Overview

Visit Niagara-on-the-Lake to taste the area's world-renowned wines on this small-group tour. Sample ice wine, native to the region, as well as other vintages—and even enjoy some cheese pairings at one of the wineries. Learn about the history of the region's vineyards and wine production methods from your guide, and don’t worry about choosing a designated driver, as round-trip transport from your hotel is included.

What to Expect

When booking, choose from a morning or afternoon excursion to fit your schedule. Meet your guide at a central point or enjoy pickup at your hotel, depending on which option you book.

On the morning excursion, follow your guide to three wineries situated near the famous Niagara Falls. Embark on a guided tour, including stops in the vineyards and tasting room, at one of the largest local wineries. You’ll learn about the vintages, wine-making methods, and vineyard history from your guide, while tasting samples. At one stop, you'll enjoy an expert cheese pairing.

The slightly longer afternoon tour stops first at one of the area's most popular wineries for a guided vineyard tour and tasting. Then you’ll hit some wineries that many tours fail to visit. Taste renowned Ontario ice wine, and enjoy cheese pairings.

Relax or snooze on the ride home to your original departure point.

Fun Day

Pete was a great tour guide. We saw four wineries - they were a nice blend of small and medium size. Was great to see more of the countryside than we might have on our own.
