- ITRT0 contributionsEnjoyable ItineraryWe booked the Landsea Tours and Adventures Ltd shore excursion “Vancouver City Sightseeing Tour Granville Island and Stanley Park” for our visit to Sitka. Did you know Stanley Park is recognized as one of the great parks? It is Vancouver’s first park and one of its main tourist attractions. Pre-cruise communication with this tour company was excellent. Our tour guide Kaleen provided a good commentary on the highlights of Vancouver City as well as Granville Island. If your travels bring you to Vancouver, I recommend taking this tour with Landsea Tours and Adventures Ltd.Written 10 November 2024

- 604dorish0 contributionsExcellent Overview of VancouverThe tour led by Greg covered the main Vancouver sights and was very informative. After getting this great overview of the city, I spent the afternoon walking around many of the sights that Greg showed us in the morning and I felt comfortable and safe knowing where I was going.Written 28 October 2024
- Catherine R0 contributionsA great way to get a feel for VancouverSuch a good way to get a feel for Vancouver on the first day of my visit. The tour guide was excellent, pointing out all the highlights. I particularly loved Stanley Park, and also Granville Island. Browsing the market and shops on a sunny autumn day was heaven.Written 28 October 2024
- Gregory N0 contributionsWonderful Tour of VancouverExcellent tour of Vancouver, including stops in Stanley Park and Granville Island. What an incredible public market at Granville, we have never seen so many food booths with such beautiful enticing fresh fare. And the produce is incredible as well... At lunch time there were 3 live musicians playing around the market, and all were outstanding. We liked Granville so much we plan on staying at the hotel on the island next time we come to Vancouver.Written 27 October 2024
- E6169KNwilliamd0 contributionsBeautiful and charmingLong but enjoyable tour. Our guide, Rodrigo was a great source of information. Bucharest Gardens cannot be missed. Beautiful and tranquil. Much more that just another botanical garden. Victoria is charming, very interesting and walkable. Rodrigo made great suggestions on how to spend our free timeWritten 27 October 2024

- Sue T0 contributionsVancouver Hop On Bus Great StaffWe used the hop on bus service for two days and found the service very good. The buses ran to time and the drivers and tour guides were excellent. I would particularly mention Zelda and Sherry who were completing their last shift of the season on the day we travelled with them. They are a great asset to the bus companyWritten 16 October 2024
- MisterCJB_570 contributionsGreat way to experience Vancouver. We just had one day in Vancouver before boarding the Rocky Mountaineer. So this half day tour was perfect for getting a feel for Vancouver before we left. Carol our driver/ host was an excellent guide and the weather was great too.Written 16 October 2024
- kathleenz1050 contributionsHalf day tour of VancouverI wish we could have booked the all day tour, but we only had time for a half-day because we had to catch a flight home. However, the half-day tour was filled with lots of sightseeing and history about the city. Toni was our bus driver and tour guide for the day, and she was awesome! I very much enjoyed her sense of humor and the way she told her stories.Written 12 October 2024
- MikeNDeeNAz0 contributionsTour was OKWe enjoyed this city tour but felt it would have been better if it was a smaller group tour. There were about 20-24 of us on this tour by Land & Sea. On the bigger buses, it is hard to see everything out of the window. We toured almost all of Stanley Park in the bus, only got out for a short while to admire the different Totem Poles. We had more time at Granville Island, lots of stores to peruse around and also had eating places. This is very similar to the Market in Seattle, WA. We had a delicious sandwich and chocolate croissant at The Bread Company. The sandwiches are so big that we split one between us.Written 11 October 2024
- babbyhay0 contributionsExcellent Experience with a Super TeamMy husband and I got so lucky to have the team of Tony the driver and Owen the narrator. Tony was an excellent driver, but Owen was the real star. It was a pleasure having a live person doing the narrating anyway, but Owen was exceptional. He filled us in on so much interesting information with background stories and personal experience that the ride may have been our best HOHO ride ever. The team had to leave before the last 3 stops, and it was a totally different experience without them. Owen deserves lots of credit.Written 9 October 2024

The suspension bridge is amazing, however it is reached only by paying over $60-. The park has become set up for crowds so folks are directed through one. Way paths, that are bordered by fake plastic and wire “cute” animals, piped music. In all I found the experience had been over manipulated in order to be accessible to all levels of fitness and disability, seniors and children. So if you have the money and a range of abilities in your group, this is a wonderful way to see an amazing bridge. Be prepared to spend $5- for a bottle of water and hundreds in the gift shops.
To me this took away from the natural beauty. You could hardly hear the roar of the spectacular falls and water below in the river because of the piped music along the bridge. If you are fit and love nature more naturally, I recommend going by road to another access point to the river system next follow a hiking trail. There are other suspension bridges at different points along the river accessible by public paths, free.

Excellent tour with a great overview of the city and very insightful guide. The price was reasonable considering entry to each location was included and the tour covered much of the city. The guide made the trip extra special and their commentary on history, culture, recommendations etc was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend to others as a perfect introduction to Vancouver.

My son and I took this tour and had an amazing time. The tour driver was knowledgeable and gave some good history of the city and how it has evolved over the years. I really enjoyed our stop at Stanley Park, as well as our time on the suspension bridge which I highly recommend

Brandon the tour guide was a great driver, professional, comedic, and full of interesting facts about Vancouver and it’s history. He made the tour for us. Fun and great way to see the city. Took enough time at each stop and didn’t feel rushed. Great for all ages!

Despite grey and grumpy looking weather, todays adventure was a Vancouver City Highlights + Lookout & Capilano Suspension Bridge tour. We were picked up from within walking distance of our hotel by Greg who was our driver and guide for the day. A few stops later and we had picked up the remaining people on the tour. A comfortable, clean and roomy bus took us to our first stop.
Took in part of Stanley Park, particularly the totem poles, the Granville Island markets, the Vancouver Lookout and then of course, the bridge. The bridge was definitely our favourite. Fortunately the rain held off and started just as the tour finished. Spent a bit more time on the bus than expected but we covered a large area of the city and had a decent amount of time at each of the stops. Dropped off at the front door of the hotel.
Greg provides an entertaining and informative narrative as we drive along pointing out the local landmarks and even included his (lesser known) condo location where his girlfriend’s niece came out to wave hello! 👋
Had a great day out and would highly recommend this tour and Greg as your guide.

I usually don’t provide reviews of anything, however, our tour (yesterday 7/18/23) and guide was AMAZING! Basil/Bazil provided a most excellence experience. He brought a wonderful combination of Vancouver historical facts, a real picture of Vancouver’s various areas and neighborhoods, and liberally sprinkled his own history and experiences which provided an insiders view of life in the city in a very humanistic manner. His background of growing up in Vancouver and sharing of extra little details added so much to the tour he gave us. I’m sure someone will have a criticism of something and that’s natural, but for us, it was absolutely perfect!
Soooo thankful!!! We wish him and LandSea tours all the best.

Alex, our driver and tour guide, was very personable and knowledgeable. Enjoyed the tidbits about life in Vancouver and Canada in general—down to the proliferation of Teslas in downtown Vancouver. This tour gave a good view of the city and culminated with ample time exploring Capilano Suspension Bridge park —- which surprisingly offered more than just a walk across the dizzyingly high bridge. Highly recommend this tour!

I had a day to see the city before my cruise and this was just the perfect choice. Pickup was at my hotel and our tour guide, Brandon, was just the right amount of friendly. The tour itself hit the highlights of the city, and when we were dropped off at different sites, we had ample time to explore without being rushed. The suspension bridge area was beautiful and a little scary. If I come back to Vancouver, I'd probably set aside time to walk or bike around Stanley Park, but this tour gave me the overview of it. Shopping and eating at Granville Island was another highlight.

For anyone visiting Vancouver for the first time, this is a must. The excursion was especially memorable because of our amazing guide, Alessio, a Vancouver native, who was punctual, professional, highly knowledgeable, and really exemplifies what a tour guide should be. They will come pick you up from your hotel, or select a location that is close to you. We were staying at an Airbnb condo, and they picked us up from a hotel that was about 5 min walk. We were also fortunate enough to have Alessio the next day when we did the one day Victoria trip. He’s a great resource for any local recommendations for food! Highly recommend and if you can, ask for Alessio.

We had a wonderful time learning all about Vancouver and seeing. Our tour guide was wonderful and had a good sense of humor and made the day very enjoyable. The suspension bridge was awesome and if you include that in your price of your excursion, it makes the day very affordable. Highly recommend this as a pre-post Alaskan cruise excursion.

Do you have a Vancouver tour that will pick up at Cruise Port and drop off at Airport (and carry luggage).
