Driver was great, knew the island well & showed us a hidden view spot. Would highly recommend this half day private tour for couples or small group

Be very sure that all your anticipated stops are open. We did not stop at either the winery or the cheese shop which was a large part of our itinerary because they were not open. So this is basically transportation to various sites that you decide on. Our driver was wonderful and the sites that we saw were lovely. The views were beautiful from across the river.

It was so relaxing to have a private tour with an experienced guide/driver. We thoroughly enjoyed the itinerary and visiting this beautiful island.

Definitely a must do experience when visiting Quebec!! Our driver, Isabelle, was wonderful and tailored the tour to meet our needs and interests. The ride was a great way to see part of the island and try local flavors (cider, chocolates, wine, cheeses, etc.). And, of course, when the weather cooperates, it’s just a perfect way to spend an afternoon!

You should know that this is not a tour - it’s a driver who simply takes you to and from point a, b, c, etc. We had a nice day overall - but our driver barely spoke English, which made the day challenging. We had no context about the island or the stops. When we were dropped off at each stop, we had no context about the place, what to do when we went inside, how much time we had, etc. Some of this slowed things down as we had to figure it out for ourselves. We also ran out of time and did not get to go to the winery (the place we really wanted to go) or get ice cream at the chocolate stop*. Very disappointing 😢 Need this to be >4 hours or better manage the time. Given the language barrier, lack of context/info, and poor time management, I’d recommend renting a car for the day and doing this yourself. All stops we went to were along 1 road, so it’s easy to navigate. Couple notes: - There’s no opportunity to sample items (eg, cheese) before you buy. However some places allow you to buy a flight/sampler. - There are actual bathrooms at the cassis spot, but the line can be long. The cider shop and the fromaggerie both had porta potties. Not sure about the winery or chocolate shop. *The chocolate shop was our last stop and we did get chocolates, but the line for ice cream was 30+ minutes. After 10 minutes, we realized we wouldn’t be able to get ice cream and leave at the time we were told we needed to leave (it was our last stop and we were told we had a “hard out”). We saw the driver standing outside waiting, so we left the line to meet him. The driver then called someone and told us we could stay, but at that point the line was even longer. After 10 min, it hadn’t moved so we left as we didn’t want to stand in line waiting another 30-45 minutes.

Personable and personalized service - our driver was more than happy to adjust the tour to visit a location that wasn't on the usual itinerary, and to drop or adjust the time at others. Courteous, attentive, and good conversation! I truly appreciated this self-guided approach, allowing us to set the pace and format, then sit back and let a professional driver make sure we made it safely between our destinations - highly recommended. I think there may be an opportunity to offer a more expansive itinerary (at higher cost) for people who might be interested in a longer day - I know that we would have upgraded.

This was a great tour. Our guide was wonderful. And we enjoyed all the stops. We give it 5 stars and will recommend to all our friends.

My 20-year-old son and I took this trip to Ile d'Orleans. This was a great opportunity to rest our feet from all the walking in and around old Quebec and see someplace unique. Our guide, Naima messaged us when she was en-route and arrived promptly at our hotel at the designated time. The communication with the tour company from the day we booked could not have been better. Naima was flexible and adjusted the tour a bit as we were not interested in two of the stops. We still spent the entire time on the island but did a bit more sightseeing than stopping with her flexibility. Naima was a great ambassador for the area. She was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. My son and I know zero French between us which was not a problem at all. Expect to eat but nothing too heavy and filling with the exception of the ice cream at the end. Definitely save room! We stopped at the Cider factory and cheese shoppe as well as a roadside fruit stand, local bakery and roadside maple syrup stand (the local syrup makes for a great gift to bring home). The one less than excellent reviewer I read commented on feeling rushed. We didn't feel rushed at all. I think a lot has to do with the number in your party, whether you do all of the planned stops, and how long you take at each. The pace couldn't have been better as far as we were concerned. I would highly recommend this excursion!

I was a little concerned at first because when I booked the trip in February Montmorency Falls was listed on the tour but was not on the itinerary when I checked a few days before the actual excursion. They were very gracious and allowed us to add the falls in. Isabelle was a wonderful driver. We still had enough time to visit several outstanding places on the island. The wine tasting and charcuterie plate at Isle de Bacchus was my favorite.

During my stay in the Quebec City region I use a couple services from this company. Impeccable service, they allowed me to discover the city. This tour was great because it embraces both Old Quebec on foot and the plains and other sites by car.

Used this service to get to the Club Med. It was perfect. They picked me up from the airport and proceeded directly to the hotel. The car was very clean and the driver was friendly.
