About
This tour is 100% outdoors, making it an excellent activity for you and your bubble. We started offering our 30 minute Spin in 2005 and it has been a crowd favourite since then. Once you pass our training session, one of our charming guides will lead you around the gorgeous Distillery District at a breezy 10 km/h. Along the way they’ll tell you some of the best stories we’ve got about the 14 acre neighbourhood. Perfect and recommended for beginners, you won't believe how fun and easy the machine is to ride. If you want a great introduction to the Distillery District and the Segway, this is the tour for you.

What to expect
  • There are walking tours and there are bus tours, but this unique Segway tour provides an entirely new perspective on the city of Toronto and its trendy Distillery District. Riding on a Segway isn’t rocket science, but it’s important to know how to maneuver one, especially gliding around a bustling city like Toronto. So this tour begins in the historic Distillery District with a brief but thorough training session to make sure everyone feels comfortable and knowledgeable about their Segway. A helmet and safety equipment are provided. With the training out of the way, it’s time to take it to the streets. On this 30-minute Segway tour around the Distillery District, cruise along the pedestrian-only brick roads and alleyways that pass the many modern sculptures, designer boutiques, unique pubs and cafés, artisan shops, art galleries and award-winning restaurants.  This internationally acclaimed, pedestrian-only village features more than 70 ground-floor cultural and retail establishments in the restored red brick, Victorian-era buildings of the old Gooderham and Worts whiskey distillery. Gooderham and Worts was once the largest distiller of alcoholic beverages in Canada. The Distillery District is the place to see and be seen. It’s not just one of Toronto’s hottest tourist attractions, it’s one of Canada’s most popular. Hop on a Segway and discover it in style.

We loved our Segway tour with Nicole. She was great and very knowledgeable. She was friendly and helped us get great pictures on our Segway by the Christmas tree

Great time with Erik! A fun tour where you get to learn how to use the Segway at first and also history of the Distillery! Great for locals and tourists alike and also a great price for what you get. Since I did it off season, my tour guide also had time to take photos and a video! Would highly recommend! Also Erik made a bunch of funny jokes and made what would otherwise have been a boring evening into a great one.

Nicole was fantastic! She was knowledgeable about the Distillery and clearly loves what she does (who wouldn't on these amazing Segways?). It was a blast. Looking forward to doing it again soon!

Very enjoyable tour through the beautiful Distillery District. I have lived in Toronto my whole life and still learned new things about the city from our guide, Nicole. Our family of three visited on a rainy day but the Segways were still easy to use and the staff gave us a good orientation before we got underway. We are looking forward to trying another one of their tours.

Allyson - we do our best to dig up real Toronto history that few have ever heard. We're glad you enjoyed your tour even if it wasn't the sunniest of days. Thanks for joining us and we can't wait to see the 3 of you again!

Rolakeo - we're glad you enjoyed the tour with Nicole - she's pretty incredible! We're just stoked to be back in action after 10 months being cooped up inside. Thanks for supporting our small business!

Great tour from David at Go Tours throughout the Toronto Distillery District. Nicely informative tour leaving our group a little more educated of the areas history. Fun for an afternoon (or if you're playing tourist).

No one in our group had experience on a Segway but they're incredibly easy to learn. We all felt very confident driving them around even in the crowds. Go Tours team gives everyone some one on one operational training before starting the tour. They also provide helmets. Definitely recommend wearing thick gloves if riding in the winter months like we did.

Overall a great experience!
