It was a solid good trip. Our guide Martin is a Montreal native and his family has been in the province for 12 generations I believe? I like a little more history of important people rather than buildings, but I’m sure others are different. All in all a good tour and would recommend. Martin had said we must do the light tour of Notre Dame and at first I hesitated, as I’ve seen plenty of churches. And in the words of the saintly Shania Twain “ They don’t impress me much” but at Martin’s insistence, I gave the Catholics some money to attend the 9:00 show. True story is that it’s amazing. Glad I did it.

I have done West Old Montreal on last Saturday. Frederick was an amazing tour guide! His knowledge of the city, the great stories and his enthusiasm kept us engaged the entire tour. He had a great mix of humor and knowledge. I learned a lot about the history of Montreal. I highly recommend this tour! Very much worth it and very, very informative!

Pierre is a great source of information on Old Montreal. He gave our group tons of historical and cultural facts. We hit all the key landmarks and he gave suggestions on where to eat and shop. He was inclusive and made sure everyone was comfortable. The combo tour is long, but worth the experience. Merci beaucoup Pierre!

Walking tours of Ouest & Est (West & East) Old Montreal were very enjoyable. I was traveling solo, an older woman, finishing a cruise at Montreal. I wanted to see what Old Montreal was all about. The (2) 1.5 hour walking tours were perfect. Our guide, "Thomas", was very knowledgeable, humorous, timely, dependable and professional. The combination tour provided one hour break in-between morning walk and afternoon walk. At the conclusion of the morning tour, Thomas ended at a public building that provided restrooms and places nearby to quickly eat or shop. The start location for each tour was very easy to find, nearby the hotel I stayed at; Hotel Place D'Armes, which I'd also recommend. The tour helped me to feel safe and able to walk about later in the day/evening, to revisit restaurants and shops on my own. I would recommend the combination tour to learn about and appreciate Montreal's culture, history and embracable charm.

Thomas was a wonderful tour guide. He had a great mix of humor and knowledge. We had a little difficulty finding the group but the company was very easy to reach via phone and stayed on the call with us until we found the group. I would definitely book again.

Signed up for both the East and West tours and was glad I did as both are unique to their regions. Both guides were informative and provided the details in a fun manner. Great way to get the lay of the land so you know which areas you want to return to.

My husband and I had a Guidatour of Montreal with Sebastien. It was a beautiful day and he took us and our semi-private group around the Old City. He was wonderful. Very informative but also responsive to any and all questions. He also indulged us with a few treats along the way! It was the perfect introduction to the history and architecture of Montreal and I couldn't recommend it more, and Sebastien in particular.

Francesco was an excellent guide--funny and knowledgeable. In addition to all I learned about Montreal's Old Port, I also learned many facts about the USA that I didn't know.

Christian was an excellent guide. He was factual, honest and answered questions appropriately. He should be rewarded for great service.

We went on a walking tour with Thomas K. who is one of the funniest, informative, and knowledgeable guides I have run into. He kept the whole group on our toes by asking questions on both Canada and U.S. history. He was fully open to answering all types of questions we threw at him, while imparting all you need to know about Montreal old and new places plus influential people that shaped the city. Overall, a very fun experience to get to know the city.

We took the East side walking tour of Old Montreal. Christian was a wonderful guide. He had a thorough knowledge of the historical details and answered all our questions with great enthusiasm. He was funny and gave us good recommendations for shopping and eating. I would highly recommend this tour.

I have previously left a poor review regarding my experience on this tour. On my return home I was contacted by telephone by the company who were most concerned and wished to apologise. This was genuinely expressed and demonstrated their efforts to provide good service. On this basis I am satisfied that my experience was most likely an isolated occurrence and a momentary lapse of judgement on the part of the tour guide. I am happy to say that the matter has been addressed and on this basis would recommend Guideatour.

Our tour of old town was perfect! Our guide packed in a ton of great information in the 90 minutes; history, architecture, real estate information and recommendations. She was fantastic!
