Private Mexico City Mural Art Tour
Neene was professional and an exceptional guide for the Mural Art Tour in Mexico City. Her enthusiasm for her subject matter was contagious as she demonstrated an in depth knowledge of muralism. Her English communication skills were terrific which made it easy to grasp the art and its history as she talked about it. Neene was a pleasure to spend time with and we look forward to additional tours with her when we next return to Mexico City.

Best way to learn about the murals in CDMX
Armando did a fantastic job of explaining the thinking and artistry behind the murals in the Palace of Fine Arts and in other locations. This was one of my favorite tours because it put so much context and meaning behind the artwork. Armando brought the murals to life by telling stories about the issues of the times and the intent of the artist. Highly recommended!

More than a photo shoot, a memory
Hiram was warm and personable and scouted fantastic locations for our empty nester/anniversary/birthday/family/senior photo session. Instead of something to drag our teenagers to, it was a fun experience for all of us - the perfect endcap to our trip. The photos were affordable and turned out beautifully and the editing process was fast. We will cherish these photos and the fun we had during the session. Highly recommend!

      Timelessly capturing our moments!
Amazing!!! Truly a fantastic experience with Hiram! From the very beginning of being picked up at our resort, through all the different photo shoot locations, Hiram was welcoming, kind, and outgoing. We did a couples shoot throughout different areas of Playa del Carmen and Hiram knew the best places to get excellent photos taken. Bonus was the hospitality from Hiram and ease of conversation, as well as good recommendations of where to go around the city. Highly recommend using Hiram if you are at all considering having professional photos taken while on vacation!

      Family Time in Puerto Vallarta
Went on a tour with my family (2 parents, 3 college aged children). Paula was our guide. One child said, 'Paula crushed i!.' Another didn't want the tour to end. He was so interested in the history and walking around the town. I would totally book again and request Paula. Above and beyond and so very patient with my family of 5. Thanks Paula. ❤️

Our Mural Art Tour with Neene: A Five-Star experience!
Our guide Neene provided an amazing experience for us during our private mural art tour in Mexico City. She arrived promptly and introduced us to the Muralist movement, as well as a sampling of muralists working at the time. We spent time talking about each mural at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, the Museuo Mural Diego Rivera and the House of Tiles. Neene answered our questions and deftly wove history and culture together. Truly a five-star experience and we would gladly take part in another tour with Neene!

An Art Tour not to be missed.
Our Art Tour was exceptional. The main reason was our excellent guide Neene. She was friendly a d very knowledgeable. Her selection of galleries were diverse and very interesting. One highlight was the great opportunity to see some of the artists studios. A worthwhile experience.

      Fantastic Walking Tour of PV
We had a fantastic time on the Puerto Vallarta walking tour with Isabel as our guide! She was incredibly informative, prompt, and attentive, answering all our questions and sharing plenty of fun facts about the city. Despite the heat, Isabel made sure we stopped in shaded areas, which made the experience so much more enjoyable. Her knowledge and thoughtful approach truly enriched our visit. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a deeper insight into Puerto Vallarta!

      Thumbs Up
Neene was a fantastic tour guide for our party of 7. She was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to our group. She paced the tour to fit our schedule and that was appreciated, but at same time, we didn't feel like we missed anything. Highly recommend this tour.

      More than what was expected.
This was the easiest and most comfortable photo session i have ever taken part of. The areas we were taken in were breathtaking. Hiram has a great eye and an impeccable vision. I also received my proofs with in 24 hours. DO NOT HESITATE, book the photo session. This was our first time in Mexico and I must admit we were a little hesitant about going out of the resort. But Hiram made us feel very comfortable and took us on a great tour of the city as well.

      Great Session
We were greeted by Hiram. He was very pleasant and social. Also gave some back story of everywhere we went. He even picked us up from the hotel for a little more cost. Much easier on convenient imo. He took us to some great place and a number of great different poses. I haven’t received the pictures yet but I’m sure they will be nice as he used a professional camera. I will update on pictures after o get them.

      Great Art and History Tour
Took a 2-hour art and history tour with Paula. We saw the work of many local famous muralists, we learned about the history of the mountain people and walked about and sampled local crafts, food and prices. She was terrific. Highly recommend!

I love the history, art, and biblio of Frida so when I thought of coming to CDMX, I wanted to visit her home and see firsthand where she was and where the artist did her magic. It's a must-see!! Our tour guide was Ruben and he was so knowledgeable of everything. So sweet. He allowed me to interrupt and ask questions that came to mind. I suggest you watch the Frida movie with Salma H before to get a basic understanding of her story. The exhibition is not big but what they do have, is incredible. There is SO much detail in every room if you take the time to appreciate the nuances. The House itself is huge and the garden so pretty! They charge $30 pesos to be allowed to take photos with your phone otherwise you're not allowed to. Weird. I highly recommend this tour. I stayed in Polanco and got an Uber ride out here. A bit far but so worth it. It was like 40 mins with traffic. The tour was just my partner, tour guide, and me. So personalized.

Our guide, Neene, made our time at the house more meaningful and enjoyable. She had a method of moving us through the crowds and finding the perfect spots to explain the features of the house and the life of its inhabitants. We have seen a previous traveling Kahlo exhibit before but being in the house where Frida worked and lived was the perfect way to appreciate her all too short life.

The guide was knowledgeable but we have had better guides on other tours. It wasn’t too crowded which was good but the museum didn’t have many works by Frida now as there is a special exhibit about her life. We were disappointed by that and would wait until the paintings are back. The space is small so if it is crowded it would be unbearable.

We booked this tour for the Frida Museum (which comes with the ticket included) for a specific day and timing, and was later told that there were no more tickets left for that day. The only options were to go on a later date (but we would have left Mexico by then). By the time we tried to just buy regular tickets (without the tour guide) all the tickets were sold out. Had we have just booked the normal tickets first we at least would have been able to see the museum. Now we will not even be able to see it, Very disappointing.

Frida Kahlo has long amazed me so I was thrilled to see where she lived and worked for many years. We did it as a part of a bike tour (also amazing to see the history of old Mexico City up close) so we were able to "skip the line" with these tickets .... which is always a bonus. A must-see if you're in Mexcio City!

Not an English language tour, despite our confirmed booking. The guide was late and then a Spanish language only tour group jointed and they were even later. The guide focused on the Spanish speakers and we trailed behind. The guide was nice but it was hard to ask questions since the guide kept having to attend to the Spanish group and delivery of tour information was choppy. Seems like a good museum but we only got part of the story. Very disappointed. Do not recommend.

Good morning, Catherine. My name is Anastasiya, I'm the director of City Art Tours Mexico. I’m very sorry that you left the tour disappointed. According to the Mexican tour regulations the group tours could be held in two languages, in our case: Spanish and English. All our guides are bilingual and professionally trained to provide equal information in both languages. If the guests have more questions, we kindly inquire the guests to ask all the additional questions during the tour or at the end especially if they feel that the topic was uncovered. We are here for you. Indeed, our guide Neene came 2 min late, due to the late start of the morning tour that we informed you in advance. I'm sorry for her being late. The other couple arrived during the tolerance time. I apologize that your experience was disappointing. We will take into account your feedback and will do all our best that our guests would never have these situations. We are looking forward to seeing you in the future on one of our tours. Best regards, Anastasiya

Our guide, Estefania, was terrific. She is totally bilingual. She is really friendly and helpful. She is deeply knowledgeable about the subject of Frida and Diego. And she's a magical story-teller.
The site is really unforgettable. It is artistically unique, with an amazing combination of strong architecture, beautiful courtyards, and fantastic objects and works of art.
This was one of our favorite experiences in Mexico City.
    Highly recommended.

We booked this tour with ViaTour and attended on 28/12/19. When we got to the house there were enormous queues and the venue was sold out, but our guide had already purchased our tickets. The situation with tickets is complicated, as locals can enter faster than tourists, nonetheless we entered at our allotted time. This was a big bonus. We had a tour with Fito, a local artist, who was excellent at both explaining the house and the art, as well as taking a back seat and allowing us to take it all in. What we really enjoyed was how he explained Frida's influence on his own artistic practice, it was a very novel approach. He paced the tour very well, allowing us plenty of time and was more than willing to help with photos and the like. We would highly recommend this tour. It was a wonderful insight into a great artist and also that of a local contemporary artist as well. Thank you Fito! Thank you City Art Tours Mexico!
