A wonderful fresh experience at the Farsons Brewery heritage center.
I have passed the Brewery many times and never had the opportunity to visit. It looks amazing from the outside and was drawn by the copper brewing pots show cased over two floors giving that full steam ahead feeling .An amazing clean welcoming entrance that has so many interesting things going on in any direction one looks. Spread five floors one is kept busy when learning about all the processes and History of the present company and the company roots before.

          Fantastic attraction
Popeyes Village in Malta is a unique and charming attraction that offers visitors a nostalgic and immersive experience. Based on the iconic Popeye character, the village is actually a film set originally created for the 1980 movie "Popeye," starring Robin Williams. It’s nestled in a scenic bay, providing beautiful views and a laid-back atmosphere. The village is like stepping into a colorful cartoon world. The buildings are quaint, with vibrant colors and rustic charm that transport you straight to the fictional world of Popeye and his friends. Visitors can walk around the set, explore the different buildings, and take in the whimsical details. There are even opportunities for photos with life-size character cutouts and a variety of themed activities, making it a fun place for families and fans of the movie alike. Aside from the film set, the village also has a small museum showcasing movie memorabilia and offering insight into the making of the film. There are also shows and events, such as the “Popeye and Friends” show, which adds to the fun and interactive vibe of the place. For those looking for a more relaxed visit, there’s a lovely outdoor space for picnics, and you can enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant, which serves local fare and snacks. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. While Popeyes Village may not be a high-energy theme park, its charm lies in its peaceful setting and nostalgic appeal. It’s a great destination for families with younger children, movie enthusiasts, or anyone looking for a unique and tranquil spot to explore in Malta.

          Good value, long day
The tours are well organised, collecting people from the different areas and distributing them into appropriate langiage tour groups. There is a lot to see in a day and the tour guides are well informed aand are professional.

          Church craft
The combined ticket gets you entry to both the cathedral and its museum. The cathedral has a highly decorated interior and is nice to take some time to enjoy the stillness. The museum hosts a lot of silver work including some wonderful statues of the apostles and lots of impressive artwork.

Wonderful views but a poor experience in other respects.
Very disappointing. It’s hard to see how they can have made such a poor job of this wonderful tour. The views are really spectacular and these harbours are full of interesting history, so what can go wrong? The English commentary was really poor, delivered in a monotonous, dreary voice and in an accent that most of our group of 30 intelligent English tourists couldn’t understand. Those who spoke German said that it was better! Most people turned off completely so I can’t comment on the content delivered but we didn’t come back with much interesting background or history. The red two deck catamaran is too big to do this job and so a large portion of people have to sit in seats that don’t afford a clear view or make it easy to take photos, especially as some passengers often stood up to take their own photos blocking the view of those in inner seats. If you get a good view from side seats ok but I can’t recommend this cruise if you want to learn any history. It’s clearly a very popular and commercially successful trip but this sort of “industrial tourism” is not giving a good service.

          Mdina guided tour
I was separated from the tour with another customer. There was absolutely no attempt by the guide to find out where we were he didn't even know we were missing. Other customers alerted him to the fact but nothing about it. We eventually caught with hem by me ringing and speaking to Michael( (who was amazing). When we caught up with the tour the guide didn't apologise. In fact he was totally nonplused. There was no checking numbers or information on the day, Dinner was thrust upon us with no asking about allergies. The two guides instead of splitting into groups of their own languages they tried to speak alternatively. It was only us suggesting the take their own tours but stayed close that they did this. It was a very very long day with mostly travelling

The group was far too large ..30 plus. This meant that the guide spent a lot of the tour checking/waiting for people.
The guide did not chat between the sights and used a speaker and not headsets for the participants meaning she could not keep a good commentary going. The boat trip split the party on 3 boats with very little information provided by the boatman…..who should have been provided with a cheat sheet. Finally there was confusion at the start when one of the 3 guides was late due to a traffic accident and the guide who was there did not explain what was happening….I actually called the tour organiser to find out and I informed the rest of the tour.

          Popeye Village - Read Review
There are amazing views, postcard and popcorn are included in your price, this is a very nice touch, staff and characters are brilliant, shows are worth watching. If your intentions are to play mini golf, this is very disappointing, no holes numbered, clubs and balls laid anywhere, you have to find your own around the course, objects not attached to the floor, very poor. The inflatable course was not open due to the weather, this is fine and understandable, but we had pre paid tickets at full price, ticket prices were cheaper on the day due to it being closed, we were never offered a refund or reduction, I have had to do this later via trip advisor. Scanned out tickets and let us in whilst other people getting changed £18 each due to inflatables being closed.

Keep it to one guide per bus!!
The whole trip was ok overall. There was a few downside issues mainly with having two guides in one bus. I have anxiety and I sat in the first seat of the bus to help me cope. The Portuguese Guide informed me that she needed the seat as there's was 2 guides. So I felt obligated to move. She never once offered to share the seat. Lack of compassion in this situation. I told my guide Olivia about it. She offered to help me swap seats. I declined as we needed to get going. Also there was a language barrier caused in the bus as the group thought there was assigned seats. Which caused a Portuguese couple to be upset about me sitting where they were previously. They were cursing at me. Only did I informed the guide was there anything mentioned about seats. Lunch was a set menu, but satisfactory. Lastly the guide Hannah was travelling with us to the bus transfers. When returning to bus transfers. Asked for assistance and got " I'm not with you!" Found it very rude as we pay for services, not to get rudeness from staff. A polite manner would of been fine.

If you want to pay for a tour and be left behind, book with this agency !!
The worst tour operator I have ever used !! I left my hotel to go to the meeting point 1 hour prior to the start of the tour. When booking a tour in Valetta, many tour operators offer hotel pick ups at various locations as it is hard to drive into the old city. 1 hour prior prior to the tour, I started calling this booking agency to tell them I cannot find the office they indicated as a meeting point. Their google map links that they kept sending me, were useless links, kept taking me back to the starting point, yet the tour operator would not accommodate us with another pick up location, like the Phoenician Hotel, Grand Hotel, at the ferry port, or other, they would not put me in touch with the driver to arrange an alternative pick up location, all together, they could not care less if you find the meeting point or not. PS the agency did not even offer the tour for the next day to make up for the bad links that did not help us find their office. I travel a lot, I have never had such a poor and indifferent service, on an island where otherwise the hospitality was quite pleasant. When booking tours with this agency, BE CERTAIN you have alternative plans, as you too may be left behind, with no touring plans. Terrible, rude and inhospitable experience.

Unexpected find that Malta temples are 2,000 years older than Great Pyramid of Egypt! Doesnt have much information explaining things you need a booklet or guide but it is well worth it....and also visit the Museum of Archaeology in Valleta which has much better explanations and descriptions

We went with them through Civitatis.
They pick us up half an hour late. They take us to a tourist distribution center. We board a bus full of Germans, because the excursion is in German and Spanish. At 10:00 the explanation begins. This is 1 and a half hours later than the official start time.
The first stop, at 10:30, is at the stone museum. We had not hired him. We have been there until 11:30. At 12:20 we were already at the Blue Grotto after having seen the Hagar Qim temple at full speed, with minimal explanation.
From there to the coast for the boat ride, not included in the price.
If we had done it on our own we could have seen more temples and stayed longer. We have lost a lot of time because of the disastrous organization.
