      Nice short excursion
This was a last minute booking and it was just as expected. Our guide was full of all kinds of information, very detail and entertaining. It was the perfect amount of time and a good ride to show you around and familiarize yourself with the area. Definitely recommend.

      Nice visit
A nice inexpensive tour of the Charlottetown area. We had a great driver (Dean) with a sense of humour. Yappy people on the top deck made it hard to hear the commentary. But I would recommend this, especially for a ship excursion.

      Tours-R-Us
We went on a tour with Paul, the owner of Tours-R-Us. Paul has been a resident most of his life and is very knowledgeable about the area. He tailored our tour to the stops that we wanted. It was a private and very enjoyable experience! He recommended Water Prince Corner Shop restaurant for lobster rolls and they did not disappoint! Very good lobster rolls and great service! I recommend Paul and Tours-R-Us if you port in Charlottetown! He had us back in plenty of time to have dinner and then get back to our ship! Give him a call! 902-384-5070

      Economical overview of Charlottetown
Pouring rain; the guide is informative and amusing but the bus is very old and leaks!! You get what you pay for; the tour was economical.

The Best of PEI in 1 Hour!
This was a perfect tour! Our tour guide in the double deck was informative, interactive and funny! We saw so many hi-lights and then had enough time to go back to the sites we wanted to see up close before getting back on the cruise ship.

      Good tour
We really enjoyed visiting this city and the people were very welcoming. We did a bus tour of the city and our driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. If we come again, definitely would like to look more in depth at this area.

great overview but needed more time
PEI is a delightful island. Charlottetown is an historic city. We wanted to see as much as possible so we booked this tour. It was a great pick up spot. Overall we loved the tour. We were able to see the beauty and learn the history. There were a few things that could make it even better. Before we even left, our tour guide Joan seemed a bit frenetic with the numbers. I know she's responsible for all people on board the bus but it seems counting the empty seats would have been easier. This later caused a huge problem at the Green Gables stop. We were significantly delayed there due to numbers. Everyone was on board but she insisted they weren't. We kept suggesting she just count the empty seats. Another thing we would have loved would be to leave an hour or so earlier so we could have more time at each stop. We were very rushed at every stop. I could have spent 2 hours at Green Gables but we had 45 minutes and were rushed. Overall it was great but it felt a little stressful. The tour gave me a taste for PEI and I want to return someday and spend a lot more time.

      A beautiful day on PEI!
Margaret was our tour guide. She was warm, friendly and very knowledgeable. She also interacted wonderfully with our children. We had just the right amount of time at each of our stops and the bus was clean and comfortable.

      Best shopping in Charlottetown
Very scenic on a sunny day. We found it very walkable and found some great shops at the Peaks Quay which is very close to the cruise port. There is also some fantastic shops right inside the terminal. A lot of locally made items at reasonable prices. Highly recommend you take a peak if you have time.

Oakdale Church Deshler Ohio bus trip to Lancaster PA
A fantastic trip through Senior Excursions to Lancaster PA. Moses at Sight and Sound was incredible! We also enjoyed The Home Game at Bird-in-Hand Theater. Other stops were the Amish Experience, Bird-in-Hand Farmers Market, Kitchen Kettle Village, and Strasburg Railroad. So much packed into three days. Our bus company Excursions Trailways Ft Wayne and our hotel The Tru were great! Great food at Miller's and Yoders Smorgasbords. Highly recommend this trip. Great experience.

Charlottetown a nice place to visit.
I believe that this tour gave a good overview of the city and some of the suburbs. The driver was entertaining and humorous time well spent. The bus was older, and while the bus was quaint, it was somewhat uncomfortable, because the seats were not necessarily attached . Other than this, I think it was a trip worth taking.

      Very informative!
We took the tour first day into our holidays and learned a good deal about the city and where we wanted to explore more! Our driver was very informative and provided ideas also of where to eat in the upcoming week. The bus does need a little upkeep though

This was such a great experience, we brought our dog with us on vacation and this was a dog friendly place! The dogs can not go inside the buildings but we gladly took turns entering. Due to Covid-19 the lines were non existent and it was quick so a perfect time to visit! We highly recommend this as a tourist location for the whole family. They are practicing Covid safety, and the staff are all very friendly!

Pleasant bus ride out to Green Gables museum and home sight - had time to visit the house, grounds and displays and enjoyed the drive through the countryside. Great visit to the Preserve Farm and gardens - dodged the rain for the most part. Great way to see some key sights on a cruise ship visit.

I've wanted to see the Anne of Green Gables homestead for a long, long time, and our visit didn't disappoint--once we got there, that is. The "Island Drive" and tour was a disappointment, but had so much potential. We ended up on the bus of a woman who spouted a lot of incorrect facts (like telling us P.E.I. produced 25% of the world's potatoes where it's just 25% of CANADA's potatoes) and muttering things like, "I think that building coming up on the right is a laboratory or something?" Mainly she spent our long drive through this incredible landscape droning on about how little snow they got last year and how climate change and overuse of plastics were destroying the world, while she missed every opportunity to tell us about the island itself, and about L.M. Montgomery and her delightful stories and books (the whole reason we were on the tour). So the tour itself was awful, but the homestead was delightful and quaint, and the visitor's center at Anne of Green Gables offered a wonderful array of stories and artifacts about L.M. Montgomery's life and work. You do have to know and love the Anne of Green Gables stories to fully appreciate this excursion, though, so brush up (maybe even watch the movies!) before you go.

Tour and tour guide were excellent. Anne of GG site and museum were good but staff at cafe easily overwhelmed by just a few people trying to get something to eat. They only had chips, ice cream and beaver tails that took WAY too long to cook for the number of people there. Short stop at jam/preserves shop which couldn’t handle two busses of people. Tour guide was excellent with interesting stories. Scenery was outstanding. Would do it again but would pack a lunch and something to drink!!!

If you’re looking for a way to visit Green Gables and you have your own transportation you should go directly to the site on your own. The tour is on a big tour bus that makes a couple other stops besides GG for a few minutes in a lobster village and at a nice little preserves maker, but you only get around an hour at GG. The bus doesn’t go to or near the beaches or lighthouses. The tour guide is engaging and enthusiastic, but there aren’t many historic places to narrate so it’s a lot about farming and fishing and life on the island, etc. So if you’re an Anne fan and you have a car, go on your own to Green Gables where admission is less than $10 U.S.

We went in October 2022. I would say this tour is worth taking if you have limited time to explore the Anne of Green Gables museum. The guide was very enthusiastic and informative and she shared her knowledge with us in a way that was engaging and enjoyable. The bus we took was clean and in good repair and everything was very comfortable. Unfortunately we could not walk on the beaches because the recent hurricanes eroded them so badly. That was honestly a huge disappointment because it’s one of the iconic things in the movie, that red sand. Not anyone’s fault but it would have been nice to at least stop and take pictures of the scenery. L. M. Montgomery’s books are so descriptive of scenery and it felt like we didn’t really get much of that on the drive. I also would have liked to stop at her gravesite. Maybe not everyone would do that but it felt like it would have been a nice spot to pause for a moment at. Having said all that, we were on a cruise and we’re grateful to have had at least a little taste of PEI while we were there. We hope to go back and spend more time really getting to know the place one day.

Our tour guide did an outstanding job narrating our tour, pointing out the history and highlights of Prince Edward Island. Green Gables was a worthwhile trip, although the grounds were very busy when we were there. Our host advised we see the house first before stopping at the gift shop, and this tip helped us see the important parts during our time there. My husband is not a serious Anne of Green Gables fan, but he enjoyed it.

Dawnelda (sp?) was delightful. She and the bus driver have a comedy routine which kept us chuckling. We learned a great deal about PEI and its history plus current economy and livelihood of the residents. Loved it so much, we'd like to come back to visit again! The guide was so positive. It was a windy, rainy day and she reminded us of how lucky we were to be there on a day when the waves were so beautiful!

She gave information about PEI including history, economy, geology. But the best part was Green Gables where I was not told what someone else wanted me to know about Anne, but gave me the time to dwell on my memories from first reading the books in 1947. My memories were respected. The properties were cared for and kept up to expectations. It was as if the character had just left for school.

We loved this tour! The guide, Maura Lee, was very personable and had a great sense of humor. She entertained us the entire trip. This island is beautiful and looks quite different from the other provinces we have visited so far. We greatly enjoyed seeing it and learning about it. We learned much about lobster fishing, which we knew nothing about, and it was super interesting. We can highly recommend this trip as a great way to spend 4 hours and experience Prince Edward Island!
