5 out of 5!! The tour our guide came up with was spectacular and he made great suggestions. The day was tailored to us and we appreciated the time, attention, and care he put into it. The car was super clean and he had a cooler of beverages for us. I will absolutely use him again when I come back this area. He also offers shuttles to and from the airport and I’d recommend him for that too. Polite and knowledge about the area, highly recommended.

My family and I (4 adults, two kids, 8 & 13) wanted to check out very specific things while on our vacation in Cancun on our own time. I didn't want to do it on a giant bus full of people. I wanted to spend as much or as little time as we wanted at the places we wanted. I wanted to chose the pick up time and the drop off time. Well our driver and company owner, Jesus, did just that. He was very kind and very knowledgeable about the area. He wouldn't just drop us off in parking lots. He would walk us inside to the door of the places we wanted to see. He got us tons of great advice that made our vacation much better. Also, he surprised us with lots of yummy snacks and drinks! This was a huge deal to us because we asked to get picked up before breakfast was served at our hotel. He shared with us a lot of the cultural things that we saw on our drive. His van was very clean, big and comfortable. I absolutely recommend his company/service to anyone who wants to get a VIP experience. We explored Chicken Itza, Hacienda Oxam (cenotes/pool) and a magical pueblo called Valladolid all in one day. We asked him to drive us on a second day to Xcaret, because we also wanted to do that on our schedule and not on a bus with tons of people. I can't say enough great things. I got quotes from other, bigger companies and Jesus' quote was a great price to me compared to others. Only thing I will add is that there is a 5% fee to pay with you card so I suggest having cash ready to pay with instead.

We spent a week in Riviera Maya in June and did two excursions, both with CanaMex. This was our first one and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Jesus was excellent at communicating with me ahead of time and answered any and all questions quickly. We started out visiting two snorkeling spots...one at a shipwreck! Were other boats there? Sure. But there was plenty of room to enjoy snorkeling. Jesus's guys did a great job fitting my kids' masks and making sure we were together in the water. We snorkeled for a while so I was really thankful that Jesus brought along a cooler with water, cut fruit, and sandwiches! After these two spots, we headed to the north end of Isla Mujeres and enjoyed some leisurely swimming and more snorkeling. We then moved to a dock closer to downtown and Jesus helped us secure a golf cart so we could explore the island on our own. We took about an hour and a half to just loop the island and see the incredible views. When we met back up with Jesus, he took us to the beach club for the included lunch buffet. The food here was fine, but honestly I would've been happy with more of the fresh fruit and sandwiches Jesus's wife had prepared! We had a great day with Jesus and this made us feel confident in our decision to book two excursions with him. Both days we spent with CanaMex were just so easy and we enjoyed seeing new sights!

This was the second tour we had scheduled with CanaMex during our week in the Riviera Maya. We again had the pleasure of having Jesus as our guide. He brought great snacks and homemade sandwiches along with drinks for the kids and local craft beer for my husband and me! We started out at Tulum and he went ahead for our tickets to the ruins and the shuttle bus. While he doesn't do the tour itself (it's easily self-guided or you can pay a nominal fee for a guide on-site), he made sure we were loaded on the bus and not snagged by any of the scam guides. While my husband and I enjoyed Tulum, it was hot so the kids (10, 10, 6) just wanted to be in the water. Jesus was really easy to communicate with so he was ready for us when we were back to the van early. Our next stop was Kaan Laguna which was great to cool off. He then took us on to Cenote Corazon which was the highlight for me. The water was so clear and cool. Jesus brought his drone along to get some overhead shots which was really cool. We ended the day in Playa del Carmen where Jesus took us to El Fagon when we asked to eat somewhere the locals eat. Best meal of our trip! We had such a great day thanks to Jesus and will not hesitate to contact him for our future trips!

We were so disappointed in this excursion. We were picked up at our hotel at 10am and returned at 7pm. The excursion left Cancun at noon and returned to the dock by 5:30pm. We were really looking forward to snorkeling on the reef. When we got to the snorkeling site there had to have been 10-15 other catamarans also anchored there (read: CROWDED!) in a circle. We were allowed 20 minutes of snorkeling time and had to stay in a very tight group. No exploring allowed. Very few fish. No turtles. Then we had lunch of a chicken pasta salad, chips and guacamole and ceviche that was actually quite good as we traveled to the north shore of Isla Mujeres. Again, we were allowed 20 minutes to swim off the boat once we got there. Paddle boards were tied to the boat - not for actually paddle boarding. Then we were brought to shore for our "free time" at Isla Mujeres Downtown. We were given 3 HOURS of shopping time and beach time. You had to rent chairs and umbrellas and people were constantly walking the beach trying to sell you stuff. All we wanted was some time on the water snorkeling and enjoying the beautiful reef. NOPE! Not on this excursion.

Really good experience but filled up with scams. First advise, get there early (before 9 am) otherwise there are too much tourists. Second one, walk your way to the beach without listening anybody. They will try to block you and ask you to pay and other stuff. The only things you need to pay are the access to the beach (little station next to the diving store), they will give you a bracelet in exchange that you will need to show (I paid 80 pesos). And then you will need a guide (don’t bother you taking a whole tour, it’s more than 100$). The guide is only 20$ and give you the équipements required to snorkel (life jacket, mask…). Don’t pay them at the diving store, they are freaking expensive. Concerning the swimming, there are 2 zones, the first one is free and the second one required either a guide or a tour. Obviously, turtles are in the second zone… You can’t go swim with the turtles by yourself (strictly forbidden). Guides are very friendly and will swim with you during more than 20 minutes (30 minutes for us as we were the only tourists). Plus, if you don’t see any turtles, they give your money back, a good point. Concerning my experience, I saw 3 turtles and one ray, which was a memory that I will never forget.

Omar’s the best driver, knows the best places to go and is always available. We did the ruins and cenote tour in Tulum and had the best day. Made a new friend in Omar too!

One of the must see's when in Tulum. The water is perfect temperature and extremely blue. The pictures do not do it justice. Perfect for couples, families and kids. I highly recommend coming here to relax and enjoy the experience and beautiful scenery.

My son arranged this day trip for us because I REALLY wanted to see some Mayan ruins and cenotes. It was glorious. We traveled as a group of 10, 4 of my married children + spouses, and my husband and I. Jesus was a terrific guide and willing to adjust and cater the day to whatever we wanted to do. He is very knowledgeable about the area and had suggestions for what we might want to see. We visited the ruins, two different cenotes (we swam at each one, Jesus provided snorkels), had time to shop in town for a bit, and enjoyed a delicious lunch...a place with a camel painted on the wall and wonderful fish tacos. If we felt "snacky" Jesus had a cooler full of drinks and snacks, including fruit and yogurt. The van was comfortable and there was plenty of room for all 10 of us. Jesus was a fabulous host and I would highly recommend him and his expertise!

I booked this excursion for 10 adults, me, 3 adult siblings, our spouses and my parents. We went on Mar 7, 2021. Jesus contacted me a couple of days before to get our drink preferences, and to let me know he will would need our room number in order to pick us up. We changed the pickup time to a later time, 9:30 which we preferred and he recommended, as when I booked online I couldn’t change it from 7. Jesus was very friendly and really went out of his way to make sure we did what we wanted on our timetable. Jesus provided drinks, snacks, fresh fruit. We loved the Tulum ruins, the lagoon, and especially enjoyed the Cenote Azul. We went to a great local, cheap, delicious restaurant in Tulum that Jesus recommended and it was perfect for some authentic Mexican food with a local vibe, the shrimp ceviche was amazing. We returned around 5:30 pm, as that is when we were done, and we thoroughly enjoyed the day.
