly professional and made our trip so enjoyable and easy. Both of them made our tour a great experience. I will absolutely go with this tour company again (and probably ask for Brenda and Arturo).
