One of the best diving experiences of my life! The team were so attentive and friendly. As a solo traveller I immediately felt welcomed and part of the group. The morning of the dive we got fitted for the equipment and were then on our way. The dives were amazing - we saw some really beautiful corals and even got to swim through a tunnel. As soon as we dropped down there was also a nurse shark and a turtle! You could tell the team at Aqua Adventures truely love what they do and want to make it the best experience for everyone. They also have a great diver to diver master ratio and were very attentive. I would recommend them 100% and will use again if I come back to Isla Mujeres!

Dove my first dive here 3 years ago so I knew it would be a great experience. Did 2 days of dives with Benji and Danny who were very knowledgeable. A great safe company and awesome value as well. Will definitely be back and have recommended this to others as well.

Absolutely incredible experience! These guys are awesome. Would do it every day of the trip if we could. Dani was our instructor. He was awesome. Benji, Wilbert, David, and Jessica were all rock solid.

January 2025, 2 friends and I received our scuba diver certification here. The staff was amazing and made us feel comfortable. They never hesitated to answer all the questions we had. We did several drills in a controlled environment before heading out to the dives. The instructors, boat captain, deck hand, and office staff were so awesome. Highly recommended if you want to get scuba certified or have any water adventures in mind.

My son and I did this trip and had the best time. Everyone at Aqua Adventures were so nice and accommodating. My wife booked the trip online from California while we were in Cancun and she found Jessica to be very responsive and so helpful in answering all her questions.

Aqua Adventures was a fantastic choice for our group! There were 4 - 5 of us diving together over two days and they were very accommodating and communicative about how best to book. The first day we did MUSA, a coral reef, and a night dive. The second day was a wreck (my first) and drift dive. Nine was our guide; she was excellent, extremely kind, very funny, and ensured we all were safe while having a good time. It was my first time visiting Isla Murejes and the diving is a big reason I will be coming back again and again and utilizing Aqua Adventures. Big thanks to the team!

I signed up for the combination of PADI e-learning/in-person confined and open water dives with Aqua Adventures. It was my first time ever scuba diving and I got my certification! The staff was helpful and responsive. They are both professional and laid back, making sure everyone is safe and having fun. Dani was an excellent instructor; he made sure I had a great experience. We also saw a lot - turtles, rays, eels, and shark.

Aqua Adventures took care of me and my friends for an incredible 5 dives over two days leading up to New Years—2 tank MUSA/reef, a night dive, and 2-tank adventure wreck/drift! Nina, Benjamin, David, Daniel and Capt Wilbert were all so accommodating and friendly. They went the extra mile especially to allow me to gain experience on my Sidemount kit for all five dives—no muss no fuss! Would highly recommend this shop and team, for back mount or sidemount divers.

My second time diving with Aqua Adventures. Dave is great Dive Master. The whole team is helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend Aqua Adventures especially if you prefer small group dives instead of cattle boat tours.

First off, Nina and the crew made our introduction to diving amazing and we felt safe. The two dive spots we dove on were amazing, the reef is so full of life that there is no way to take it all in just one day. We enjoyed ourselves so much we are going to have them train us for our open water PADI program. Worth every penny, definately recommend this event for the first timer or Padi certified diver. The vibes are right at this dive shop. We had fantastic time with Danny, Xena, Benji, Wilbert and everyone else who made our dive amazing. It’d been 10 years since my partner and I went diving and the last time left him with a pretty serious ear infection that made him unsure whether he would ever dive again. We did the refresher and then a two tank dive and I can’t recommend it highly enough. We felt super safe and cared for the whole time. My partner, especially, wanted to take it very slow because of his prior ear infection and everyone was so supportive — he ended up being able to do both dives because of the patience and assistance of the crew! Aqua was first on our list of Dive Shops, walked in and immediately knew we'd made the right choice. After some intros and discussions, we booked the MUSA and Manchones Reef for day1PM and the Sleeping Sharks Cave and Pailas day 2AM. ....these were all very good dives, neat caves and caverns, fish, turtles, rays. After finishing day2, we booked the following morning for the Punta Sur SWIFT Drift and Media Luna Reef....the drift dive is super cool and for sure a dive to be on your list and embraced, since the ocean current is doing all the work. With 4 divers per group, our Dive Masters over the 6 dives were Daniel (2x) and Nina, very attentive and professional, stressing safety and fun as prerequisites for the dives. Nicely laid out dive plans before we left the shop, including potential sightings and challenges. Captain Wilbert and his crew did a great job. The equipment we had was top-notch and well maintained. Being from land-locked Alberta and Canadians who vacation "south" in the winter annually 2 or 3x, it had been many months since our last dives (Feb2024). With perhaps anxiety around "remembering what to do", the staff really helped prepare us , provided great coaching and ultimately made the diving into a great experience. Even our wives, who don't dive, were so impressed with the team when we stopped in the day before we flew home...we felt compelled to stop in and say thanks. If you're thinking to Dive around Isla Mujeres, this dive shop is a great choice.

Amazing experience with excellent instructions from Aqua Adventures. Went with my SO and she never dived before. She was instructed well and really enjoyed it! Would recommend diving with this company!
