We Segwayed with Chance on Canadian Thanksgiving [just in case we have international readers Canadian Thanksgiving is first, in October, followed in second place by American Thanksgiving in November : ) ] and were very fortunate for us to have a private tour as no one else signed up. It was a glorious fall morning in Edmonton, something we are told is rare. What is a bonus about the Edmonton segway is that they do tours all season round, including snow [something we have not done yet] unless it is too cold. The small group size did not bother Chance at all as he took us through the very lovely river valley of Edmonton stopping at several historic spots providing extensive background on each stop and taking pictures of us at various locations. We enjoyed our ride with Chance very much and would recommend this as a lovely way to spend 90 minutes or so in the quiet part of Edmonton - which is right in the middle of the city! As a young senior I have taken several Segways and quite enjoy the pace and the ground that can be covered and this trip did not disappoint. The River Valley Adventure Company takes safety very seriously and shows a very detailed safety video [along with providing hands on safety training for those without Segway experience]. For those of you who have not Segwayed it is a fun experience that may have a limited life expectancy as these transportation units aren't being made before. The tour in Edmonton is certainly worthwhile taking but don't get put off by the safety video - the Segway is safe, we've done a dozen, as long as you can balance you can Segway.

We did a ladies trip including this amazing Segway tour, it was the highlight of our weekend. It was pretty easy to catch onto and Chase was a fantastic instructor and tour guide. Seeing all the colored leaves in the beautiful river valley was amazing. Will definitely be doing it again.

Yes they do Segway, but one travelling partner wanted to try out an e-bike. We booked ahead to ensure availability, and had a great ride in the river valley. Nearing end-of-season, bike maintenance wasn't stellar but honestly not worse than I've experienced before. Staff were exceptional -- attentive to our concerns and helpful with e-bike setup. Would definitely use them again.

Our grandchildren aged 14 and 18 went on the 90 minute tour. We were amazed to hear how far they got to go from convention centre to the legislature and more. They both absolutely loved it and said it was one of the favourite things they did while visiting. Their guide was great and they had a very enjoyable time.

We made s trip of 1,5 hours with segway at the company. We were very content from the beginning to the end . We had a detailed instruction. We started our tour with Lash and Chance. It was a pleasure. They explained us where we were going and take us Pictures. We are highly recommending them.

We had a great time. They were flexible to change our dates. Very accommodating with all requests. We had a great time on our tour and our guide was fantastic. Never knew about these scenic trails until we took the tour, Thank you so much! We will be back. Will tell our friends and families.

We did the 1.5 hour tour of the River Valley with Yash (apologies if I misspelled) and thoroughly loved it! Yash was very helpful and efficient in teaching me and my 15 year old daughter how to ride the Segway, which became very easy for both of us quickly thanks to him, and he was very knowledgeable about sharing points of history around Edmonton that was fun to learn. The route was very very peaceful and gorgeous with lots of picturesque scenes through beautiful tree-laden paths. It was great to get out of the city and experience rolling hills and a fresh breeze while experiencing this fun adventure with my daughter. We loved it and would highly recommend Yash and this experience to all. Thank you very much Yash good luck at University!!

Amazing time biking through the river valley on the e-bikes (fat tires). The e-bikes had lots of power and a throttle so only had to peddle when you want to. Look forward to doing it again when in Edmonton!!

Great tour. Very professional. Fun and informative tour. Our guide Yasy , enjoyable. All the people at the location we checked in were thoughtful, efficient and cared about the customers. We would go back and use them again. Great location. They also rent e bikes!

so much fun! chris made sure we were safe each step of the way. we explored the legislative grounds, some monuments, and downtown. definitely recommended. you will be a natural segway rider like us at the end of the tour, haha!

Great way to bond with your grandchildren! The instructor was cheery and enthusiastic. All units worked well. Even with two new knees and a new hip, the trip was a huge success.

The tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable, made sure we are safe. The trail is awesome. We are thinking to do it again when we have time!! We had fun.

We had family from out of town and wanted to show them Edmonton - good choice!! Even in the rain, we had a good time. Our guide was terrific!
