About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- GrandTour419300701780 contributionsCenote and Chichen ItzaChichen Itza was spectacular!! Okay, too many vendors, but they've got to make a living too. The Cenote was Fabulous and beautiful! Good service, helpful with equipment. Lovely grounds.Written 4 March 2025
- davidlH5546KU0 contributionsMehChitchen Itza itself is cool, and I highly recommend visiting there, but i didn't love this tour. The cenote and the "Mayan village" were really just tourist traps designed to make this a longer tour longer. I guess yo justify the length of the 2 hour bus ride. BUt honestly i'd rather have this be a six hour trip where you just go to chitchen itza, soend 2 hours there and then go back. The other stops didn t add much and just made this into a really long day. Also, they really knickle and dimed you the whole time. There's a $20+ fee for visiting Chitzen Itza which is not included in the price, and then they charge youfor life jackets at the cenote, and then for lockers at the cenote, and then they really lay it on thick to pressure you to buy tourist crap at the "mayan viallage". Lunch is included but drinks are not, which is weird. I really did not appreaciate all the ways they were just trying to wring money out of us the whole time. I dont think i woudl recommend this tour. Definitely find time to go to Chitzen Itza, which is amazing, but maybe hire a private guide and just do that.Written 20 February 2025
- Bert S0 contributionsPlan to sit on a bus for a long time.If you are traveling from Cancun prepare yourself for 9 hours of sitting on a bus. Cochin Itzá was remarkable and I loved seeing it in real life. Our guide provided a lot of interesting information and was quite informative. The cenote was great but packed and we didn’t get nearly enough time to enjoy it. The town was ok, the buffet had delicious food and good service, but again, not enough time because the drive from Cancun including an hour backup due to the toll made this an incredibly long day of sitting peppered with short experiences. I’m glad I got to see Xichen Itza and swim in a cenote but would have picked a different tour if I’d known it was such a long time traveling.Written 20 September 2024
- Jeffrey S0 contributionsHorrible service. Bad tripThe bus was dirty. AC was "busted" and the guide barely spoke English and was rude. I would never wish this trip on my worst enemyWritten 25 June 2024
- 118chidio0 contributionsAwesome tour! Well worth the price.Amazing and engaging tour! Easy to find the pick up location. Wish there was more time built in to spend on the Valladolid part of the tour since it is so beautiful and there are many street vendors to buy different foods from. Other than that, it was great seeing one of the 7 wonders of the world and a beautiful cenote tour!Written 1 May 2024
- mathijsp20200 contributionsGreat tour with great guidesExcellent tour. Shout-out to David, Rhett and Christian for the great day. Very educational explanation about the Maya culture and history in English and Spanish, they know what they are talking about. Amazing sights (souvenir area to support Maya foundation, lunch, Chichen Itza, Cenote and finally Valladolid). The first hours are a bit promotion heavy, but the advertised souvenirs are very nice and original and support good causes. All in all a solid tour to visit the aforementioned locations!Written 27 April 2024
- Crimsondream0 contributionsSuch an awful day! Avoid this tour/the places and company! Many years ago I saw a travel article and it had Las Coloradas in it and I thought when I eventually go to Mexico I will see that. It really isn't worth the journey from Cancun and the majority of the day was awful! This tour company are horrific. We wasted hours upon hours picking people up and dropping them off even though we went past Cancun on the way to other areas. A competent company would get other minibuses and all turn join at a central location and transport people back to hotels in same way. Breakfast wasn't even breakfast food. Meat and Cheese sandwich! I don't really eat meat and even if I did I wouldn't of eaten it due to the salad which would of been washed in dirty Water! Las Coloradas, waste of time of you speak English, yes we had 2 guides one English speaking and one Spanish speaking and ours was just taking photos for people and saying nothing. The Spanish speaking one was telling people about all sorts! The Rio Lagartos bit was a waste of time and we had to wade through Animal excrement to allegedly "See" the Flamingos. We could of got alot closer but didn't. I cut my foot on something in the 💩because we were told to not even wear our flipflops. Boat driver winding up the wild birds who were expecting food and he just kept flipping pretending his phone was food! Also he wound up wild Crocodiles with sticks! Just Cruel! Our tour guide literally kicked off with me in a minibus full of people because all I wanted in the restaurant for lunch was Chips as I don't eat much meat and wouldn't eat a salad in Mexico. Tbh that restaurant was the highlight of an awful day, shame they don't have a page for me to review. The Crocodile place seemed ok at first. Man holding 2 small Crocs how didn't look distressed and then a lady comes out with a tiny bit bigger one and the poor soul had their mouth taped closed! I wouldn't of gone to this place if it wasn't part of the awful day. Then we walk to the huge ones and tourists feed them, after the poor Croc has been battered with a stick countless times as it wasn't performing for the crowd! The poor thing can't help not being hungry. Horrible exploitive, abusive uncivil place to wrap off a wasted day where you get abused for saying your meal preference! Avoid!!Written 5 March 2024
- kylees3630 contributionsCancun funJamie/ Hyman Was THE BEST guide we could have gotten. He was so patient, knowledgeable in the activities, and personable. I was thankful for him when I was struggling on the zip lines. I wish he would have been able to zip line the entire time with our group, it would have been so much for fun and helpful. This man deserves a raise!!Written 12 December 2023

- wferdous0 contributionsBeautiful trip, amazing places and friendly staffThis trip was amazing. Was able to see beautiful pink lake and Flamingoes. The pink lake was really gorgeous and it was actually pink! We had a fun boat trip where we saw crocodiles. We had lunch at a local restaurant, it was fresh and tasty. Our guide was very friendly and nice. It was a long trip so I was skeptical at the beginning but it is worth it. You get to see so many things and the drive around the local area is also very refreshing. I highly recommend it. All of my family members enjoyed it.Written 31 July 2023
- 837tyrar0 contributionsReviewOur instructor O was extremely funny and made sure we had a blast!! Please note the zip lines are very low and a short ride, and the ATV Was Not a thrill the drive was very slow and we went in the same circle, but the cenotes were a blast!Written 16 July 2023
