Overview

Vancouver’s Little Italy is a vibrant area of the city with a long history. Regardless of its checkered past, it has always been a hub of homey restaurants and authentic regional cuisine from “the Old Country.” This tour is your chance to fill up on the culinary goodness that marks Little Italy as one of Vancouver’s top foodie destinations, guided by people with passion for the food and the neighborhood.

What to Expect

The meeting spot at Fratelli’s Bakery on Commercial Drive is your introduction to this tour that immerses you in the flavors of Vancouver's Little Italy. The tour takes you to nine tasting spots in a compact 5-block area, highlighting the concentration of eating establishments in the bustling neighborhood. Meet some of the characters responsible for the colorful history of the place, as you learn what makes this area special.

You’ll feel like you have eaten a big Italian meal over the course of the afternoon, with bites of dishes, including meats and cheeses, pizza made in the authentic Neapolitan way, and pasta. Top it off with gelato and freshly baked cannoli. You won’t need supper after all that!
