          Amazing time, but no ruins
This experience was great. The tour guide was so friendly and helpful. The boat ride was gorgeous and then when we got in the water it was so peaceful and beautiful. We loved it. The only thing is that we did not see any ruins so that was a little disappointing as the trip listed it and had images but overall that did not take away from a great experience.

          Coba ruins near Tulum
We Visited Coba ruins with our children and were very lucky to have an amazing guide Jorge Moo. We did not plan this just turned up in our hire car and booked him once inside the turn stile. Jorge is amazing he captivated our children immediately and gave our visit such depth and an insight into the true Mayan culture/features we took the information onward to other ruins. Coba is a very natural site over a big area go early while quiet and cool we walked from the smaller ruin where Jorge gave us our history lesson to Coba which is amazing. I got a double cycle back to the entrance with my eldest son and we were lucky enough to see spider monkeys and a snake. I thoroughly recommend Coba and seeking out Jorge. You may even see crocs and a Jaguar!

THEY ARE NOT A MEMBER OF PADI!!! Do not dive with these liars / crooks
THEY ARE NOT A MEMBER OF PADI!!! Do not dive or book anything with these liars / crooks. Diving was cancelled and a refund was promised - but never received! Despite 50/60 emails. I have given up trying the civilised way. I have contacted PADI and they are investigating. Let's hope justice is served.

          Amazing dive company
If you go with these guys you are in great hands. Diving in the Ce Notes is a fun activity and pretty easy. A bit outside of mail Tulum. They take you when you get to the dive shop Sorry this review has been sitting in my drafts. Not sure how that happened

          Yes to this Beautiful Tour!!
What a beautiful and unique experience! Our guide, Alvaro, was knowledgeable and kind. He shared a lot of information with us and didn’t rush the tour in any way. Not to mention he had cold water and beer to share with us! I definitely recommend this tour if you’re in Tulum. So glad we made time to see this beautiful place - the Muyli ruins and the Sian Ka’an Reserve are memorable. It was so relaxing and refreshing to float down the lagoon after being in the hot weather. It was wonderful for my teenagers and I heard lots of laughter as they floated together…my husband enjoyed himself too! We are a family of four and this was a great experience for all of us!

          Wonderful tour with fantastic guide
This tour was the highlight of our trip. Our tour guide and driver was exceptional and ensured we had a wonderful experience. They tailored the tour to our needs, including getting us to the Cancun airport to catch our departing flight.

Great experiences in Tulum with guide, Alvaro
My daughter and I were lucky enough to have tour guide Alvaro in Tulum. He took us on private tour to Cenote Sac Actun and to swim with sea turtles near the Tulum ruins. We had such a fantastic experience. We appreciated his knowledge and upbeat, friendly personality. My daughter expressed interest in finding excellent tacos and Alvaro ended up giving us a “taco tour” where we sampled delicious tacos! What a great and memorable day!

          Wonderful experience! 10/10
We had an amazing time with our guide, Alvaro Cruz Chigo. Really spectacular cenotes, beautiful landscapes and an enchanting experience being inside the caverns. He guided us through the entire journey, with so much patience and gave us great information and history about the cenotes. He swam with us through the caverns, guiding us through (even though I was terrified at first haha) but his presence makes one feel calm. It was truly a fantastic experience and we'd recommend Alvaro to anyone!!! Bonus he had a gopro that he let us use and used to take pictures of us 🥹

          One of our best vacations!
We are beginning divers and safety experts was a paramount concern. Manuel was our guide. He has over 30 years of diving experience. Additionally, he was born in the Yucatán Peninsula and has been diving these waters for decades. We were able to do two dives per day in a variety of locations—from cenote to diving with bull sharks. As the weather conditions changed, Manuel was very flexible thus allowing us to make the most use of our time here. We will be returning soon and look forward to diving with Manuel again. Highly recommended Tulúm Diving and Travel!

          Best tour guide ever!
Manuel was a great tour guide. He was very informative on the Mayan history and culture. We had a private tour so he customized what we did. Muyil ruins, Coba ruins then floated on the canals. He took us to eat tacos from a food truck in Tulum. The fish tacos were so delicious. We had two other meals that were also delicious. I would highly recommend Manuel.

          20/10 HIGHLY recommend!
Stop everything you're doing and BOOK A TOUR with Tulum Diving & Travel! This was one of the best experiences of my life. Manny and his team were not only wonderful guides and extremely knowledgable about the activities and history of Mexico, he became like family. I became a certified scuba diver with Manny's training and feel extremely comfortable with the skills I learned. We visited the Mayan Sun, floating on a lagoon and learning about history at the ruins. We ate some of the best tacos of my life and I experienced Tulum like never before.

          Memorable experience
On our recent trip to Tulum, we used this company to visit two connected cenotes Sac Actum and Pet Cemetary. We first contacted the company via WhatsApp, where we asked all our questions and made all the arrangements. Manuel Via WhatsApp was quite helpful and responsive. On the day of our trip our guide Alvaro was at our hotel door at 8am sharp. He spoke particularly good English and was very friendly. He then drove us to the cenote, which required driving over some rough roads, so I was grateful to be picked up. When we arrived, our guide chose our lifejackets (mandatory) and offered us wetsuits because he said the water could be cold for some. At the entrance of the cenote, he took our shoes, articles of clothing and towels and left them where we would exit after the tour. The tour itself was fantastic, the cenotes were breathtaking, and Alvaro was an excellent guide. He explained both things about the cenote (e.g., history associated with the cenotes) and ensured our safety. He even carried my wetsuit throughout the journey just in case I got chilly and decided to put it on. For reference the water was about 75 degrees Fahrenheit. He also took nice photos for us (free of charge – unlike some tours who try to upsell). What was especially nice was that we were the only people in the cenote during the whole tour (not sure if this was by chance or if the company planned it or arranged it)! At the end of the tour our things were waiting for us, and he allowed us to swim a little while longer in a particularly nice open-air section of the cenote. Then he took us back safely to our hotel. In summary, we had a very memorable experience all thanks to this company which was professional, friendly, and super accommodating. A Big thanks to both Alvaro and Manuel. Side Note- For those who shun bathing suits or just do not want to bring a wet one home in their suitcase, this company also offers “clothing optional” tours, just inquire in advance so that they can make the necessary arrangements. They do not mention it on their website... perhaps they should.

Greate adventure in the world of Maya!
It's a well tailored and overall wholsome experience. I can't recomend it more! It's so easy to feel like an explorer or movie protagonist when you stroll trough Coba ruins, zipline over vast lagoon, crouse trough jungle, explore cold undeground cenote. You eaven meet Mayans and their shaman so you check all that classic adventure points. Our guide Alvaro had wits, knowlage he take such good care of us and tought about taking pictures of us on zip line! He made whole awsome exrusion even better. He was so good that same day we booked an snorekling trip to reef (that i recomed too) with same company. We highly recomend this trip.

We had a wonderful trip! Alvaro our driver was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating!
Guillermo our guide at Chichen Itza was wonderful as well! Guillermo was able to teach us so much and was always thoughtful about stopping for chats in the shade!
The total trip was long, about 12 hours, but well worth it. We had a Poc chuc lunch at a small family run business, which was delicious. We also visited 2 cenotes and were able to do some shopping in Valladolid.
This trip was private, just the two of us, in an air conditioned car, lunch and tickets to all the venues were included. Alvaro was always easy to find, ready, and waiting for us. He made sure we found what we needed and saw what we wanted to see.
I would highly recommend this company and we will definitely use them again when we are in Cancun! I want to do the Coba trip next!!

My husband and I booked the Chichen Itza trip in late-February 2020, and had an amazing time! Would highly recommend!!
We were pleasantly surprised that it was a completely private tour with a driver (of an upgraded SUV) and an English speaking tour guide. The guide told us amazing stories about the local towns and fun facts about the cenotes, Mexican society, and the landmarks that we visited. We had a Chichen Itza specific tour guide for a two hour walking tour of the historical preservation site. Next up we had an amazing lunch at an authentic road side restaurant - where we watched the locals prepare the tortillas and grilled pork for our tacos! We then went to a stunning cenote and snapped a ton of pictures. Then finally we passed through the quaint town of Valladolid and picked up a few souvenirs at local shops.

I totally recommend this very special day trip to round out any Tulum vacation!

Overall, cannot recommend Tulum Diving & Travel enough - get Al as your driver and you're in for a great day on this tour.

We (my friend and I) did the Chicken Itza + Cenote + Valladolid tour with lunch in April 2022 just before Easter. We had Al (Alvaro) as our driver who picked us up from our Tulum hotel and he showed us the sights. What an amazing day! The sites aside, Al was friendly and knowledgeable. Importantly we felt he was a very safe and considerate driver. We were grateful that he flexed the tour to accommodate a particular cenote we wanted to visit, and that he was very considerate of and sensitive to our issues with a stomach bug we'd picked up before doing the tour. Lunch was excellent and was the first proper meal we'd had in 2 days - he'd found a really authentic little place which was the best meal we had during our 8 day trip. It was a pleasure being taken to these amazing sites by Al. Oh and also he took some great photos for us too!

My favorite day of my Yucatan trip was spent with guide Manuel Caballito Rodríguez visiting Chichen Itza, eating the best Pook Chuuk, touring Valladolid and swimming inside a cave Cenote. Manuel is an incredible and knowledgeable guide. He is well traveled and shared his experienced perspective on the Yucatan and Mexico. I learned so much that day. Having a one on one guide was a great choice, particularly compared to the large tour groups being hustled through. I highly recommend experiencing Mexico with Manuel!

Manuel (the owner) was our guide to Chichen-itza and Coba ruins and one cenote, and he provided an efficient and informative day (we did all three in one day). He and his driver arrived on time and were highly professional. The driver figured out how to get around what looked to be an impossible blockage for a spontaneous parade. They NO NOT guide you within the sites; that is done by a licensed guide that they arrange. Manuel was also helpful in providing many tips about visiting Tulum and even went out of his way to give us a lift from our resort to downtown Tulum so we didn't have to get a taxi. He certainly knows the Yucatan, and while we didn't go with him for diving, he has many years of experience with cave diving in Cozumel and Tulum.

Our trip to Chichen Itza, Cenote Oxman, and Valladolid was incredible. Alvaro was our driver/guide for the day and we felt so lucky to be with him. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and just genuinely a wonderful person to spend the day with. We also were with Al on another day trip in which we went swimming in 4 different Cenotes and then had a delicious lunch together. 10/10 experience both days. When we come back to the Yucatán peninsula we will contact Tulum Diving and Travel again, and we hope to see Al again too.

We did the private chichen itza exclusive tour today. Our driver was Alvaro (Al).

He picked us up on time from our resort and we drove the 21/2 hours to chichen itza. There we were met with another guide who was extremely knowledgeable about the ruins and took us around each site. It was very factual and he allowed us to set the pace and take pictures

Then we proceeded to an original Mayan lunch (pork). Super tasty and a great place to rest. (Authentic pork tacos)

Next up was a cenote site. It was not horrible busy and beautiful. The water was refreshing.

Last al took us into town for some shopping. We bought a few things to take back home and had some ice cream

A long day (about 11 hours). Al was super happy and professional the entire time. He ensured we had enough time to get what we wanted accomplished

Highly recommend and would do again!

This tour was great and I highly recommend. It’s hot in the summertime and the car is nicely air conditioned. Our driver/guide Eduardo was really knowledgeable and gave us good tips to use for the rest of our stay. He purchased our tour tickets for Chichén Itzá and the cenote, also took us to a good cheap place to grab a quick breakfast before heading out! Great tour, 1 guide for the 2 of us super intimate and we really felt connected to the Mayan history. We could see other groups had bought a different tour company and were stuck in large groups 10+ with 1 guide standing in the sun. Our guide at Chichén Itzá, Guillermo, was awesome. So knowledgeable, super kind and liked to stop in the shade to explain things (very important).
Staff was awesome, would do another trip with this company for sure!!
