Small tastes of the best of Lisle d'Orleans
We visited four different local producers and they were all very high quality, starting with chocolate, then nougat, then cider, and finally wine. Whenever I go on food tours I almost never buy anything. But these were all so delicious I took away souvenirs from almost every visit. I especially loved the incredible nougat.

Our very warm tour guide Celine explained everything equally in both French and English. The bus was comfortable and offered gorgeous views of autumn in Quebec, with even a cute sneak peek of Les Chutes-Montmorency

Hot, thirsty, and nothing special
Aug 2021
Bus was stiflingly hot and there was no water provided. Two of the older people on the tour were so hot and dehydrated that I was worried they might collapse from heat and by the third stop, they wouldn't even get off the bus by the third stop. The four tastings were nothing special. They were basically like the free samples you'd get at a duty free shop in the airport. The chocolate "tasting" was literally the driver/guide bringing a tray of chocolates outside the shop and offering one to each of us as we stood thirsty and sweating by the road, after which we went inside to get ice cream cones. No real "food" was offered -- just sticky candy, a chocolate, and a few swallows of wine and cider. Only four stops and no sightseeing stops. The only redeeming factor was that the island is beautiful, the driver's narration was very interesting and we learned a lot about the history of the island.

TASTE BUD OVERLOAD
Jan 2020
Our tour ended up being a private tour with 4 of us ladies. Our tour director was a delightful lady named Celine and she took us to some wonderful establishments. We started off with a chocolate stop to taste and of course, purchase all kinds of goodies. Then, to a wine tasting place, a nougat place, a jams and jellies and mustard place and finally, a coffee place. At each stop, we purchased stuff. They can ship wine home also. All in all....a delightful tour.

Excellent driver/guide; terrible communication with office
Jan 2020
An excellent tour with Celine. We visited the chocolate shop, blackcurrant wine producer, ciderie, and nougat shop. Stunning scenery and brilliant amount of commentary from Celine along the way. Unfortunately communication with the company before the tour was terrible. Despite contacting them 4 times, via 3 different means, beginning two months before the tour, I am still waiting for an answer to my question. Their lack of response has cetainly sullied my opinion of the company. I probably wouldn't book with them again in future, which is a shame because the guide/driver was great.

A Trip to Isle d’Orleans
Loved our half a day trip to the island with Jeff as our driver and tour guide. Jeff was great! I knew I wanted to drive around the island but didn’t want to rent a car to get there. This was a great way to get there. We visited five different places. We tasted and purchased at most of the stops. It was fun to get home and taste our purchases as it reminded us of our visit to this island across from Quebec City. We still have a bottle of Creme de Cassis, a black current alcoholic drink to enjoy soon maybe over ice cream and a jar of onion confit on a burger! Great souvenirs!

Morning trip to Ile d’Orleans
My daughter and I enjoyed this excursion immensely. Our guide Celine was a wealth of knowledge about the island and Quebec history generally. The tastings of Cassis spirits, Apple ice wine, nougats and the Belgian chocolates were scrumptious. Well worth doing.
