Nobody explained why we were waiting so long. The tour was supposed to be 5 hours and it took almost 8. We missed our other planned activities. They told us the park was overcrowded so we had to wait longer to rotate through all activities. The ride to and from the park was EXTREMELY bumpy and uncomfortable. My wife was assured that this was a family boat by the sales associate walking through the resort selling packages. This was far from a family friendly catamaran cruise. The boat is dated, the washroom toilets barely worked. Even though the boat wasn't sold out, it still felt as if everyone was crammed into a small boat. I can't imagine what it would be like if it is full. For the most part the crew was friendly and safety oriented. The problems arose with the other passengers who over indulged in the free alcohol at the encouragement of the crew. Not the atmosphere I was looking for with young children. Buyer beware. Definately will be looking for other options on our next trip to Mexico.Written 14 March 2020

Felt rushed and unorganized. Pickup was late by an hour. Guides at experiences were great but it is only so much you can makeup with poor execution

Tulum was self guided which we liked. It was beautiful. We then swam in the cenote, then finally on the quads. THE QUADS WERE SO FUN. I’m a beginner and my husband is advanced, and we both had a great time. They pulled the really slow & very new riders off on their own adventure. After - we went to a lagoon. The other review complained about this, but it was super fun and after getting muddy on the quads it was refreshing to rinse off. Luis was awesome and his whole team made the experience very fun. 10/10 recommend, bring bug spray!

(About the bugs.. because of the rain, all the Yucatan area has had a lot of mosquitos this year, We've been fumigating every day but its been hard, biodegradable bug spray is definitely needed) The best time to actually be on the quads is while its raining, it's a lot of fun riding through huge puddles!)

Plenty of gotchas on this trip that added up to a not great experience. I had an almost 4yo with me.
1. No plastic water bottles allowed in the ruins. There’s little shade, so on a hot day as it was when we visited, it’s hard not to be quite thirsty - had we known about the plastic bottle rule we would have brought a different container.
2. The itinerary was opaque. We didn’t know when we were doing the next activity until someone told us. My 4yo was patient despite this.
3. The zip lining seems pretty intense for kids. We opted out - it’s quite high.
4. No lunch until 330 or 4pm. There are opportunities to buy junk food - and tons of solicitation for other stuff you probably don’t need or want - but there’s no food at the ATV camp until the activities are over. Bring snacks, and maybe buy a meal at the tourist section of the ruins.
5. The “good” part of the cenote requires a long swim. Most of the group went on without us to that part of the cave. Had we known this and the zip line we wouldn’t have booked.
The service was generally pleasant and my son loved the ATVs but overall it was kind of a letdown.

We had a great time on this excursion and felt very well taken care of. Lunch was delicious and the transportation was great. Customer service was first-rate. It is, however, a much longer excursion than we were expecting and it includes difficult terrain. If someone in your group has mobility issues, this might be challenging. The guides did a great job of making sure we had what we needed though. It was a fun adventure and good for a variety of ages. The excursion takes about 8 hours, so it's a full day and a great value for the money spent!

The tulum ruins were great. There were two cenotes on the tour. Why I am not sure.The second one was spectacular. The four wheel adventure was a big disappointment. It was traveled at the maximum speed that the amature drivers could maintain and the passangeers had to hold on for dear life. We were not able to enjoy the forest much less see any animals or birds. The zip lines were average at best.
The bus that picked us up was 45 minutes late and the whole thing took 11 hours.
I would not recomment this Experience to anyone.

-We visit two cenotes during the journey, it´s specified in the description of the tour.
- For safety, we have to maintain the group together, that´s why is important to wait for the others in the group.
- The pickup time accorded was assigned one day in advance, we send a message through the Trip Advisor system to confirm the exact time, so, this probably was a misunderstanding. We apologize for any inconvenience this could cause.
