This was the perfect way to learn about Quebec City - we learned it is pronounced "Keybec". We started in the lower city and our guide (Carole) provided a comprehensive overview of the old city. We traversed around the city including taking the funicular to the top. Our guide provided just the right amount of information. I highly endorse this tour.

This tour was amazing! I loved that we got such different food at each stop and did not leave feeling hungry. Such a wonderful way to tour this beautiful city.

Our evening food and wine tour is a bit pricey, but in my opinion worth the money. All the restaurants are top notch and there are 5 courses (my favourites being the shrimp flambe, and the tender, melt in your mouth beef) paired with wine / beer. Our guide Guy is amazing and told us all the fun facts about Quebec City. My wife and I enjoyed it a lot - definitely a highlight of our anniversary celebration.

I booked this tour for me and my two teenage daughters for a Thanksgiving treat! We met our tour guide Marie at the office and began our tour at the office which is located near the cruise ship terminal in New town… a total of four restaurant stops and Marie was engaging, inclusive of everyone in the group and very warm…two great spots off Champlain quarter including a microbrewery and then we took the funiculaire up the hill… two great spots, The Continental, and the Clan for fantastic fare which were in close proximity to the Chateau Frontenac. The Christmas Markets started today which was a great walking adventure for us after a great dining adventure… A great activity with teenagers as well!

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, informative, and pleasant. His passion for Quebec and it’s history is evident throughout the tour.

Danielle was great talking about a city and province she loves. The restaurants selected were great. What a great way to taste foods from the area in great settings. We would recommend this tour to visitors who want to experience both food and history of Quebec. We will recommend and hope to come back. Quebec City is a beautiful city to visit without having to go to Europe.

This was an excellent walking tour of the lower and upper sections of the Old City. Our guide Pierre was energetic, friendly and thorough. He did a nice job of providing a range of information including historical, architectural, and cultural facts, as well as providing some trivia and other fun facts about life in Quebec City.

I really, really recommend this tour if you like great food, learning a bit about old town Quebec with a pleasant walk thrown in. The restaurants were varied and you really did come away feeling like you had a five course dinner. Our guide Danielle was informative, humorous and an excellent dining companion. The food was delicious, the history fascinating and a bit of a stroll aided the digestion. All in all it was great fun.

The tour was great and very interesting. Jocelyn was a wonderful guide! She took care to answer all questions and is clearly passionate about Quebec and French Canadian history.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and personally. The sights that we visited gave us a wonderful view of the city, the food was wonderful and provided a glimpse of venues that we could not hit found on our own.

This was such a perfect tour of Old Quebec! Our guide Diane grew up in the city and had lived there all her life. She brought her experience and knowledge--and obvious love for her hometown--to the tour. This is a great way to get to know QC. I recommend it very highly.

I was expecting so much more in the way of a historical tour of Quebec city. Walking from restaurant to the next restaurant, we were told of our surroundings. The problem is there wasn’t enough of history included in the tour for me. We spent more time in the 4 restaurants we visited. Another problem for me was the guides very French thick accent. I could not understand hardly anything she said. Add lots of noise and commotion to the mix and you understand nothing she is saying. We had our first course, a salad, at a nice restaurant. No choice of anything to drink other than water or wine At all the restaurants we visited. It was good, nothing real special. Our second restaurant, we had French onion soup. Very good, but nothing special. our third restaurant, we had shrimp flambé which was good and very, very filling. Our fourth restaurant was at a monastery. This is where we were presented with our main entrée. By this time I was stuffed and nothing on my plate was appealing. I ate nothing. We had one more stop for dessert, which my husband and I declined going to. We were stuffed to-the max and could not have put one more bite of food in our mouths. We ended our tour after the monastery. While our tour guide was pleasant and friendly, I feel I missed out on a lot of history because I could not hear her or understand her. Would I do this tour again? No. This tour is good for foodies who like to eat a lot. For me, I did not feel like it was worth almost $400 for this tour for my husband and I. That’s a lot of money. I would go back to Quebec city in a heartbeat. What a beautiful town with beautiful people.

Interesting history with good basic review of that. Guide seemed knowledgeable and walk went at a pleasant pace.
