Great Tour
Feb 2020 • Couples
Just done this half day tour with Dwayne our driver from Glory Tours.
Visited Harrison’s Caves, Bathsheba, Cherry Tree Hill and St Nicholas Abbey.
All excellent despite an overcast day but St Nicholas Abbey particularly interesting and informative.
Dwayne was an excellent tour guide and driver, despite his view that the West Indies are the best cricket team in the world!!!
Would thoroughly recommend this tour we have a much better understanding of the island and what it has to offer.
Well done Dwayne 👍👍

Amazing Tour with Glynne!
Nov 2019
Tour was all day. So many places visited. Just stop and enjoy each and every spectacle presented. In the background, Glynne was giving us the commentary and history of each and every spot visited. His perspectives were a font of knowledge in all things Barbados. Your tour and experience would be more memorable with him at the helm. Thank you Glynne for showing my family around your home.

Treasures of Barbados tour
Dec 2019
This was a lovely tour and our driver / guide was awesome.Webster was his name, he made our day very pleasurable. It was nice to see the many landscapes of Barbados. Harrison caves were very impressive and the landscape around it was awesome. Nicholas Abby was very nice. We enjoy the rum tasting and learning about rum making and the history of the plantation, very informative.

Very pleasant day
Charles was right on time to pick us up. He made the whole multi-hotel pick up interesting by learning our names and exchanging quips. We were the only ones to select the half-day tour, so we ended up spending our time with him. First, he was a patient, knowledgeable guide. Second, we truly enjoyed the 3 stops. We've been to a lot of caves, but Harrison's is different in how young it is, and how modern the accommodations are. We went to Bathsheba where we got to watch men harvesting sea urchins - something truly different. Then we went to St. Nicholas Abbey which is not to be missed. Beautiful house, interesting history, and a nice tour. As we returned to our hotel, we had a great conversation with Charles and learned more about Barbados history. I recommend this tour.

Treasures of Barbados
Mar 2019 • Couples
In late March of this year, my wife and I booked the ‘Treasures of Barbados’ tour with Glory Tours. The tour was booked independent from the cruise ship (Crown Princess) and my email correspondence with Glory Tours before our trip were answered promptly. They provided a credit card receipt and all the needed information on meeting in Barbados when we arrived.

The tour started promptly at 8:30 AM and we met our guide Zadora outside the cruise ship terminal. Our fellow passenger were loaded into a clean and comfortable van and we were off to Harrison Caves. Zadora was quite nice, helpful and informative throughout the tour. When we arrive at the cave we were led to the ticket counter, given our tickets after a short wait and lead to the elevators. Our guide left us at that time and we were turned over the Harrison Cave staff to get into the elevator and from there to the video presentation about the cave. After the tour was complete, we made our way on our own back to the gift shop and met our guide after a short delay. Additional passengers were added to the van at the cave stop and our group also picked up another 5 passengers at an interim stop on the tour, filling our van. There seemed to be some confusion amongst Glory Tour drivers / managers at the caves which lead to a short delay in our leaving as well.

I do want to note here that we did not book a private tour.

The rest of the tour around the island proceeded – the roads are quite narrow (there was also a fair amount of road construction which caused some traffic-related delays) and Zadora did a great job navigating and keeping us safe. The final stop at St. Nicholas Abby was quite long – our group joined a tour of the house and grounds that unfortunately extended our stay past the time we agreed to leave and we were late returning to our ship, once we dropped off our additional non-cruise ship passengers. We were never in danger of missing our departure but did have much less time than anticipated to shop or explore more of Bridgetown on our own before having to return to the ship. Some in our group were agitated by our delay and Zadora was very professional in how she handled the situation.

I did communicate with Glory Tours management upon our return and the concern I had was properly and professionally addressed by them in a timely manner.

Just ok
This tour was very disorganized, involved a lot of waiting and driving around the island. The overall sightseeing consisted of less than 2 hours and was very rushed. The remainder of the 7 hours consisted of waiting for several other groups to be picked up from other tours, getting split up into groups that didn’t make much sense, driving long distances and waiting in a car while the guide literally went back to collect people one by one and processed payments. While what little we saw was impressive we would have been better off hiring a cab to take us there and doing a tour on our own.

Local operator tour with some confusion
Dec 2018 • Friends
We booked with Glory Tours instead of the ship while cruising on The Celebrity Summit to save money and avoid the big bus crowds. To start, the Summit was late getting to Barbados so we were already late for the tour. We arrived at the meeting point, checked in and waited. We didn't know what to expect since there were two other ships in port and figured the original tour left without us. After awhile we were escourted to a small bus with a another group and driven to Harrison's Cave. We were taken quickly to the front of the line and placed with another group for the cave tour. After the cave tour we were left without a guide as we searched for someone to take us on the rest of the tour. Several minutes passed before someone came and took us to the next van. After that the tour was much smoother and without delays. I have to give Glory Tours for making the tour work out after a dismal start. We hit all the stops as promised and enjoyed the day.

Great tour by Dwaine
Jul 2018 • Family
We were on Freedom of the Seas and I booked this tour independently. Dwaine was our driver and he did an excellent job. We took a tour into Harrison's Cave on the tram. This was a very good tour and very informative. We also went to Bathsheba and St. Nicholas Abbey. We had a great tour at St. Nicholas Abbey. I feel that we really saw a great deal of the area and we thoroughly enjoyed this tour. I would not hesitate to book another tour with Glory Tours. They were excellent!
