With an expert guide, explore the well-preserved pre-Columbian city of Teotihuacán, and then discover the capital of the Toltec Empire with a stop at Tula. Take a walk on the Avenue of the Dead, which connects the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon to other buildings in the complex. As you explore, your guide explains the significance of each site and ruin. Tula, the ancient capital of the Toltec Empire. Climb the 5-tiered Pyramid of Quetzalcoatl, also known as the Pyramid of the Morning Star, to see the massive Atlantes columns at its top. Each of the columns is carved into the likeness of a Toltec warrior and reaches 13feet/4 in height.
