        Shabby, rundown buses.
Buses were rundown, shabby; drivers difficult to impossible to understand, one of which spent more time coughing & hacking into the microphone than he did talking. A disappointing experience, definitely not worth the $. For a few extra dollars we could've taken cabs and Ubers and had a much better experience.

I would buy direct, not thru Viator.
Very worthwhile to use as transportation thru the city for 2 days. But Viator couldn't generate a bar code ticket and there were no instructions on what to do beyond "contact operator." We texted and got no reply. Ultimately, we found a stop and asked the driver what to do, and he waived us on. This happened every time we got on! Other than riding ticketless, the tour info was spotty. Some had great tour guides in addition to drivers. Some the driver played a tape, or no tape and just called out the stop. Some drivers gave great commentary. In one case the mic was broken, so guide was trying to talk over street noise, nice try, but fail. Guides said they got a bonus if we found some way to compliment them somewhere. If they gave me a card with their name, or if I could have snapped a photo of their name and barcode to give feedback, or if I was asked to add a tip after, like Uber, I would have!

        Great Whistler Sight Seeing Experience
Nigel was an excellent guide today. He was very knowledgeable and charismatic. He made the entire experience fun and engaging! His love for the Toronto Blue Jays was also comforting in a time when the team was reeling. And he was an awesome photographer!! PS Shoutout to Charlie who drove us and purposely slowed down at good photo spots!

        Unacceptable service
I have a complaint to make… we boarded the bus at stop 9 (entertainment district) at 8:55 am. There were 5 of us that bought tickets on the bus. We were trying to get back to that stop around 5 pm. We were going to get on the bus at the clock but that bus said he was done that there was another bus coming. So we got onto the other bus 3 mins later, he took us to Canadian place and said that’s his last stop for everyone to get off. Mind you there were alot of people upset because he told us to get an Uber to go to our next stop! This was at 5pm and it says last stops at 6:05 to where we needed to go. I was traveling with all older people and 2 had canes and trouble walking and 1 person who was 95 yrs old. This is why we bought tickets in the first place so they didn’t have to walk! Your driver kicked us out on the street that is completely unacceptable!!! What kind of business is this?

        Rainy day In Vancouver
It was a very wet day in Vancouver. 33 mm of rain. Despite this the tour was amazing. Very interesting sites. We really enjoyed it. Our tour guide Steve Kelly was excellent. Very informative and entertaining. He was unassuming and kind in his approach, especially with the elderly on the tour. Thank you so much Gray Line and Steve for a wonderful day. :-)

        Depends on the driver
So first driver had a recording that played outlining sights, and the driver chimed in at various times. We changed drivers at stop 14 (4 stops from where we started). The new driver did not play the recording, but did speak, though we couldn’t understand hardly anything he was saying, and when he did mention places didn’t say to look left or right, or where they were. We finished one loop and got off back where we started to hit the restroom and stretch our legs. When we rejoined the tour again this time our driver didn’t play the recording or speak at all except “This is stop X”. Basically a bus ride at this point. We got off in Gastown to eat lunch, then walked to the cruise port (Welcome Center) and picked up the tour again with another driver. This one played the recording for a bit, then chatted with a couple up front and no longer pointing out any sights. He did make some humorous comments that were at least entertaining. Worth $50 Canadian each? I’m on the fence about that as it all depends on your driver.

Fabulous tour not to be missed if you are visiting Vancouver! The Butchart Gardens left us speechless!
Fabulous day out to a spectacular location! The Butchart Gardens are a destination not to be missed if you are travelling to Vancouver. The gardens are exquisite and have a very interesting back story. Just walking around the gardens is a ‘feel good’ experience. It is very easy to find your way around, and we could have spent even longer here. Dave Roger’s was our tour guide and was really entertaining and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to ensure that we saw as much as we could on our tour. He regaled us with stories that made the day even more memorable. I would highly recommend this tour.

Good experience, especially with Sherry as the driver.
Great way to see the city and all the beautiful architecture. On some of the busses the recorded message wasn’t very clear. The best driver was Sherry! She gave the most understandable information and you could hear her! Highly recommend. Judi

Disgraceful! Uncomfortable and unreliable. Should be called the ‘Hop On Hop Off if you Dare’! Tour!
Absolutely disgraceful! We waited 45 minutes for a bus that was jam packed (clearly not enough buses in operation). Whilst we planned to ‘hop off’ at a couple of places on the circuit, we chose not to due to the fear of not being able to get back on!! At many of the stops, many people were left behind as there simply wasn’t enough room on the bus! It was rainy day (I know that is no one’s fault) but it was next to impossible to see out of the bus, and there was a leak in the roof directly over our seats that periodically sent cold drips down our backs! If you can’t offer the service you advertise, then don’t bother! This business should be re-named the ‘Hop On, Hop Off if you dare and aren’t worried about getting back’ Tour!!

        Buchart & Victoria Great Tour
This was an excellent trip thanks to Dave Roger's, our bus driver. He is not just a bus driver, he is a great guy with a wealth of knowledge and interesting stories relevant to the areas we were visiting. A good part of the day is traveling by bus & ferry, so Dave's stories and info on the bus really made the trip a great one. We had 1 hr. 35 minutes at the garden's and 2 hours in Victoria. Of course we would have liked more time, but we had to meet the ferry schedule. The 90 minute ferry ride each way was beautiful. All in all we had a great day and would recommend this tour. They also have hotel pick up and drop off which was convenient.

Good way to spend a day getting acquainted with Vancouver
Great way to spend a day getting an overview of Vancouver ~ provided you get the double-decker bus and the right driver! We started our journey on an open-air bus, and the driver was hard to understand. We were dropped off at Granville Island where we had a bite to eat at a lovely seafood restaurant. We were picked up at that stop by the double-decker bus, driven by a guy who was easy to understand, pointed out many more sights and provided a much more enriching experience.

This was a disappointing tour that one could consider a glorified taxi ride to the Capiano Suspension Bridge. While the guide was very nice and super accomodating to us, it didn't make up for the feeling we bought and paid for nothing of much substance. Once we got going from Canada Place, we went directly to the Capilano bridge and spent 2 hours there. After that we were told that, while Granville Island etc was on our tour we would just be driving through since "most things were closing" ... apparently because it was a Monday? We weren't sure. Being at the back of a frigid tour bus only looking at stuff through the windows wasn't exactly what we anticipated. We ended up bailing on the tour in the city, something another family did along with us.

If you're interested in seeing the Capilano Bridge, I'd personally suggest taking an Uber or taxi unless you can be certain the trip itinerary will be fulfilled.

Thank you for your feedback about your tour. It is unfortunate that you did not have a good experience. There is a lot of Vancouver that is still not open to accept visitors which is indeed disappointing. Granville Island is certainly open for visitors but certain locations are temporarily closed or close at different times. Our time spent at Capilano Suspension Bridge is normally around 2 hours to allow visitors to experience as much of the rain forest as possible. We will address the bus air conditioning feedback with the team. We want to be more cognizant of the weather conditions to ensure our guests are comfortable. I urge you to contact out office directly if you have any questions or comments at 1-877-451-1777.

Pick-up driver almost left us out. Had we not approched him. The bus driver's dislike towatrds coloured passengers was being obvious though hew was trying his best to hide it. At the end of the tour the pick-up driver rudely advised us to go walking to our hotel telling it is walkable though we were new to city. Our second tour of victoria and buchhaart garden the pick-up driver never responded to our bus driver's repeated call. Ultimately the bus driver dropped us to our hotel. I will not call this a professional service. I

We were meant to be met in our lobby at 11.30 but no one showed up so we went outside and eventually I found the lady who seemed out of her depth. She crossed my name off and said wait here… After 20 minutes I finally spotted her again across the road (she seemed flustered looking for people) finally she walked us to the bus.
Our guide Graham was jolly and pointed out a few places of interest on way to the bridge.
We got there at 1 and had until 3 to enjoy the area.
Walking across the wobbly bridge snd high forest walk ways was fun. We also listened to talks from two bird handlers with an owl and a hawk.
We had to wait 10 minutes for 2 ladies who cane back onto the bus with shopping bags from the gift shop, thanks for keeping 50 people waiting…
Next stop Granville island where we were given an hour. We strolled through the food market and had a mooch in some of the artisan shops. It’s a nice buzzy area.
We got back to the bus and asked Graham what the drill was now and he said bus back and then shuttle buses to hotels…. Needless to say we just ordered an Uber instead..
If we had realised it was going to be a big coach and basically those two stops we would’ve independently visited both sites.
Both are worth visiting but just do it yourself..

No tour guide on the bus which drops us off no explanation at the suspended walkway where they say sorry you have to wait 45 minutes for your group time or pay $50 each to do the walk. We took an Uber and left and as far as we know no one ever notixed we had left the group.

No explanations no tour guide as promised. Waste of time and money

This is a good way to see some of the highlights of Vancouver by Greyline coaches. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to a central point were we joined our 6 hour tour on a comfortable coach with an excellent guide. This primarily provides
      - a short tour of Vancouver without any stops but with interesting commentary
      - the Capilano Suspension bridge with admission included and where you have about 2 hour free time which is plenty.
      - a stop at Granville Island for about 45 mins.
We were dropped off at our hotel at the end.
I found it a bit expense at c£100 Sterling equivalent each but it was the best way to see the suspension bridge and Granville Island.

Many thanks to Westcoast sightseeing and our guide Mark for a fabulous tour of Vancouver yesterday. We saw so much in 5 hours and as it was raining this was a great way to see and do things. The highlights were the Granville Island markets and the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Mark provided an informative commentary with some very corny jokes!! Thanks Mark!

The organisation of the tour was excellent. We were picked up from our hotel on time and taken to join the large bus and our guide Derek. Derek is a local and so was able to give a personal view point to the areas we visited. Often funny but always insightful it made for a very interesting commentary. I also appreciated Derek utilising our time effectively- we made good time due to lighter traffic, so rather than wait at the Capilano car park for our allotted time, we visited the gorge and fisheries further upstream.
The Capilano bridge and tree top tour were excellent.
I found this tour to be a great way to get orientated for the rest of our trip to Vancouver

We really enjoyed this bus tour! The tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging. He took us all around Vancouver, explaining literally every nuance of the city and answered questions from the group. Lots of stop offs to shop. The Capilano Bridge and Grouse Mountain were especially enjoyable! Highly recommend!

Great driver/guide. Keen to please / deliver and help out my elderly mother but didn’t get that much actual touring for $288 for 2. Three hrs of the 5 hr trip is spent at 2 stops so felt the service was great but the value for money not so Such a pity they won’t allow even modern fold up electric scooters on board as that would have transformed my mothers experience. I appreciate they would need this to be pre booked but there is plenty of space on board for 1 or 2

Good tour of the city with stops at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, Granville Island and Queen Elizabeth Park. Our tour guide Simon was so pleasant, comical and very knowledgeable. The tour lasted about 4.5 hours, Would recommend to anyone visiting Vancouver for the first time!

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
