- Our friendly staff will wait for you outside of the arrival's terminal in Cancun Airport. Please note this airport has many terminals so please contact us for specific instructions. Upon arrival into Cancun International Airport (CUN) please take the Tour Operators and Travel Agencies exit gates. We will be waiting for you outside of the terminal holding a banner with your name and our company Logo. Please be aware of timeshare salesmen and pirate taxi drivers between Customs and the exit gates, they will approach you and entice you with too good to be truth deals or saying we already left, just avoid them and continue walking to the exit gates where our staff will be looking for you. Once contacted, our Staff will hand you all Ferry Tickets needed in your Reservation (one way or Round Trip) and will drop you off at the Ferry Terminal main entrance so you can skip the line and easily board the speed boat to cross to Isla Mujeres . Due to a local law in Isla Mujeres, Private companies are not able to provide ground services in the Island so that part of your service will be on your own and we recomend to pick a Taxi right outside of the Terminal.

- 434lisar0 contributionsWe do not recommend this shuttle company!When we booked our trip to Cancun, the company we booked with provided Shuttle Central as our transportation to our resort. Prior to our trip, we provided our flight information and arrival time to them as requested. When we arrived in Cancun, we followed their instructions to go outside the terminal and was advised they would be waiting for us. They were not there! A different transport agent asked if they could assist and called Shuttle Central for us to find out where they were. We were advised they would not arrive to pick us up for possibly another 1 1/2 hours!!! We found alternate transportation to our resort instead and let Shuttle Central know we would not be using them for our return flight. They texted me, warning me to travel past all other taxis and services. Just as they said, they were standing outside waiting for me. Nice clean ride, informative driver. I booked and paid up front when my flight was delayed on 1 hour!!!!!, I gave them 18 hours notice and they refused to pick me up, again 1 hour delay!!!! They forced to me to book a new ride with full price, no credit, no part payment, absolutely nothing. They don’t have there own fleet or drivers, looks like just resale bids to drivers. I had the flight tracker and of course kept them up to date with everything, I was outside with more than enough time, I called them and they said someone will be there. Five calls later a fake image and a guy pretending to call my name no sign either which I asked for but no sign, they never showed up. They will not be keeping my money.. - Paradise387799267500 contributionsNever use Shuttle centralShuttle Central left me and my children stranded in Cancun at 1am in the morning. We had a delay in our flight due to weather conditions in Texas. I text my driver to let him know, he advised me to contact customer service. I called customer service, but they would not help because I did not have my reservation number so after finding this I called back, let them know what was happening, how long the delay was and let them know what time we would be in, they advised they would inform the driver and let me know further instructions. When we arrived in Cancun, we were told by Shuttle central that we were a no show and there was nothing they could do, it was the driver’s discretion to whether they waited or not. It also means nothing if you contact them to let them know, the driver shows up and they get paid! I ended up paying $110 for a taxi. On the way back from the hotel to the airport, they just forgot us. We ended up getting an Uber (FYI Uber cannot pick you up from the airport) Shuttle central did send me an email apologizing for this and offered my money back for this portion of what I had paid. I emailed back asking about the first part of my airport transfer and my reply was. Upon reviewing your case thoroughly, we have noted that the situation arose from No Show on your arrival service. This is because the waiting time of the scheduled service was exceeded, and unfortunately it was not possible for the driver to wait more time for you. Unfortunately, due to these circumstances, with the services marked as “No Show” we are unable to proceed with any form of compensation. In this case, we can verify that the driver came to pick you up and was at the airport at the original time, but he couldn't wait for the delayed flight. That's the main reason why we could not manage a refund, really sorry for this inconvenience. On the other hand, talking about the changes requested 24 hours before your service (Including flight changes), note that they are under the driver's availability, in your case it wasn't possible to make it because he had scheduled other services before yours, and he had been unable to modify the logistics. Nice reply Shuttle central but you could have just said “Basically you are just screwed if your driver does not want to wait for you” and we will not do a damn thing about it. They ended the email with that they value my trust and hope that they can provide excellent service to me in the future. What a joke!!! I will NEVER use Shuttle Central again. I will make it clear to anybody how useless this company is in what should be an important job. Especially for families (including single parents like me) in a foreign country. How we put the safety of ourselves and our children in them. I cannot stress enough NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! Unless of course you like not knowing if your ride will show up or you can control the weather, so your flight is not delayed!Written 17 June 2024

- Abougucci0 contributionsShuttle Central Luxury SUV CANCUN MEXICOWe booked a luxury SUV to pick us up at the Cancun airport and take us to our hotel. The vehicle was a gorgeous brand new Cadillac Escalade. Our driver Miguel Rangel was very courteous and professional. On our return trip to the airport ten days later he arrived 10 minutes early which is always a great thing on a busy travel day. No worrying that you might be late for your flight! We would highly recommend this service and will definitely book again on our next trip.Written 1 May 2024

- vacayd20240 contributionsShuttle Central: Descending into Chaos - Encounter with IncompetenceThey messed us up from day one! We booked Shuttle Central for our transfers in Miami for a group travel. On arrival, one of us had to get an Uber to the hotel despite planning for months and paying for everything in advance. They then sent just 1 Sprinter van for despite asking, agreeing & paying for 2 vehicles We brushed it off and thought it was just a one time thing, the next day we had to go to the cruise terminal. Despite paying for all this service a week in advance, the driver arrived almost 2 hours late. The consultant we were in communication with, cited that the driver was stuck in traffic, but when the driver arrived, he said he had a family emergency that delayed him. Most if not all, took an Uber from the hotel to the cruise port. They apologized and said they will do better. When it came to picking us up from the Cruise port to the hotel, the same mistake happened again, they were late again. Ubers had to be taken again, out of pocket and non-refundable On last day to go to the airport, we spent hours on phone to make sure all the details and timings were correct for the person having a morning flight. When morning came, driver was nowhere to be seen, & the consultant we had been in communication with was unavailable. Their whole line went cold. At this point, we were beyond frustrated by Shuttle Central. When we tried reaching the driver who had dropped some of us to the hotel, he said he was not informed of that morning transfer. Another Uber taken. This whole experience with Shuttle Central left a horrible taste and would NOT RECOMMEND to any oneWritten 22 April 2024
- 284garrettg0 contributionsWhat is the point of an arranged van if they are not willing to make sure you have a ride when you have been delayed.Warning: if you are three hours late getting into Cancun with your family and you have been sitting on the tarmac waiting for stairs and buses and keeping Shuttle Central updated the ENTIRE time, they don't care. If you fall out of the allotted time window (I have no idea what that was btw) they are happy to leave you high and dry. I spent $225 on a cab and had to wait an extra 30 minutes. They will not offer ANY refund. I recommend using another service unless you can guarantee you will get to Cancun on time.Written 30 March 2024

Waited 15-20 min at the airport for our transportation to pick us up after we landed in Cancun and then when we were going home Gerardo left at 1:05 when our pick up time was at 1:30!! We were stranded and couldn’t get a hold of him or anyone with the company to pick us up. Took a taxi to airport spending another $40 while we already paid round trip with Shuttle central!! Can’t get a hold of anyone to get a refund either! Will never use again and would not recommend!!

CAUTION, VERY DISHONEST COMPANY! FALSE ADVERTISING
If you purchase the "Private Minivan & Ferry to Isla Mujeres" transportation package, you will only receive a ride to the Ferry terminal, the tickets for the ferry are not included. I had to pay an additional $83USD for ferry tickets on top of the $102.59 that I paid Expedia and Shuttle Central. I've been trying to get reimbursed for the ferry tickets through shuttle central and Expedia for over a month now.
I have filed a BBB complaint against Expedia and will never do business with Expedia or Shuttle Central. Avoid both companies to avoid getting scammed!
