What to expect
After being picked up from your Barbados hotel, meet your guide and small group of up to 12 people, and soak up the scenery en-route to the first destination—Hunte’s Garden. Learn how the botanical gardens were the creation of legendary horticulturist Anthony Hunte as you stroll around the idyllic gardens and spot an array of exotic plants, trees, and flowers. Continue to the coast to Bathsheba beach and admire spectacular views across the Caribbean as you watch the surfers taking to the waves. Next, make a stop at the historic Morgan Lewis Windmill, the island’s last remaining sugar mill, where you can watch a sugar grinding demonstration and sample a glass of sweet sugar cane juice. After a quick stop to admire the views from Cherry Tree Hill, arrive at the final stop of the day—St Nicholas Abbey. Hear how the 17th-century mansion is one of the last remaining plantation houses in the Western Hemisphere, and head inside to explore the historic building and sample some of its traditional rum, which is produced on-site. Your tour ends with drop-off at your hotel.

Booked this tour but when picked up, we were told it doesn't exist and instead went to the Mount Gay Visitor Center followed by Hunte's Garden. Both turned out to be excellent, but not what we had booked.

We did the Little England tour with Stephen. A great guide and a great tour. We were picked up at our apartment and then dropped off at a restaurant of our choice. Everything worked very smoothly and we had a great time. Definitely recommend this tour company.

Enjoyable Tour of the Island
We enjoyed the tour of the island with Kwame. Kwame picked us up on time at the cruise port and after dropping off other guests at Harrison’s cave, he took me and my wife on a tour of the island that included the Hunte’s Gardens, which were amazing, Bathsheba Beach, which was beautiful, the Zander memorial, the Morgan Lewis Windmill, Cherry Tree Hill, the St. Nicholas Abbey, which was a little disappointing, Old Town and the Platinum Coast. Throughout the tour he told us about the island and its history. It was a great tour of the island, but I would skip the Abbey.

Just the most beautiful and enchanting place to visit!
Jul 2019
We visited Huntes garden on this years trip to Barbados and what a treat it is! We were the only people there and oh my word i was left totally in awe of the place - peaceful, beautiful and a real labour of love with hummingbirds just doing their thing, another hidden piece of paradise - even if you aren't into 'gardens' this place is a must visit!

Gorgeous gardens and Great history!!
Feb 2019 • Couples
We were picked up right on time and taken to meet our guide Stephen. Since we were on the opposite side of the island, we were with a group of people doing a different tour. We met up with a few more people who were also going to Huntes Gardens and Stephen took us to the gardens. On the way, he provided interesting facts about the history of Barbados and pointed out interesting landmarks as well as making a few stops for us to get some great photos! I was blown away by the gardens and still cannot believe that they were created in only 2 years and still maintained by only Hunte himself and one assistant. They are so beautiful and there are so many lovely sitting areas. We were able to sit down with Mr. Hunte and hear about the creation and maintenance of his gardens. He is so friendly and welcoming. It was a real treat. There are also some great souvenirs and artwork from local artisans for sale as well. I would call the gardens a "MUST SEE" attraction! After the gardens, we visited St. Nicolas Abbey. It was interesting and we were given some rum punch featuring rum from their own distillery. It was tasty. The tour guide was dynamic and full of great information, but the size of the tour made it difficult to hear and follow everything she said. The extra stops in between these attractions were well worth the time spent there.. The windmill was massive and made for some great photos. Bathsheba beach was amazing. We got to see one surfer coming in, but would have loved the chance to see more. All in all, though, it was a fantastic day and we thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend it!

Enjoyable visit to Central/Eastern Barbados
My friend and I took the Little England Tour. We really enjoyed the beauty and lush surroundings of Hunte’s Gardens and the history of the St Nicholas Abbey and it’s distillery. The stops at the Morgan Lewis Windmill and Cherry Tree Hill were of geographic and historical interest, but were not particularly notable. Our tour guide, Ryan, was entertaining and informative. I’d recommend Glory Tours.

A must see if you are vacationing in Barbados
Hunter's garden was absolutely beautiful. Meeting Mr Hunte only added to the experience. The garden is absolutely breathtaking - I would recommend topping the trip off with some of his rum or warm cake!! His stories of the garden, how he built it, and how it fits into the history of Barbados is a must!
