Visit a penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve all in one day during this tour, including round-trip transport from Cape Town. First, catch sight of the endangered African penguins on the beach, and then travel over to Cape Point in the nature reserve. Spend more than two hours at Cape Point, and keep an eye out for ostrich, antelope, and whales. You can also take part in an optional hike in the reserve if you choose.
What to Expect

Get picked up in the morning, and settle into a luxury coach equipped with onboard amenities including a toilet, reclining seats, free Wi-Fi, and USB charging ports. Enjoy the scenic drive to Boulders Beach through Muizenberg and Fish Hoek. Your guide points out points of interest along the way and will be at hand to answer any questions you have about the route, Cape Point and Boulders Beach.

After visiting the penguins at Boulders Beach, our next stop is at Cape Point, located in the Cape of Good Hope Nature park. We will keep a sharp look out for the variety of antelope, ostrich, and other game in this area, whilst scanning the ocean for a whale sighting during the Cape's whale season (July-November).

Choose to enjoy some scrumptious lunch (your own expense) at the Two Oceans restaurant before joining the optional hike from Cape Point to the Cape of Good Hope headland (medium fitness required). After a day spent exploring, sit back in your seat, and enjoy the coastal drive back to Cape Town via Scarborough and Kommetjie, with spectacular views from the Ou Kaapse Weg mountain pass.

Included with the ticket are transport to and from Cape Point in a luxury air-conditioned coach, the entrance to Cape Point Nature Reserve. Tickets are only valid for stipulated day of booking. The return time is approximately 5:30pm.

As far as I recall the bus did not take that route. It’s pretty well non stop to Simons Bay then non stop to Cape Point. If the weathers fine there are plenty of opportunities for photography especially at Cape Point and... More

I would say no. My tour arrived back about 1.5 hours late as a person who should not have hiked at Cape Point did and held us all up. You never know what may happen.
