About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- R2649BScolleenc0 contributionsFrida Kahlo and Diego Rivera studio tour!Omar is a truly gifted guide. He brought the stories of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera alive for us, and included so many interesting bits of information about them. He was particularly gifted in connecting with each of us, regardless of age. I would give him my highest marks!Written 2 January 2025
- Fabio_Alves_Jr0 contributionsSmooth and pleasant tourWe reserved our tour through Trip Advisor and were immediately contacted by Interliv Travel, the partner company which provided the service. We were picked up at our Airbnb flat punctually at 7:30am and left Mexico City after picking up other fellow travellers. The drive to Cholula and Puebla was smooth with nice Mexican music playing on the background. Our bilingual guide, Julio Cesar, explained details of the tour as we travelled. First, we went to Cholula where we visited the amazing church of Tonanzintla where one finds marvellous indigenous-oriented ceiling and wall decorations. After visiting the main church at the top of the former Aztecan pyramid, we headed for Puebla. We had lunch at a local restaurant and that was the only part of the trip we didn’t like. For our taste, the food left a lot to be desired. After lunch, we visited the church of Santo Domingo and the Cathedral. Then, our guide left us to stroll around on our own for about 90 minutes. We appreciated the opportunity. We left Puebla shortly after 4pm and Carlos, our driver, brought us back to CDMX in his smooth driving style. Along the way, the guid played a wonderful animation film called Coco which magically portrays the feuds and bonds of a Mexican family. The film nicely completed our tour experience. We were dropped off at our place shortly after 6pm and were very happy with the tour. We highly recommend it.Written 31 December 2024
- Louis M0 contributionsOk trip - but could have been betterA lot of time spent in a bus, which we expected as Mexico City is a large city, but way too much time was spent in picking people up (we were picked up at 8:15am, last couple was picked up at 9:15am, so first hour of our trip was not a tour at all, just logistics). First they took us to a random metal and jewelers worker’s shop, which was nice but not on the tour description, out of the way of the main attractions, and clearly an effort to get us to buy merch at the store. There was a 5 min metal etching presentation, which was interesting, but not worth the nearly 60 min we spent getting there, visiting the store, and then continuing with our trip. We then went to the University to look at murals, which was nice, but again, the logistics were poor. They dropped us off by the stadium, we then walked to the other side of the campus park to look at murals, and at last mural there was an empty parking lot, but instead of our bus being there to pick us up, we had to walk back to the original drop off point, so what could have been a 30 min visit stretched out to almost an hour. We finally got to the first “main attraction” - the Xochimilco waterways and gardens. It took almost another hour to get us on the boat and out of the dock area (although not sure our tour operators could have done anything about it, as logjam was due to the many boats trying to fit through a very narrow opening into the canal from the docs - think of it as a 6-lane highway merging into one lane). That said, they brought us drinks and took our lunch orders while we sat on the boat waiting to get to the canal, which was fun and festive, so we didn’t mind the wait as much and had a good time meeting and socializing with the rest of the group. That said, all the delays and logistical challenges meant that we didn’t get to the main reason for the trip - the Frida Kahlo house and museum - until 3:45pm, and thus only had 30-40 min to visit the house (and zero time to visit the neighborhood of Coyoacán - which some group members chose to do instead of the museum). As such, we were rushed and couldn’t help thinking how much time we wasted earlier in the day that would have been better spent visiting the museum for longer AND visiting Coyoacan (instead of limited time doing one or the other). If we had to do it over again, we would have taken a private tour which, while slightly more expensive, would have made the trip significantly more enjoyable.Written 29 December 2024
- Leon J0 contributionsA fun tripIt was a really fun trip, Dante was a great guide and super fun to talk to. The only reason I'm not leaving a 5 is that I think, if someone shows up sick (coughing fits, sneezing, etc) they should be required to wear a mask if they want to take the trip in such a small van without putting the rest of the group at risk.Written 8 December 2024
- Yadira M0 contributionsGreat experience 👍Luis was very informative about the city of mexico and history and how many people estimate live there. Made us girls feel safe pickup from the airport and back. There is a separate charge rate if your plane sends u to a different AIFA arriving. Its extra because that side is new but he explained to us y and that's always a good thing when he explained the different landing spots. Over all very pleased with the service thank you very much will be using him again for future mexico city transportation.Written 15 October 2024

- Vicki_E0 contributionsNothing positive to sayWe left early and then went to a shop…. There were interesting parts, stops at the university, the stadium, but the main event, the boat trip was very touristy, selling food, selling jewellery, the mariachi bands were not enjoying it any more than us. Interestingly, the Mexicans and some others found it very enjoyable but the Anglos not so much. Definitely couldn’t recommend this tripWritten 5 September 2024

- G2197VBmaries0 contributionsNice tourVery comfy van, all perfectly on time, kind team. Not the most in-depth explanations. They seemed to have changed the schedule a little bit, spontaneously. We still saw great locations, just adressing it would be niceWritten 5 June 2024
- 594jenis0 contributionsPuebla, churches and adventureA beautiful day visiting some stunning churches and wandering Puebla, tour itself was great. Day was long, this isn't becessarily clear on booking.. take extra water and snacks, and be prepared for a bumpy ride, belt required!! (extra bumpy when we were rear ended!). Activities were great. Lunch stop a bit average, not very able to adapt for dietary requirements well. For the cost probably could find better.Written 15 May 2024
- Elaine981100 contributionsPerformance at Bellas Artes in Mexico City.We got the tickets because they included transportation by InterLiv Travel to/from Bellas Artes. Our driver, Luis, was extremely knowledgeable about Mexico City and very personable, even following up the next day with ideas for places we would enjoy seeing. Luis’ English is excellent.Written 9 April 2024
- duyenn6230 contributionsPoor communicationNot organized tour. Did not inform me someone will meet me for tickets. We got there and we had to wait around for someone to show up. They bought tickets on Ticketmaster.com and charge you double the price. Tranportation was provided but you could purchase tickets from Ticketmaster.com and get Uber there back and forth would be much better. Transportation company is another third party. He did not know what time to pick up. We had to wait around for 30 mins. This is my first experience booking this website and was not very good. I complained to the person who contacted me and he knows it was their fault.Written 24 March 2024
- cac460 contributionsBe sure to read before traveling to Cholula and Puebla, MexicoMy husband and I were very excited about this trip, unfortunately it did not turn out as we had hoped. The pickup van was designated as T Zompa Tours--only mention of Viator was a man at the pickup telling us . We got on the van and there were only 3 English speakers out of 10 people. I had booked an English guide. Yes, the guide did speak English, but 90% of the tour was in Spanish, and 10 % in English. I feel that very little of what was told to the other guests was transmitted to us. I feel that if the tour is not all in English than that should be specified before booking. The lunch spot was fine, but the directions for seeing what was in Puebla were very vague and difficult to locate. However, it is a very lovely village. We would like to spend more time there. We stopped in Cholula to visit the cathedral that is on top of the pyramid. It was beautiful but to get to the church you must be able to climb to a high altitude with only steps and ramps. The view of the surrounding area is nice as you walk up ! Once you get to the top you must keep climbing to the top of the church. Not for people with any kind of mobility or breathing issues.Written 23 March 2024

Great Day Trip to the historic towns of Taxco and Cuernavaca. Taxco is a mist do attraction if you are a silver lover. You will be able to find shops with high quality jewelry pieces. They are both beautiful and charming towns with beautiful streets and churches. Javier our guide was very professional and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our trip. Definitely recommend .

Friendly and knowledgeable tour guide and great driver that made you feel safe. Our original date of our tour was cancelled about two hours before they were scheduled to pick us up due to van troubles so it's best to have a back up plan. Thankfully we were able to get on the same tour a few days later. Even though I asked what time an estimated time to return would be, the contact on whatsapp was off by three hours so best to not make any plans that evening and be sure to eat before getting back on the van since it takes a while to drop all the other passengers off.
