Taz was what I expected and so much more. Thank you all for your reviews. My friend was afraid to go off resort. I researched and kept coming up with Taz Miranda as the best. I brought my MIL out for a birthday celebration and as soon as he picked us up she was greeted with signs in the cab windows with her name playing Happy Birthday on the radio. Biggest kindest smile. He made her day special bought a birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday at the restaurant on the beach. We even had a family from France join us! We had so much fun. All Smiles and laughs! He started us out with tequila tasting and onto a tour of Mayan culture to learn the history of the island. We then went to Miami (Best Mojitos) worth the trip. A family ran business with fresh ingredients. He is a family man and very respectful. We could go on but, anyone wanting to take a tour of the island and feel like you are with family. Taz Miranda has become a friend over the past couple of years. We use him for airport transportation as well as an island tour guide for family and friends while on the island. Very knowledgeable about Cozumel history and best places to see while visiting. Definitely my first call when my trips are booked.

We toured with Taz Miranda for our 35th wedding anniversary, and had such a nice day. We visited Wet Wendy's, did a tequila tasting, and was educated with the process of making it. We visited the Mayan ruins and had a good meal. On our last stop, we had the best mojito ever. Very nice relaxing tour

Taz was an excellent guide. He picked us up on time in a brand new car with AC. He made sure we could do all the the activities we wanted and made our reservations on time. We will definitely call Taz next time we are visiting Cozumel.

Taz was great. We went to four locations. The chocolate factory was a very interesting and educational visit. We had about 20 samples of different kinds. The Mayan experience was also good. The people were very informative and fun. Done of it was participation. The Taquila tasting was not great. A strong sales pitch to buy a very expensive bottle. The last visit was to a restaurant / bar on the east side of the island. It was very nice sitting in a covered patio where there was a pleasant breeze next to the ocean. We invited Taz and enjoyed a nice conversation with him.

We elected a private tour, since we knew where we wanted to go. We were two couples, friends, all of us had been to Cozumel many times. Our driver was Carlos Chan Ku. He was very friendly, and gave us a lot of interesting information about the history of the island and many facts about the island. His English was very good, and he took us to all of the places we wished to visit, Palancar, the Rasta bar near the Punta Sur, the beach at San Martin, Mezcalitos, and Senor Iguanas. Sergio was a great tour guide. Anything we wanted to do, he made it happen. He knew a lot of local history. Felt like we saw the whole island.

Señor Taz was prompt, kind and informative. He told us a lot about the island. He got us wonderful tour guides at San Gervasio and the tequila tour. Our lunch at the beach was excellent. If you are interested in meeting locals and learning about the culture I would highly recommend this tour.

Nice , but I check my credit card after the vacaciones and I noticed that the tequila company charged more than they said..be aware I bought a tequila bottle 200 dollars and they charged me 232...

We were staying in Playa and wanted to explore Cozumel without driving, San Miguel can be crazy when the cruise ships are in.. I found this tour on Trip Advisor. Taz met us under the clock tower and brought us to his taxi. The first stop was the chocolate factory. During the tour we got a lot of free samples of different types of chocolate and learned about the process. We would have liked to buy some chocolate from them but the chocolate would have melted in the taxi. Our next stop was Otoch Maya Experience. Some of our group made tortillas. We had great tacos, sampled good tequila and took in the Maya ceremony. We finished at Punta Morena with drinks and lunch. The food is good and the beach is beautiful. Taz was a great tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and also funny.

This Tour was amazing, not rushed, and the Best part was Taz and his daughter Kor our Tour Guide. Very attentive, and shared a lot of knowledge with us. We had a blast making coz tamales, and cacao bean grinding, learned all about the local Mayan culture as well, and watched a ritual dance. Even got a TATTOO!! As Travel Agents we are always looking for GREAT off-the-beaten-track tours and experiences for our Clients and we found it with this one. I will refer this to every client going to Cozumel we booked this through Viator and Cozumel Tours by Cab didn't fail in fact they succeeded, and even went an extra step taking us around the island. We WIll be Back can't wait to book more clients there.

We had an amazing time. Taz knew all the places to go for shopping, island history, great photo spots, and lastly, great watering holes! We highly recommend!

Excellent tour guide Josue aka Josh! Josue was extremely informative and knowledgeable! The tour at San Gervasi would not have been the same without Josue….he taught us about so much history! Definitely would book another tour with Josue!!

What a amazing experience, Armando our tour guide was great very knowledgeable and funny. The dancing horses were really something to see, the talent of the rider was amazing. Highly recommend the Royal Caribbean Mayan living history tour.

Let me tell you about this tour. It is NOT wheelchair friendly. We were picked up in a wheelchair accesible taxi. He had NO idea we were even on a tour. Then he drove us all around the island explaining what things were. We didn't even get out of the taxi. I'm retuly not one to complain, but, don't waste your money. Just get a taxi from the taxi stand. You'll save a lot of money!
