I booked this tour for my clients on a bachelorette party. We booked up every seat on the boat so they could have the cat to themselves because it had a maximum of 15 people through viatour. Clients showed up and they changed their ticket the morning of their trip and changed their boat and put them on with a bunch of other people on a different boat. Then charged them $1274 over and above the money they already paid! if they wanted to go by themselves. Left for the excursion two hours late, brought them back late with the clients missing their dinner reservations and refusing to compensate for this unethical gouge. Of course, after all this happened, the clients had a miserable time on top of it.

This trip was ok is you want about 20 minutes snorkeling after a long car ride and boat ride. Quick in and out of the water with little to see. then off to the island for the next 3 hours. To us we prefer snorkeling over wandering around on dry land. Overall was not worth the cost. Will not do this or recommend this trip.

During the trip a few pictures were taken using the optional service they offer. I was left with some contact information to pay for the pics but things got a little shaky, ran out of time and next thing you know I was back in USA without my pictures. I called Best Tours and spoke to Mr. Gerardo Gonzalez. Gerardo, took care of my request as if it was his own problem: contacted the boat crew, found out the photographer's name, contacted his employer and they contacted me back through my WhatsApp. Now I have these amazingly beautiful pictures in my possession and all thanks to the professionalism and diligence of Best Tours in Mexico and its best employee: Gerardo Gonzalez. We didn’t get any news of when we were gonna get picked up after being contacted several times. I then called trip advisor customer service and was told that transportation was confirmed by the company. Our van never showed up and they called us and said that in fact the transportation wasn’t confirmed. We had to cancel our whole booking since we had no other day to reschedule on our vacation. Mind you we booked this months in advance. Luckily we were able to find another one for the day of but it was double the price. A very disappointing experience would not recommend.

Sadly I cannot actually write a review because my tour never happened. Being the in hospitality industry myself I know how much hard work it is to get to a spot where you become a super host and have great reviews. And one of those things is to get your first review - so you are forever grateful for that first person who took a chance on you. And this is the one reason why I wanted to support this company. The other reason was that they offered a pick up in Puerto Morelos - which is where I stayed (even from my hotel). Perhaps I should have known that it might be too good to be true. I booked this trip for the last day of my stay in Puerto Morelos because it seemed like such a fantastic way to end my holiday. I also was keen to see a bit of Cancun and then Isla Mujeres and was really looking forward. ' To start with all went well. Go an email confirming my booking. I wrote back and confirmed my hotel and got an email saying that pick up time will be confirmed the morning of the trip. By midmorning there was no confirmation I and I sent another message to which I got no response. Seeing that time was running out I now tried to get hold of the "agent" and eventually found a WA number - there was no response to my WA. Eventually found a telephone number, but seemed that this was another more reputable company with the same name. So, now beginning to wonder how legit this all is. I sat watching as the clock ticked by and realizing that the yacht has now departed from Cancun and I am still in Puerto Morelos waiting for confirmation of my pick up - I cancelled the booking and contact Viator to cancel the booking. I did get a response back. After the boat departed - telling me that the staff had a mix up and that I would be refunded. Losing the money would have been an issue as it was not cheap, but loosing the opportunity to make memories does not have a price. My whole day was eventually waisted and I will most probably not be back in Mexico for a long time (if ever) and never got the opportunity to see the island.

False advertising. There was no catamaran, boat was smaller than advertised, no snorkeling, and most of all did not take us to isla mujeres which is the reason why we booked in the first place. Crew members were nice and no issue with them, just did not do anything of what was advertised.

Incredible experience. Definitely worth doing, although a few little negatives. - the staff are great - friendly and helpful. - but they’re difficult to hear on the boat so a lot of us were confused about what was going on. Also the photographer is constantly trying to get you to pose so they can sell you photos afterwards. - the snorkelling was fantastic, (make sure you use the flippers as it helps a lot!), and the views are incredible. - the buffet lunch was really bad. Awful cold and overcooked food. Crazy busy queues as all the boat tours get dropped there. Nice little beach there but the food was really awful. Defo pack a lunch. - everything else was incredible.

5 hr trip with smaller group was perfect for us. Transportation from hotel & back was perfect. Captain & crew supplied everything as promised.

This tour was great! They are super organized and safe. We had to move our tour to the next day because of weather, and they were willing to do that or let us cancel for a full refund. We really wanted to do the tour and opted to change it to the next day, and it worked out wonderfully! We are really glad we did. The boat is smaller than the huge catamaran tour boats, which was nice. There were only 11 people in our group (but they book up to 25), and they had several crew. They had professional photographers taking pictures of the entire day which was nice because I could keep my phone tucked away and just enjoy the boat ride and snorkling. Once we got to Isla Mujeres, we had two hours to shop or go to the beach or both. It was a great way to get there and have just enough time to see the island. I highly recommend this tour!

Excellent tour to Isla Mujeres. Very good service. The boat is nice and clean, the captain and crew are welcoming and super fun. Isla Mujeres is a great destination to enjoy the local culture. I recommend this tour!

I went on this tour with my girlfriend, we had a great time on the boat with all the crew and the rest of the passengers, it was a nice group. We had open bar drinks all the time, the guacamole&chips with mexican not spicy sauce were delicious. Snorkeling was a very nice experience we got surprised with the size of the underwater statues and had the chance to be sorrounded by fish all over us while swimming. Once we arrived to Isla Mujeres we rented a golf car to go around it, at the south side of the island you can get amazing photos and see all the blue clear colors on the back, once we got back to downtown we walk by the main street grab some food, pretty tasty and stay for about half hour on the north side beach called "Playa Norte" wich basically means that. It's a naturall swimming pool and there are palms all over the place so you don't need anything else to have a Corona Beach Moment!
