        Do this tour
This was such a great day trip. Aaron was a great tour guide. He picked us up from San Miguel De Allende at 8am in a roomy big/clean van. We grabbed coffee and we were off to GTO. It took it 1.5 hour to get there. The trip was nice. There is a lot of scenery as you pass through the small towns and the landscape is beautiful. Aaron had a driver which was very efficient for drop offs and pickups. We were a family of 4 with two kids (7 and 9 years). We started at the mummy museum and the kids thought that was pretty cool. It’s strange how they just have them out there for display but still pretty cool. After we hit the town. Such a beautiful and picturesque town. We couldn't stop taking picture of all the buildings and mountains. The town is super colorful. We did the following: Diego rivera museum, underground streets, Callejon del beso, Juarez theatre, the GTO university, many churches, and had lunch at a good spot where the mole was BOMB! The town is like a big maze. You would definitely get lost if you tried to do it on your own. The streets are confusing, small, and there are a lot of dead ends. Driving as well! Those underground streets are confusing and I heard GPS does not work down there. We also visited the mercado and the Alhondiga de Grandaditas building where they hung the heads of Allende, Hildago, Jimenez, and the other guy (forgot his name). The building is pretty cool since you can still see the bullet strikes on the building. So much history everywhere you go. Lastly, we went up the lift to see El Pipila. It was at the top of the mountain and he can be seen throughout the city. We had a perfect day until we got up the mountain and it started raining on us. We got our pictures and got out of there. I would have like staying up there a few more mins to enjoy the views. The views are amazing. Aaron is amazing and knows the city very well. The tour was very informative and my kids loved it. It was their first taste of Mexican history and they loved it. They asked Aaron a lot of questions and he answered them all. We were never pressed for time and Aaron let us take our time with pictures and shopping. We got back to SMA around 4 ish. It was great day and I highly recommend this tour with Aaron. You won't be disappointed.

Interesting and informative tour of Guanajuato!!
Aaron is the perfect guide to take you on an informative tour of this beautiful, historic city. His English is impeccable and after 12 years of giving tours here, he knows so much about how the city was built and the different eras of people living there. He knew a great place to eat right across from Diego Rivera’s house and museum. The tour was just the right amount of time, and we would highly recommend taking this tour from Aaron!

A+ tour guide / custom tour FTW!
If you are thinking about getting a local guide to show you around anywhere in the region — Queretaro, Guanajuato, San Miguel, etc do not hesitate to book Aáron. Your day will be packed with interesting history, plus he can answer any question you throw at him. While it’s undeniably true that these cities are excellent with or without a tour guide, the historic background that Aáron shared has — without a doubt — enriched the days my friend and I spent exploring on our own. Do yourself a favor — book Aáron! If you have any travel companions, they’ll thank you for it later.

Great Guide in Central Mexico (Querétaro, Guanajuato, San Miguel de Allende, Bajío)
Aarón took three of us from Querétaro to Guanajuato for a full-day tour of this unique and beautiful city. We hit the major sites, learned about the history and culture, and enjoyed a tasty lunch. With its tunnels and steep landscape, Guanajuato would have been difficult to navigate without such a knowledgable guide. Aarón (tours in central mexico .com) is personable and knows his stuff. And as anglophones, we appreciated that his English is better than a gringo’s. We’d happily take another tour with Aarón.

        Don't Miss This Wonderful Adventure
We were visiting San Miguel de Allende and did not want to miss a visit to the Capitol and World Heritage City. Aaron our guide was so informative and we really covered the City, the beautifully restored Opera House, the City Market and other sites. We had an amazing view above the City via the funicular. We had a fabulous lunch and ended the day with a trip to a restored Hacienda with period furniture and decor. Aaron's English was exceptional as was his information and courtesy.

Wonderful Tour of Old Town San Miguel
We did a three hour day tour of San Miguel de Allende with Aaron. He was very fluent in English and very knowledgeable about the history, culture, architecture and everything we asked about. He joined us for lunch afterwards and showed us a great fish taco place and a grocery store close to our Airbnb. Would highly recommend any tour of the area with Aaron.

        Wonderful Tour Guide
Did two tours with Aaron in Queretaro, the city walking tour and the wine and cheese tours. His english is excellent and his knowledge of the region and its history wonderful. He regaled us with stories of the history of the region, but was also a wealth of knowledge of the businesses and economic engines of the region. He drove us for the wine tour in his newish Nissan. He is a careful solid driver and we felt comfortable the whole day. We especially enjoyed the town of Bernal and the Freixenet winery. We felt very well cared for the entire time with Aaron. Would strongly recommend him and his tours and plan to come back one day to further explore the region.

        Wonderful tour of Guanajuato
Aarón Trejo provided us with a pleasurable and interesting tour of Guanajuato city from San Miguel de Allende. He arrived promptly at the front door of our Airbnb with a clean, well-maintained vehicle. He drove safely. He answered about a million questions we had and provided a thorough tour from the tunnels to the overlook, to the University, theatre, and museum. Wonderful and enjoyable day touring with Aaron- Highly Recommend.

        Excellent guide
I contacted Aaron through the e-mail link on TripAdvisor about a week before our arrival in Querétaro. I said I was interested in a 2–3 hour city tour in English for our group of 3. He replied within an hour, offering a 3-hour walking tour of the historic district for 120 USD for the 3 of us, and I agreed. He met us at our hotel (which was in the historic district) and gave us an excellent, well-paced tour. In fact, he gave us an extra half-hour. Because we were so pleased with this tour, we asked him to arrange a 6-hour tour the following day of sites outside the city. (Our hotel offered a 10-hour tour, which was longer than we were up for.) Aaron felt we could get to one winery (he suggested Freixenet), one cheese factory, and Peña de Bernal in that time frame. He picked us up in a very comfortable car, and that too was a great tour. It included a simple but delicious lunch of gorditas in Bernal (besides several cheeses and then one sparkling wine at earlier stops). At Freixenet we were allowed to keep the "champagne" flutes we were provided for tasting. I appreciated Aaron's thoughtfulness to ask the staff for a box in which the flutes had been shipped to them. This allowed us to carefully pack them in our luggage, so our "recuerdos" (souvenirs) of our visit arrived intact. We all found Aaron to be personable, well-organized, and well-informed, not only about the particular places we visited, but also about political and social issues which we discussed with him. I appreciated his customizing the tours according to our interests and not wasting our time with stops at "tourist-trap" shops, as has happened on other tours. (TripAdvisor requires picking a "sort of visit" but does not offer an option that fits us: my wife and I were traveling with our adult son who is a university student. I picked "Family [teens]" as the closest category.)

We utilized Aaron as a guide for tours over three separate days in Queretaro. We had a great time and found Aaron to be an excellent guide. Aaron responded to all emails in a timely and professional manner and customized the tours to our requests. We would recommend Aaron as your guide in Queretaro.

Aaron took us on two separate tours of the historic center of Queretaro several months apart. His English is excellent and on both occasions we found him to be a very knowledgeable and interesting guide. He is clearly passionate about the history, culture, architecture, and art of the region, and was happy to answer all of our questions. He was also very flexible and able to tailor the tour to our interests and needs--on one tour I had my elderly mother and he was sensitive to her limitations. He drove us to see the aqueduct and answered several follow-up questions that I had via WhatsApp. I would highly recommend Aaron as a tour guide for either Queretaro or San Miguel. Thanks, Aaron!

We choose the private tour so we could be at our own pace. This tour was perfect for us. It was great getting to see highlights of 2 historical cities. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and suggested a nice local restaurant for lunch. Highly recommend.
