Overview
Experience the history and natural beauty of the Yucatan peninsula on this private day tour of Tulum's Maya ruins and the underground caverns of Kantun-Chi. What to Expect
A private, chauffeured van picks you up at your Cancun hotel to embark on this day trip. First, head south to Tulum. Disembark to see ancient Maya ruins and learn about their historical significance in Maya culture. The remote location atop a bluff overlooking the Caribbean Sea adds appeal; bring a swimsuit and towel if you’d like to take a dip in the ocean.
Your next stop is Kantun-Chi. The ecological park boasts an underground network of stalactites and stalagmites with two cenotes (sinkholes filled with crystal-clear water), connected by two natural alleyways.
The tour includes a lunch of traditional foods from the Yucatan peninsula. After a full day of learning about Maya culture, the van drops you off back at your Cancun hotel.
