We did this on december and the tour was still with a small group, there was a looong and bumpty road but we expected that since Sian Kaan is in the middle of the jungle My friends managed to sleep all the way there haha The water was beautiful, it was amazing seen so much green and blue covering the landscape Our guide took us to the best spots where we could see and swim near turtles Trip worth it

          Disappointed again
Second trip that got canceled after waiting an hour outside of the security gate. Just save yourself the headache and book your excursions through your hotel. All of the apps that book tours are extremely faulted and waste time and leave you disapointed

          Stay away from this tour!!
We were told this would be a "luxury" party catamaran for 25 with a snorkeling adventure. It was not. The catamaran was not "luxury". It was not designed to have people walking around and the space to sit was very limited. The walkways were a tripping hazard. The drinks were made and brought to you... margarita and tequila sunrise.. and they tasted like they were made with Tang. There was no bar you could go to so you could order your own drink. We sat on the floor wherever we could. Getting up and down was difficult. Then we found out the snorkeling was only for those under 59!! Many people on the boat had paid to snorkel and couldn't, including my inlaws. We were yelled at by the tour guide all through the experience... if one person wasn't listening to the spiel, he harangued that person and then started over. The snorkelling was so guided and congested we kept running into each other but were yelled at if we didn't stay as a cluster. Made the mistake of believing the golf cart tour of the island, where we would learn the history and 'visit' the beaches, would be great and paid for it, but it was a disaster. The golf cart was broken and by the time we caught up with the rest of the tour we heard no history and were just deposited at one market after another. We were taken to a place with statues but told we didn't have time to go see them, and no one really explained what they were all about. We kept having to line up and wait. Most of the time was spent waiting. The beach buffet was picked over when we got there, with many empty serving trays and dried out sandwiches. I had a 'luxury' hot dog and then had to scarf it down to go stand in another line and wait 30 min for the broken golf cart. And getting off and back on the boat was a nightmare... I'm amazed more people didn't fall. The scenery was the only thing that made this horrible experience bearable. Atlantis 4 was not worth the money.

          Lit day
We met a few people and made friends from Australia and Canada, many funny accidents while drinking on the beach lmao The food was good and the beach club had a nice vibe. Saw an older couple mixing pretty well with everyone else haha An overall great experience but I wished we had more time!

          Something different!
Wow! The crocodiles and flamingos are a must-see. A fun-filled day that was super exciting. And the pink lagoon was unbelievable. We also stopped at a lovely restaurant in the town of Rio Lagartos, and had a nice, authentic lunch.

          Authentic mayan jungle
We had a great time at the mayan jungle, it felt a little rural but overall authentic My friends were late and the staff waited for them to come out! The staff at the park were also kind and patience with us Would recommend as a half day tour

          Too much hassle!!!
The excursion itself was good. Trip advisor emailed me twice saying pick up at lobby when it was actually outside of the resort! Missed the excursion at 10:00am ruined our day. Went at 1:00pm and again diver said he called my name. He was less than half a block away. He could see us standing there. He was sitting in the van. Finally got in the van. Very bad experience! He did not get out of the van and did not call me.

          Good value raining season
We are glad that we did it over rain season! Our group was small and more personal since most people wanted to avoid rain (did not rain during the day) The food was fine and there were places where they tried to sell us things but nothing we didn't expect The cenote and the ruins were the highlight

          It was ok...
Our guide was great. The first place we stopped to see the Cenote Azul was great. Nice breakfast and scenery. The second stop at the Bacalar Lagoon was good too where we got to swim and chill. We decided not to go kayaking as the weather was rainy and we went on the boat tour instead, which meant paying an extra 630MXN. After this, we went to the pretty awful buffet lunch. the food was cold and tasteless and the severs had their fingers in the food as they were holding the plates at an odd angle which meant their fingers slid into the food. Also, the DJ was playing super loud tunes which was more nightclub than chilling by a lagoon. This tour involves at least 6 hours of being on a coach, which is a lot and worth considering if you want to have that as part of a tour.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________ On July 9 of this year, I went with my family to this park, which was the worst experience I have had in a park in Mexico. A guide named Freddy, the entire trip, did not stop saying vulgarities, humiliating clients, making jokes inciting child pornography. I can't believe that the park has this type of people working, it is incredible that this happens with minors and a family atmosphere, it is not a cheap cantina, it is a park which is family-friendly and there are children. I refrained from attacking Freddy's ape so as not to cause panic with my wife's parents, but something needs to be done about this type of park. If you are a person who likes to be humiliated, this park is for you, if you are a person who allows your underage children to listen to child pornography jokes, this park is for you, otherwise don't waste your money here and your time, it's not worth it. This is not going to stay that way, since promoting child pornography with jokes is a crime. Take care of your family and avoid having bad times in these types of parks.

It’s pure magic. I fell in love with Bacalar
Don’t hesitate, it’s incredible. Stay for at least two nights and make sure to book a boat tour and eat at Nixtamal. Hotel MBH just north of town is a great option

Not worth the price… take the ferry!
We decided to take the catamaran to isla mujeres because it left very close to our resort. Once we were on the boat they said you couldn’t wear/ use sunscreen. They also didn’t offer bottled water. While on the boat they advised everyone against snorkelling. They said it was an 8KM snorkelling excursion. We were not told this upon booking. We thought it was a leisurely beginner snorkelling excursion. Since most people voted against going we didn’t go. We instead just swam at the beach by the island. Which you could do without taking this trip/ paying the price. It took about 30 minutes to dock the boat. My partner and I both go a sunburn during this time. As there was little to no shade on the boat. After docking we had 90 minutes at a buffet on the island. The food was pretty bad and most drinks were an up sell. There wasn’t much to do on the island, unless you wanted to rent a golf cart. Be careful as people on the island pretend to know you from your resort to try to sell you things. Would have been nice for the tour guide to warn us about this like this. Overall I’d say this isn’t a full day excursion. It’s much better just to take the ferry. The ferry is faster. They have clean washrooms, more comfortable seating, shade and it’s more economical. Also the ferry is less crowded.
