Vancouver Highlights Bike Tour - The Grand Tour

Select Date and Travellers
2 travellers
On this popular 5-hour bike tour of Vancouver, ride on dedicated cycling lanes for most of the easygoing route, and stop to hear tales of the city from a knowledgeable guide. Without traffic to worry about, focus on the sights: Stanley Park’s rain forest and wildlife, an oasis in Chinatown named one of the world’s top city gardens, and the city’s historical center of Gastown. Cycle on seawalls for magnificent views of the skyline, North Shore Mountains and False Creek. Riders of all levels will enjoy this small-group tour limited to 12 people.
  • See Vancouver area highlights like Chinatown, Granville Island, and Gastown
  • This bike tour covers more ground than walking tours in the same time frame
  • Dedicated bike lanes and safety-first guides ensure a comfortable ride
  • Use of bicycle, helmet, and lock included, with optional e-bike upgrade
What to Expect
Begin your bike tour in central Vancouver; meet your guide, and go through a safety briefing before setting off on a city ride.
First, cruise to the West End, a historic waterfront neighborhood known for its grand homes. Continue to the 1,000-acre (405-hectares) Stanley Park and take in views of the North Shore Mountains and city skyline—see as far as Mount Baker on a clear day.
Next, bring your bike onto the ferry for a quick ride to Granville Island. Stop just long enough to stroll through the Public Market and grab lunch in an idyllic locale before heading through Olympic Village and Chinatown to Dr Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden, dubbed the "world’s top city garden" by National Geographic.
Conclude your tour with a spin through Gastown, a historic logging outpost turned chic entertainment and shopping district. Arrive back at the bike rental shop by mid-afternoon.

Yes. In fact, you actually stop and get off the bikes. The tour guide keeps an eye on them while you tour the garden. You only tour the free portion of the garden but the view from the free portion is amazing.

Yes you get to go into the Chinese garden but not for long, but if you had a burning desire to stay there longer i'm sure could.
